I ended up having to postpone my engagement session due to wind and Chelsea was kind enough to reschedule me on her husband's birthday I was so grateful and would never expect someone to do that, but she accommodated me so graciously. Before doing my makeup she took the time to assess my skin type, talked me through my desired look, and exceeded my expectations! I had never felt so beautiful! On my wedding day, Chelsea did the same with my bridesmaids - however, after finishing the first bridesmaid's makeup it became apparent that all of my girls desired the same look - it was drop dead GORGEOUS! She knocked it out of the park! When it came time for her to do my makeup Chelsea remembered exactly what I wanted and took notes from my engagement photo makeup by going with a slightly fuller lash to kick things up a notch for the big day. It was as if she had read my mind. All of my girls were so pleased and even told me that it was obvious I had hired the best of the best for my big day. Then, she sprayed some product directly on my scalp (?), added some heat protectant, and proceeded to flat iron my hair. This was odd to me, as it is typically standard to finish a trim with a nice blowout. I also specifically asked for layers, and they weren't really touched. The attention to detail was just not there, especially as I left when I noticed the center back of my head was not fully dried. The stylist offered to wash my hair before she started my fiends trim I said sure thinking it would help with time. She placed some leave in conditioner and asked if I was comfortable. I was for a moment but I was left at the sink the entire time it was taking for my friends trim and hair curling so it definitely became uncomfortable. When it was finally my turn I was kinda surprused how basic a blow out was because she dried it and then used a curling iron to curl it right after. When I told another friend about that she told me that's not a true blow out and there's a round brush that should be involved and takes quite a while. As we were leaving I told my friend it kinda sucked and I felt like I could've done that myself. She said it might be that the stylist just wanted to eat because the stylist told her her bf brought her food. For the price, absolutely not. The girl was nice but she is not ready to work on her own. Also whoever does scheduling should've reached out to us to tell us we would have to share a single stylist and not just a surprise. I would not recommend this place, 1st impression is everything. I appreciate the owner reaching back out but I was not informed there would only be one stylist. That is a lie. We would have either rescheduled or booked elsewhere.
