The office manager told that I wasnt supposed to sit in the dentist chair, it was for the dentist. I had to sit in the chair anyway to fill out the forms. The office manager was not helpful. The consultation on the first visit was 300 dollars. When I came back a week later for the appointment to redo a root canal I had to wait for an hour before the Endodontist came in to do the root canal. When I finished I had to pay 400.00 dollars for my portion. I had no idea that the consultation was 300 dollars and the root canal was 1400.00 total of 1700.00 dollars for 45 minutes of work. I paid my portion and received the receipt. started to go home and I looked at the bill. I didnt understand so went back to the office to talk to the office manager. She was very curt with me and didnt care that I will have to pay out of pocket close to 600 dollars. Utah valley Endodontist is not willing to work with people on a fixed income.

I was going to get home in the evening and had to fly out the morning. The tooth was sensitive and we called to see if they could look at it that night. After making some calls to decide which dentist and which assistant would stay to help, they scheduled me for 6:30 in the evening, right when I would get off of the commuter train from the airport. They anticipated that they would have to do some work and make a whole new crown (2.5 hour procedure), but they were willing to do it for me. When I arrived, they welcomed me in with smiles and it turned out in the end that it we were able to use my previous crown and it took less than an hour! I was off the next morning to Boston for my conference. No pain and a full set of teeth. Thank you, thank you, Cougar Dental!!!
