Please be advised: Do not buy a used vehicle from McLarty Daniel, and do not trust salesman Henry H.! I bought a used vehicle from them with 133k miles. I was told before purchasing the vehicle that it had been throughly inspected. Now three months, 3k miles later I have been told by two independent mechanics that a full engine replacement is needed. Both shops have confirmed that the issues would have been known by any credible shop at time of purchase. This info was not disclosed to me. It turns out McLarty Daniel's definition of "inspected" is just giving it a glance by one of their guys. It was never formally inspected after all despite this being told to me. The car salesman Henry H. assured me several times the tuck had been thoroughly inspected stating that, and I quote verbatim, "we are not CarMart, we wouldn't sale you a bad truck". Lo and behold, catastrophic engine failure in 2k miles... And the final slap to the face, I was also given a free first oil change coupon. My truck didn't even make it half way there. A few months ago, my husband had our GMC truck in for warranty work. He dealt mostly with Ryan in the service department. He was very rude on the phone and noncommittal to solutions on working with the warranty company to get parts and fix the truck. Ryan was very bad about communicating by phone or text to keep us updated on the progress. We had to keep calling back. When I went to pick up the truck, I was going to confront him, as both my husband and I work in service oriented careers and understand the importance of communication, but he disappeared, and I ended up working with another employee. I believe Dan Porter is his supervisor. Employees should be held accountable on how they treat their customers. And when you're in a service oriented job, good communication is a must. Well this review will be a tough one to write. Over the past 18 I have purchased 17 new vehicles from General Motors and 2 from Everett Buick before it became Mclarty Daniels. I have never been so dissatisfied with service from dealer. Started off by me leaving my vehicle and the the courtesy driver dropping me off at home. After they had my vehicle several hours I decided to call and check the status. They tell me that they called me and left a message.. wrong.... They offered to send the courtesy shuttle back after me. I gave them my address which was not relayed accurately to the shuttle driver so needless to say what should have taken 5 minutes. Took 30 minutes. Upon arriving the service tech acknowledged that he did not call the number that was written on the work order. UGH Then I pick up my vehicle which is roughly 13,000 into the warranty to receive a $45 bill to balance tires. I listened to them try to explain the reason for the charge. If I drop my vehicle off for warranty work and the work is not under warranty I feel someone should have called me. To add insult to injury the tech tried to explain that if it had occurred with in the first 12,000 miles it would have been covered. Needless to say I was through by that time. I wanted to pay my bill and leave. I will be driving elsewhere to find service equivalent to service I have received in the past as a GM owner. read more

Brought in my 2017 GMC Sierra, 3 weeks after purchasing from this location. Brought it in for an oil change and asked them to check a couple noises I noticed on a rod trip. 2 Days later they want $1,500 for stuff they should have checked before putting this truck on the lot. Oh and after waiting 2 days with almost no communication from service. I decide to come and wait. Then they come out and say everything is done except the oil change!!!!! Sit here another hour and a half for that. This is a pathetic excuse of a shop. Please never trust McLarty Daniel GMC for sales or service!!! read more

I've had a bad experience since the buyout of Everett (this is about the service dept.)... Since the bad experience it has been pretty good, to be honest. I found a "service adviser" that has made all of the other experiences extremely pleasant. Kyle has been willing to help deal with my warranty company, any complaints or concerns I previously had and my regularly scheduled maintenance. I have yet to attempt to buy a vehicle from the McLarty/Daniel group since I bought a new truck right before the buyout occurred. If you are still using this location I do recommend asking for Kyle. The only complaint I really have at the moment is that they don't have near enough courtesy vehicles to help that amount of customers they have. It really needs to be addressed.... read more

First of all they just bought this dealership from the previous owner but are still using the old web address. So I didn't know that it had changed hands when I made the online reservation. I made an online reservation a week in advance, gave them a detailed description of what I needed done and I asked for one day service because I need my truck for work. I was shocked to find that had changed ownership. That's ok I'll give them a chance. I dropped off my truck and asked if they thought they could get it done in a day. Their response was "we should be able to it". I was sick and I was in the hospital the next day so I couldn't call and check on my truck and the day after was a holiday, no problem. I called today and asked about my truck. I was told be the "service advisor" that he would check and call me right back. I waited two hours with no call back so I went up there to check only to find out that my truck hasn't even been looked at yet. So I politely asked for my truck back and informed them that I will not be back again! Stay away from them at all cost! read more

If you are looking for an honest, knowledgeable mechanic you have to go see Hof. He not only reviewed my concerns he was able to give me detail on things that will need to be done down the road. I ended up not needing any work done and there is nothing better than a mechanic who is honest enough to not push things on you that don't need done. Highly recommend Hof. read more

My wife took our 2016 GMC Canyon in for a check engine light. The people in the service department told her the purge valve was out and the warranty would not cover it because it expired at 36,000 miles and the truck had just over 37,000 miles on it. They gave her a laundry list of things that needed to be done to the tune of $1,200.00. I showed the list to my neighbor who owns a local auto repair shop. He said nothing on the list was necessary for the proper operation of the vehicle. He replaced the purge valve for less than $50.00. After 2 written attempts to the dealership with no response I felt this had to be written. read more

I have a 2014 GMC Sierra truck I bought from Everett Buick GMC [my third vehicle from them.] While I have been fairly happy with the truck, I have been highly disappointed with the terrible way the transmission shifts. I have taken it in to be looked at several times only to be told that's just the way it is. Last week, I called Mr. Russ Daniel who had given me his cell number due to a service issue I had shortly after he bought Everett out. He said call him anytime so I did. So far, no response. I guess I am stuck with a truck that shifts terribly and an owner who apparently could care less. My wife will be looking at Buick SUV's in the near future and based on our recent experience, we will be visiting another dealership. Too bad because when it was Everett Buick GMC, we had excellent service. read more

Horrible experience. The Springdale dealership posted a price online and then increased it while we were looking at the car. I expressed interest in a car in Bentonville and then they refused to negotiate. I was told I was free to take my deposit and leave. Won't be returning. read more

I'm thrilled to write this review because I had a monumentally awful customer service experience at this location. I'm going to bypass the initial confusion of the first part of the experience and chalk it up to good ol' ignorance and carelessness. The real meat and potatoes is what happened when I tried to get my car back after it had been serviced. At this point, over an hour of waiting watching other customers come and go, I decide to approach the woman at the desk near the waiting area and inquire about the status of my oil change. She asks my name, I give it, she responds that there is no vehicle under that name. I point out the window to my vehicle and she insists there is no vehicle under that name. So, I try a different approach, I ask if I may pay for my vehicle's service and be on my way, I can see now that the car has been done for a while and no one bothered to let me know. She declines and says she can't do that, but offers no recourse. I stand there while she looks at me like I'm a mook. I don't know what to do. I attempt to explain again, and she begins insinuating that they won't release the vehicle to me. It is made very clear that she doesn't care about delivering good customer service, they made a mistake and she refused to recognize it. I was never apologized to even once, even after they discovered they had placed the wrong name on my vehicle's service report. I won't be returning, I don't suggest anyone else does either. I didn't do anything wrong, I just stood there and got treated like an idiot. I will contrast this with my visit to my bank just beforehand where they had egregious technical problems and were unable to furnish me with a replacement debit card, but they were pleasant and helpful the entire time. I was more than happy to return the next day for my replacement debit card because they were friendly and helpful and responded to me in kind. Remember, it doesn't take a lot of effort to say "I'm sorry", when you make a mistake. Hopefully someone will learn a lesson from this somewhere... read more

Who charges $1,034.43 to change a starter on a Buick? NO ONE. They quoted me a different price on the phone. When they handed me the invoice when I came to pick up my car I was in shock. We have done business with Everett for over 18 years with nothing but perfect service at a reasonable price and great experience purchasing new vehicles. We will never set foot in this place again even though we are in the market for a new Buick. GM customer complaint department has been notified and because my husband is a GM retiree the union has be notified as well. read more

McLarty Daniels doesn't stack up well versus Everett. I tried to buy a new car last week and was passed from one person to another. I told each one exactly what I wanted and none paid attention to my needs. I finally got down to a final offer which was $599 over what I wanted and they refused deal. The $599 was an extra they wanted to charge me for nitrogen in the tires, wheel locks and leather protectorant. I wanted none of these. Service wise I had a transmission service done and they told me I had an oil leak. Turned out it was transmission fluid they spilled doing the tranny work. I will never do business with them again. read more

This dealership is shady and crooked! They have horrible customer service and I would not recommend anyone go to this car dealership! We went there Saturday evening and first off the salesman would not tell us the asking price of the truck. When he finally told us the price it was about $2000 above the asking price. The salesman told us they had just traded for the truck and they haven't put it out on the lot yet, but when we get home I found it on kbb.com when I went to see what the truck was worth. After weeks of negotiating and several hour drives down to their location I made a deal with Amber the salesperson for 3 new SLT trucks. The day of our appointment she tells me they sold 2 of them. I told her that's fine but find me replacements so we can move forward. She said she was on it so 4 of us loaded up and we all drove down there to make a deal. Once we got there they had several other SLT's that were similar but varied slightly in trim level. She found an exact replacement of one they sold so they got taken care of but the final truck they found a replacement for didn't have a sunroof in it and I said that was fine. They wanted to charge more for this truck because the MSRP was higher even though it didn't have the sunroof. I told her no we would move forward but I wasn't going to pay more for a truck that had less in it. This went on for a few hours until the manager finally comes out and says with an elevated voice "Guy's I'm not playing games here, you can buy one vehicle, you can buy two vehicles, or you can by no vehicles I don't care". He slung our 4 titles on the table with our keys and walked off in a hurry. The four of us and the sales woman all looked at each other in shock at how he just behaved in the middle of the showroom. I personally bought a vehicle from them last year and had a very good experience. Since that time I've mentioned to everyone buying a car about how great of a job they do. Professionally we buy $400,000 - $600,000 every 3 years in new vehicles and now we will never spend another dime with them. I will also be sharing this experience with our 80 employees and on all social media accounts which combined has over 15,000 followers.
