I booked an appointment last minute on Saturday for Sunday morning. Sarah the business owner went out of her way to accommodate me despite a scheduling error (which was 100% my fault). I have long thick wavy hair ("Appalachian hair" as its often called). I wanted to take off a lot of length to preserve my hair health as it was starting to knot easily and develop split ends. Sarah took time to really consult and ask questions to understand what I wanted. It was an early morning appointment so only her and I were in the salon. She was so friendly and conversation was very easy. It became very clear early in the appointment that she is a master of her craft and has worked very hard to achieve the level of skill she has. She styled my hair beautifully which helped me feel super confident especially having been nervous to do a big chop. We scheduled an appointment a few days in advance. My friend was getting a trim and I wanted a blow out as I've never had one before and i thought it would be fun. When we went in there was only one stylist so when she said who wanted to go first I asked if there were no other stylists. She said no it was just her which I was disappointed in because I didn't want to have to wait. We weren't even offered any drinks. The stylist offered to wash my hair before she started my fiends trim I said sure thinking it would help with time. She placed some leave in conditioner and asked if I was comfortable. I was for a moment but I was left at the sink the entire time it was taking for my friends trim and hair curling so it definitely became uncomfortable. When it was finally my turn I was kinda surprused how basic a blow out was because she dried it and then used a curling iron to curl it right after. When I told another friend about that she told me that's not a true blow out and there's a round brush that should be involved and takes quite a while. As we were leaving I told my friend it kinda sucked and I felt like I could've done that myself. She said it might be that the stylist just wanted to eat because the stylist told her her bf brought her food. For the price, absolutely not. The girl was nice but she is not ready to work on her own. Also whoever does scheduling should've reached out to us to tell us we would have to share a single stylist and not just a surprise. I would not recommend this place, 1st impression is everything. I appreciate the owner reaching back out but I was not informed there would only be one stylist. That is a lie. We would have either rescheduled or booked elsewhere. read more

I requested a long bob haircut, but when she was done, my hair was uneven. The styling was nothing special she simply dried my hair, which isn't much considering I've had a keratin treatment. Yet, I was still charged for styling. I ended up going to a different salon afterward to fix the mistake. I found this salon thanks to yelp! This my fourth hairdresser in 5 years! Sinan was AMAZING!! The salon was busy but I still felt like the only customer! My hair was damaged and my color ruined. I came in wanting to get a chin length layered bob nothing special . My hair was long so there was plenty of hair to execute what I wanted . He made it seem like we were on the same page with what I wanted each time I confirmed it with him . At first nothing seemed wrong but by the middle of the haircut I could already feel something isn't right. I came to Bellisimo Salon after randomly deciding today that it was going to be today that I needed a haircut. I was very nervous to try a new salon but when I walked in I immediately felt better. Horrible horrible horrible. I asked Sinan for long curtain bangs, the picture I showed him also had long bangs down to her lips and he gave me short bangs up to my eyebrows. I already know if I ask for bangs close to my nose it'll be a little shorter when wet or you style them so that's why I ask for longer then I want them. Great service! I got a haircut and they gave me exactly what I wanted. The stylists were very friendly and accommodating.

This was my first time to this salon, I do not know her name. She did not tell me and I didn't ask but I think she is Asian. I came to get a hair cut and brought a Picture/ video showing what I want. My hair was pretty long and I chose a shorter cut so she had enough hair to excite the cut, She took a very brief look at the picture and said she got it, and didn't look at it again. She washed my hair and then started cutting. Half way I can tell it will look terrible and it was. She blow dried my hair and it looked awful, it was not fully dried but she started to curl it. When I started to point out what I don't like about the cut, instead of fixing it, she told me she has been cutting hair for 29 years and kept repeating that my hair is curly that is why I told like the cut. when I asked her to trim the ends because they didn't look right, she wanted to wash my hair again to show my that my hair is curly. I booked a last minute blow out appointment with Sinan while visiting from out of town. It was super easy to book online, and I was able to make the appointment just several hours in advance. After skimming Yelp reviews, I noticed that Sinan was very well liked and that his clients had great things to say, so I booked without hesitation. I have a lot of hair, with two rows of 22" hand tied extensions, and needed a good shampoo and blow dry. The shampoo was good, and the chairs at the wash bins are SO comfy! I don't think I've ever been so comfortable while getting my hair washed before. Afterwards, I did notice that it didn't feel like the excess water was squeezed out of my hair, and I went back to the chair for styling noticeably saturated. I assumed this was peto be delicate with my extensions. I appreciate that Sinan used heat protectant before starting the blow dry, though beyond that step, the blow out experience felt unfamiliar. Without sectioning my hair into layers, Sinan began the blow dry by utilizing a Dyson hairdryer with the flat brush attachment. He held my hair as if forming a low ponytail, and placed the brush attachment close to the nape of my neck and held it there for ~15-20 seconds before slowly moving it down through the ends. This was repeated multiple times. Sinan did utilize a round brush for my face-framing pieces, and placed one roller in the front for my bangs. The blow-dry itself lasted about 15 minutes or so, and it didn't feel completely dry when finished. Sinan then used a curling iron to curl all of my hair while making pleasant conversation. He was very kind and friendly. After curling, he applied a generous amount of oil/serum and hair spray. I believe that Sinan was doing his best, and at no time did I feel like he was being lazy or cutting corners. However, because of the blow dry technique and amount of product used in my hair, I left with hair that felt damp and dirty. The curls also fell quickly due to the amount of serum/oil that was applied after styling. Unfortunately, because I was traveling, I was unable to re-wash my hair on my own and I ended up booking another blowout elsewhere the following day. I appreciate Sinan's effort and overall my experience at Bellisimo was ok. In the future I may just be more diligent in choosing a stylist experienced in caring for extensions. read more

So to find a good salon and a good stylist to do my hair has been hard. I yelped and researched locations near me, and this place was #1 on the top of the list. I googled salons and they popped up again. After reading the reviews on both sites. I decided to give them a call. I was even more surprised to hear they could fit me in on the same day. They do walk-ins on most. Even more pleased when I was offered an appointment that same day. I needed it all. Cut, color, and low -lights, highlights (to cover my sparkles ), and correction. On top of that, my hair barely lasted an hour before it completely fell flat. When I made an appointment I wanted a perm I didn't want to wave I don't want to perm and I told the hairstyle is that my hair is hard it I've tried to permit once before and it didn't take my hair was hard to perm and I needed a perm curly permp this this stylist gave me a wrong useless perm and to try to fix it she chopped my hair and then kept chopping it to where I can't even put it in a ponytail it's so traumatizing and I contemplating just bringing up a civil lawsuit against this company and their stylist I'm going to post what my hair looks like and she told me that not only she can't I got to come back in a month or two but she chopped my hair is just it's ridiculous I can't even put it in a ponytail and and I am going to take civil matters against this salon in their culpability is ridiculous so not only can I not I didn't ask for no short hairstyle I didn't ask for this kind of hair she's and she had the audacity to tell me that when I come back in a couple months when my hair grows out from the top job she did that she'll only charged me 150 for to repermit to the perm that I asked her for to begin with and now I have short chopped hair ridiculous.
