Appointments have always been on time, and the front desk staff is super friendly and help you feel welcome. My hygienist has been great. She knew her way around, was gentle, and got the work done in a timely manner. She was sensitive to my needs, and listened when I needed to spit more, or needed a break to swallow. Dr. Cam is outstanding. He shows genuine care and listens. To me, this is super important. He's not just about business, and getting people in and out of seats. He's very personable, and remembers his patients. Overall Stonehaven is a great dental office to go to, and you can be confident that you'll get fantastic service.

When I asked their answer was that it is just routine practice, and if I go against their routine practice( not let them do what they want) I should go some place else; however, this unnecessary radiation exposure to my children and Bluffdale Dental routine practice should had been explained to us before it was done to my children and not after the fact. I also asked how often children gets panoramic x-ray the doctor said about every 5 years ( assistant said every 3 to 5 years) then I asked if they had requested dental records to see last time it was done since my children are new to them( their first visit) they said NO! this is so unacceptable! what if the other dentist got this done recently; Bluffdale dental did not care enough to know this information to protect my children against unnecessary radiation exposure which can be harmful to their health. Not a sincere apology or any effort to understand the client's point of view. I am devastated. As far as the visit went my children were very impressed with how well the staff treated them.

When I showed up to my appointment I was met by Dr. Proctor who was apparently a few years out of dental school. I had to laugh and I explained to him I asked for the seasoned dentist upfront due to my fear of all things dentistry and wished us both luck. He was AWESOME! His personality is hilarious. He would joke when I needed a joke. Made me feel comfortable from minute one. We are many appointments, fillings and crowns in and he is still my all time favorite dentist and I've had many in my nearly sixty years. My permanent crown today went on so perfectly I was in and out in no time . Thank you Taylor for assisting ,you were great too. I'm so happy I just had to leave a review! Afterwards, I was having really bad nerve pain, I couldn't chew anything on either side of my mouth and waited 2 weeks like they said to. after the holidays I called and they were able to get me in to check the fillings. 2 out of the 4 were not bonded to the tooth and one of them was a maybe. They fixed 2 and wanted to wait on the other and see if it 'felt better'. within 24 hours I knew one of the ones that was 'fixed' wasn't. the pain was way worse than it was before. I couldn't eat or drink and was scared to do so because the pain was so bad. I called first thing Monday morning, was told they would call me back, they didn't and I had to call right before they closed. The gal at the front desk answered "Hi Kylee, lets get you scheduled" like she was very annoyed. They wouldn't get me in for a week and a half for a problem they caused even after I explained I couldn't eat or drink due to pain, I felt very dismissed and like they didn't believe me. I found another dentist that was able to get me in the next day to do an exam. 1 of the ones the dentist 'fixed' and the one he wanted to 'wait on' both were not bonded to my tooth and that new dentist redid them. There were air bubbles in both fillings. He was able to get me numb first try after I explained I had a hard time getting numb and I was pain free the next day and could eat just fine. Since I went to another dentist, and insurance only covers the replacement of a same filling after 2 years I had to pay for everything Out of pocket again at this new dentist and have spent way more than I should have had to. do not go here. Terrible dentistry and terrible service.

The post went straight out the side of my bone and caused an infection that is causing lots of issues. Dr Matthews NEVER came forward and said he messed up, nor did he take an X-ray after the surgery and correct the issue. Every dentist I've seen has said this is HUGE AND HORRIBLE mistake and are shocked when they see the X-rays, and have called it a "VERY BAD DAY" that Matthews must've had. If you don't want this to happen to you, and get the cold shoulder when you confront him to fix it, then go elsewhere.

CASH PAYING / NO INSURANCE - PLENTY OF BETTER CHOICES ELSEWHERE!…read more We WERE patients of this practice the past couple of years and had good service for the times we went (2X/year). However, if you do not have insurance (unemployed, self-employed) you will significantly save by taking your business elsewhere. TMFD provides NO discount to cash paying customers. You will pay the FULL amount of the rate they "bill" insurance companies, even though TMFD collects only a portion from insurance companies due to the contracted rates for said services. Example: I was interested in just a cleaning. TMFD wanted to charge me $112 for the cleaning. I had a cleaning earlier this year (Jan '24) and the rate they billed insurance for just the cleaning was $97. What insurance actually paid them was $45! Yet now, TMFD wants to charge me $112. I called around and found more sympathetic dentists to my current situation who not only had a less expensive rate to begin with, but offered a discount to cash paying customers (because they know they're going to collect more from a cash paying customer they offer a 10-25% discount than they would billing insurance). Once we have insurance again, no problem. Just amazed that TMFD wasn't willing to work with us and would so easily loose two loyal customers! BTW, their in-house plan wasn't that great of an option, once you run the numbers.

But then a friend of ours recommended Dr. Rosvall, my wife went for a cleaning and loved it, so I went too. The hygienist was great--the best I've had! And the dentist, Dr. Rosvall, fixed a problem I was having with my four top front teeth being loose due to bone loss. He found a very clever solution, bonding them together, and eliminated the need for me to get braces to move my lower. He seems wise and experienced and thoughtful. I really like this guy!
