Very happy with my drinks and service. I found it really cool to be dark liquor on tap! We didn't stay for long as we were scoping out a few tourist attractions in the area, but I'd recommend this place for a pit stop for drinks. read more

Found this pub in Old Town Stockholm when we went to watch some weekend football matches (European…read morenot American). The pub itself had a good vibe where everyone was friendly and genuinely enjoying themselves. The decor of the pub was a lot of a lot of pub signs and usual things that you would find in a pub. It has a small but pretty cool layout when you could go down some winding stairs and find yourself in another seating area. Because of the pubs popularity and game time it was very packed in the bar area but the bar tender did a good job of attending to everyone. As for the food I enjoyed the fries we had and the vegan burger was alright. As you know my ratings go off of the expectations of how the place rates against similar places so as old school pubs go this was good, but do understand that typical old school pubs aren't well lit, don't have all balanced tables, and great seating in the entire place to enjoy the game. So if you're looking for those things you might want to check out some other places.

Even though the main area where the band sets up is a tight squeeze, it helped us to make friends with locals fast and had a great time. The FREE music is awesome too. I hated the fact that the bartender measured my gin when I asked for a G&T, but what the heck! this is Scandinavia right? I need to pre-game at the hotel next time before going out.

Very spacious and cozy interior, typically British pub but a little brighter and open - and not too loud. Order pub-type food at the bar - burgers, fish n' chips, sandwiches and they bring it to your table. Both the fish n' chips and burgers we had were fresh and tasty, without breaking the bank. I was awed at the cozy pub feel and excellent line up of taps and bottles. The bartender asked what I'd like, and I told her I was looking to try regional IPAs. She took me around one side of the bar to a fridge filled with a great assortment of beers from the area and proceeded to recommend some IPAS from trending breweries. I started with a Dugges High Five IPA that was near perfect. She let me sample a couple other beers and I again took her suggestion and opted for a Zodiak IPA from Omnipollo. It a had a nice hop taste with floral hints which she described perfectly. She was one of the more knowledgeable bartenders I ran across in my search for IPA perfection in Stockholm. The traditional pub ambiance was perfect, it had a nice outdoor seating area, and it was perfectly maintained inside and out. My only regret is that I didn't eat there but instead went to a plce a few blocks over where I didn't have as stellar an experience. Next time, if I'm lucky to be in Stockholm again I'll be back to this place.

We were given a standing table when we got in, but quickly moved to a couple of seats by the bar. We were one of 8 couples at the bar, so yes, very date night vibes. I wasn't expecting much, to be honest. Bottom line: Go to have some beers/wine (avoid cocktails- they don't taste very good and are small for the price), share a combo plate, and move on.
