That night he began bleeding and had pain. We called them and the dr that called back was very nice. He told us to try a bladder anesthetizer and to call the office the next day. We did as the med did not help. They told him this was all normal and to increase fluids. The following day it was worse. My husband could not sleep because of the pain. The nurse told him to"think" about the pain and take Tylenol. She said she would call us back. We went to the Baptist beaches er. Turned out he had an infection. They were wonderful and took care of it. While we were there an on call dr called back who knew nothing about us and said ok. First of all the communication with them is useless second of all I question why we have to go to the er to find out he has an infection when we have a urologist? We were very disappointed in their level of expertise and the way his pain was blown off. I put a bad review on their website but I think they only show the 5 star ones. Instead I got a steroid cream and eventually they did a biopsy on my glans to check for cancer , which I did not have. Since the biopsy I've experienced bleeding from my penis either randomly or when I'm having a hard bowel movement and find myself straining. It's been bleeding now for 2 years. I can't get an erection without it bleeding. I also cannot wash properly because they never properly addressed the phimosis. Any attempt to wash the area causes great pain and bleeding. It's been going on for 2 years now and I refuse to go back. I'm afraid to have anyone else look at it because touching causes such pain and not being able to properly wash the area is a real embarrassment. Find another place to go. Don't let them take you into surgery. Get another opinion. Seek help elsewhere.
