Absolutely fantastic! I had several plumbing issues that arose all in one weekend and searched yelp…read morefor a local plumber and landed on Burr Oak Plumbing based on all the recent positive reviews. Pete contacted me in less than 24 hours from the time I opened the project in Yelp and we discussed all the issues that I found over the weekend. He gave me some troubleshooting pointers to try on my own first to see if it resolves the issue. FYI - Those pointers were spot on and my issue was resolved. For those other issues, faucet replacements, valve cartridge replacement, overflow flow repair, and hot water heater expansion tank replacement, he provided an overview of the issues, upfront cost for parts and labor. His prices were extremely competitive and his hours are flexible! The work was done so quickly and issues are now resolved. Pete is extremely professional, honest, and personable. I have Burr Oak Plumbing permanently on my speed dial and will be using Pete for all my future plumbing issues! Thanks Pete!

He offered to call my husband and also go over things with him, as I'm not great with remembering specific details. We both were very impressed. I would gladly recommend him to family and friends without reservations. I am so happy to have found a great plumber!

Korinek & Son Concrete And Asphalt - Back patio

Updated Review as of June 29, 2025…read more We have been trying to contact the company about the cracking in the back patio. They have not responded until I went to Yelp and requested a quote under a fictitious name. The cracking in the back patio creates uneven surface which is especially visible during the winter. They addressed it last year when they were doing our front steps by saying resealing the patio will make it look really nice. The patio only got worse. When they were pouring the back patio, they had to stop. Next day they came in with the jackhammers to take out half patio. I asked what was going on and it was explained that the concrete had too many rocks. Why would you only remove half the patio? The side of the patio that was pored with the new concrete has had no issues. If you want to see real reviews about how this company ghosts customers when the job is below par, check out the reviews for T/S Concrete. The owners changed the name of the company, but Tim and Sheila own both companies. The new company includes their son Matt.

Beware - Poor Drainage Work & No Follow-Through Family…read morebusiness (Matt, Sheila, and Tim). I hired them to pour concrete- All work to be pitched properly for proper water drainage- exactly what our contract stated. Instead, the concrete on one side was pitched toward my house, causing water to come inside. Matt promised twice to come look at it, but was a no-show both times. When I first confronted him about ghosting me, he later called ranting about how busy he was, implying he didn't have time for me. He even said it wasn't his fault my house sits low--yet still took the job (and my payment) without hesitation. This company used to be T/S Concrete with terrible reviews -- the name change doesn't seem to have changed the service. The work looks nice and prices are competitive, but what good is that if it damages your home? If you decide to hire, DO NOT make final payment until you confirm proper drainage. Best of luck.
