First of all, the actual facility is really well kept and beautiful. They have a cemetary right next to the property so I imagine if you have a plot there, it's very convenient for the guests to just walk over. There is plenty of parking adjacent to the building and the front lobby is well decorated and clean. The ceremony I attended was held in a comfortable room complete with several round tables simply decorated with flowers and pull out chairs. If you would like to have a slideshow of your loved one with music playing during the service, that is easily arranged. You can put your photos on a hard drive and give it to the funeral director. This was a nice touch. Afterwards, we enjoyed some food and light appetizers in their banquet room located across the hall. Again, I interacted with most of the staff present that day and everyone was so kind and respectful.

After staff removed a nearby tree, the grass completely died. The underlying issue is that the sprinkler and irrigation system in this specific section is broken and does not work. Without shade or functioning corporate maintenance, it is impossible for grass to grow.I have been incredibly patient. I have reached out politely on several occasions over the years. Most recently, I called Family Service Counselor Chris Hutson on September 9th, and was explicitly promised a callback. Once again, I was ignored and received no response. For a facility that operates under the "Dignity Memorial" brand, there is zero dignity in how they treat grieving families or maintain these grounds. I am posting a photo of the grave so the entire Jacksonville community can see the total lack of care they actually provide. If I could give zero stars for the zero grass and zero communication, I would.

The staff's attention to detail and the care they took to present my mother in the best possible way have clearly left a lasting impression on my family and attendees at the funeral. Eternity Funeral Home was highly recommended by my mother's church-family, and they lived up to their "5-Star" ratings. From the moment my brother and I consulted with the funeral home, we were met by a compassionate and empathetic staff that took their time to understand our wishes during such a difficult time. This funeral home was amazing to work with. Death and grieving can cause so much pain that it almost blinds you: everything becomes somewhat of a haze as you stitch things together, but the staff here was so wonderful and made everything very easy for us. Highly recommended and we will definitely consult with Eternity Funeral Home in the future if needed. David & Martin

The person who died collected antique cars and the funeral home found an antique hearse and an antique funeral flower hearse and limo for services. The vehicles were beautiful and immaculate. The service was held in a local church and the programs done were amazing. There was a keepable funeral card; a trifold almost silky autobiographical hand out as well as a service program. There were photos that were blown up and flowers were arranged beautifully. The cemetery service was respectful and all the family was given roses. I would definitely hire them for any funeral.

The roots were deep here, you could feel it as you walked though the doors. The staff was on point, opening doors, quietly pointing you in the right direction. Soft spoken and reverent, it takes a special kind of person to work in this field. I somehow passed an invisible line, a point in my life where funerals had become more frequent and almost the norm. Something that happens as you get older. Dad sat next to me on the bench and lamented about all the widows and widowers he knows, as he joined that status too this year.

They do everything in their power to satisfy your requests, wants or needs. They help you every step of the way. Not everyone is familiar with the planning process so just know you will be in good, I mean great hands when you unfortunately need to use their services. They have beautiful urns. Only complaint... they could use some new carpet or maybe new floors :) brighten up the place. I recommend the amazing men and women here for your funeral needs.

My family has been dealing with the sudden death if a beloved son/brother, while having to deal with this company who is going out of their way to be unhelpful, not honoring times or being helpful with transferring the body back home (to another state), not being courteous or considerate at all to a grieving mother, instead being disrespectful, telling us we keep bothering them & that they don't see what the big deal is. 10/10 do not recommend. They seemingly have a kink for mistreating & torturing grieving families.

After my father passed, our meeting with Scott was nearly two hours of unnecessary chatting and repeated paperwork while my 87‑year‑old mother, who hadn't slept in two days, struggled through the process. Things only got worse when the invoice was sent with charges we never requested--twice--and it took multiple calls and two days to get it corrected (thank you to Julie, who was the only helpful person we dealt with). The most devastating failure happened on the day of the burial. Scott assured us he would coordinate with Evergreen Cemetery, but when we arrived, Evergreen had no record of the service. The gravesite wasn't prepared, and my father couldn't be buried. Our grieving family sat in our cars waiting for answers while Scott shrugged and claimed he had called--Evergreen confirmed he had not. After nearly an hour of scrambling to fix paperwork that should have been handled days earlier, it still would have taken another hour before the burial could begin. My elderly mother was too distraught to stay, and we had to leave my father to be buried without any family present. Scott never apologized, never took responsibility, and never followed up. We've always trusted this funeral home, which makes this experience even more painful. No family should ever have to go through what we did.
