Hospitals often just have whoever is on call be present at the delivery, but knowing it would be Kelly was a wonderful. It was great to be able to text with her in labor while we figured out the timing and have a follow up with her soon after the birth and again 6 weeks later. She provided information on how to stay healthy in pregnancy to reduce any complications and was very helpful postpartum. I hope to deliver our next baby with Kelly.

She is the BEST DOCTOR I've ever had and that is saying a lot because I have a couple of chronic conditions and have seen literally more than 200 doctors! She listens patiently, discusses your illness or disease and its likely course, then discusses the options with you. With me, I feel like I go in to see her, tell how I feel and what my symptoms are, she asks a few clarifying questions and exams me, then she tells me what's wrong and discusses with me how to make it feel better and get better. She is willing to change directions when something is not working and she is also willing to "try it your way" when you come in with thoughts and ideas for a treatment plan that you want to try (as long as it it safe), even if it is not the approach that she would normally advise. She will tell you when you need more advanced or specialized care than she can provide in her office and will refer you to an appropriate specialist. She is always open and honest with her patients. Her office staff are all professional, efficient, and kind. I highly recommend her! If she is not available, Dr. Kurtis Elward, another doctor in that same practice, is also very good.

I needed surgery to repair it. The woman's insurance company was threatening to sue me and harassing me multiple times a day to try to get me to dismiss the injuries as false. I also had a concussion, couldn't hear out of my left ear for a few months, had Bell's palsy, shingles and 3 bulging discs in my neck. I told Dr. Grant I thought I was going to have to get a lawyer to get Geico to stop harassing me, and he accused me of being the problem. fine, whatever, have your opinion. something else he did disgusts me. He told me and 2 other family members he released an entrapped tendon and repaired my rotator cuff, but in my surgical notes he changed that. luckily for me he wrote it on my post op note when leaving the hospital in his handwritten statement. it's the only up reason my medical costs were covered. what a jerk! do better Dr. grant! thank god I had a lawyer because my doctor didn't care what happened to me. that's clear. his surgery skills were fine, however.

It was done quickly and well and my follow up care was excellent. I could not be happier with the care I received from everyone in the office. The whole operation is very patient-centered and they are very accommodating about everything from appt. times to extra attention when a complication arises . She is not only knowledgeable about the condition, but ordered some tests that other doctors refused to order for me in the past, because they didn't understand the condition well enough to know they needed to be done. i saw Matt for physical therapy for CRPS snd he showed me very little respect, empathy or…read morecompassion. He hooked me up to a negative contrast machine and I told him it was hurting as tears streamed down my face. He cracked joke with another patient across the room "Darlene thinks she's in Matt's pain clinic". I didn't find it humorous at all. He acted like I just didn't want to exercise, but I was in an extreme amount of pain for which he had no compassion. He left that machine on my foot that felt like it was burning my skin off He stated it was on the lowest temperature snd seemed exasperated with me. The assistant showed more compassion than he did, but she had to do what he said. She apologized on his behalf. He refused to take it off. Prior to my few visits with Matt I had the cold version of CRPS. My foot was always ice cold and often blue or purple. After him using this machine for 25 minutes it always on fire. My surgeon said Matt was too aggressive with the machine with my nerve injury snd my nerve will now likely stay this way. Matt, you harmed me and you treated me poorly while you did it. I was kind to you. You were stressed because your children were in the were out of school with you at work, and I was trying to help you entertain them while you helped patients. I don't know why you felt you had the right to treat me the way you did. It was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I'm so angry at you for what you've done to my foot. It's in even more intense pain than before I saw you. You need to learn to listen to your patients. You told me I needed to do what you said or my ankle was going to be stuck like that when I was in intense pain. You said it to embarrass me if front of other people. That is not helping the situation. I didn't need you to act that way. You even said "'m not here to be your friend". Firstly, I didn't ask you to be and secondly that doesn't sound like someone who wants to help me. I've waited a long time before writing this review. I decided to go ahead with it, because you damaged my foot for life. i was recovering from a nerve wrap surgery and you chose to heat it up and now it's good and mad. Before coming to you I was making some progress at least able to walk some, but once this foot got put into a fire its changed everything. I'm really disabled now. I'm having to get a spine stimulator. I just want you to think next time. Be nicer and less cruel and judgmental. You have no ideal what I had been suffering with and I doubt you could have even handled it if your kids being if the office were stressing you out. I heard such good things about you, but you did not live up to them. Your knowledge about CRPS was not on point either.

I play a competitive, full-contact sport, and her knowledge of our sport and physical needs means that she has lots of great ideas to help cure (and help us manage) what ails us. In addition to regular chiropractic care - which she is very proficient at - she also works with modalities such as dry/wet cupping and blading. I got my first (ever) wet cupping treatment today, and it was amazing! Definitely not a walk in the park (you're working to release tissues that have become very comfortable being all bound up together, so there is some discomfort)...but my leg hasn't felt this good in years! I look forward to seeing all of the progress in my health and sport goals that this better body she's helping me get will allow. Additionally, the clinic at Heppner Family Practice is clean, well-organized, and seems to have whatever the providers need for your care. So all around a great place to be seen for your body needs!
