I have a Mercedes Sprinter and after a few run ins with the local dealer I only take my sprinter here. They're honest, very knowledgeable about Sprinters (which isn't easy to find) and friendly. My only issue is that you have to schedule out for repairs and maintenance which can be a pain but it's because their work speaks for itself. read more

My 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS500 broke down on the I-40 in Ozark, AR. This was midway through my trip from Los Angeles to Boston. I had it towed 50 miles off my route to Shuler Autohaus solely because of the reviews I read about them. I was not disappointed. It was a tough day for them because 2 workers called-in and it was busy season. Nonetheless, they were sympathetic of my situation and accommodated me. They did a great job getting me back on the road in time to avoid a big storm. I took my car to Shuler Autohaus on March 30, 2023, due to a warning light coming on my navigation system. I haven't had any car trouble but since the light came on, I wanted to make sure everything was ok. 2 days later I was told I need to replace the shifter module under the center console, they noted on the invoice that it had a drink spilled in the center console area that intruded on electronics. I don't recall that happening. Also, I have a lot of personal items in the car but they didn't note that the console was broken. That's because it wasn't when they were working on it. When I picked my car up on 04/05/2023 after business hours, the first thing I notice was my console was broken. It was a guy locking the gate and I told him about it and came over to look at it and said he would report it the next day. Roger the owner called me back after I called and sent pictures of what my car looked like. It was dirty and the console was broken, he claims it was already broken and he offered to clean the mats. I told Roger, I have proof it wasn't broken, and he is being dishonest. So, I'm not sure if I was changed for a part I didn't need due to the fact that he was dishonest about the console they broke. I have a receipt and pictures that show it was not damaged when I took it there but when I told Roger that he backtracks and now wants to fix my console. This is very upsetting because, at the beginning of the call, he said I was lying and it was damaged but nothing was noted that I had a damaged console, the only thing he said was when he was in the console to have to repair my shifter I had spill soda and a lot of personal items. I don't trust Shuler Autohaus because if he lied about that, what else is he telling people like me. Being dishonest with your customer, I don't trust them to work on my car because they might damage something else in the process and they are not trustworthy. read more

If you are looking for a reputable repair shop that specializes in German automobiles, THIS IS THE PLACE. Mr. Shuler and his employees are so kind and helpful. I brought my car in to Shuler Autohaus to replace a centrifuge cover cap after the dealership quoted me $1800 for the parts and labor. Mr. Shuler had the cover cap I needed and quoted me $705 for the parts and labor AND got it done in a day (dealership said it would be a week for the parts to come in and a few days to complete the service). I will never take my car anywhere else. Give this local shop your business because they do an exceptional job and truly care about the work. read more

This is one of the first honest and upfront mechanics that I've been to. I've been having some big issues with my 2015 Subaru since I purchased it in Spring 2019 and spent over $2,000 at many other shops trying to figure it out in multiple states (I travel for work). No one was willing to admit they didn't know so we played the guessing game for so long and it cost me thousands in faulty repairs. Not only has their service been top notch in every other aspect of my experience with them but when I asked about these issues they not only admitted that they weren't the best choice to figure it out, they also pointed me directly to a person at another shop who has not only found the issue but is also working to get me refunds on the faulty work that has been done to my car. Always nice when you go to a place and tell them you are gonna spend $1000 and they tell you that you only need to spend $500. My point is, when you take a vehicle to the shop and say you think you need a part replaced, it's easy for them to just say "ok" and bill you for it. Schuler won't do that. If it doesn't need replaced they will tell you so. I went in thinking I needed about $2000 worth of work. Instead, they informed me I really only needed about $700 worth of work done. I've dealt with these guys and gals several times and I have yet to be disappointed. They are knowledgeable, honest, fast, and they do good work. I drive a 2005 Winnebago View which is factory built with a Dodge Sprinter 3500 chassis and 2.8 MBZ turbo diesel. I love my RV but have found not everyone is qualified to work on it. They have MBZ engine parts with a Dodge body. Getting the factory parts in some areas are very difficult. Especially travelling cross country or away from home. I was in Arkansas on a 3 month stay in my RV due to my sister cancer dx and stayed until she passed. Right before I was to journey back to California, my engine started losing power on acceleration. I read all the forums which most stated it was a fuel filter. When I called the Sprinter specialist at home for advice, he said not to take to anyone unless they are familiar with Sprinters and have the diagnostic tools to figure out error codes. I was so worried because it is hard to find qualified shop where I was staying. One of the shops in Fort Smith recommended Schuler AutoHaus. I checked Yelp and saw they were highly rated. From my first phone call, I knew I had come to exactly the right place. Schuler's was booking 2 weeks out due to Labor Day weekend. Roger, the owner, was so very kind, he comforted me that he would be able to help me get back home. He kept his word. I had my vehicle back in only 4 days where I expected it to be 2 weeks. Another side to this is most mechanics don't want to work on a Sprinter RV due to heighth restrictions pulling into bay or on lift. Roger treated me and my vehicle equal to all his other customers. Pulling into his shop parking lot, it is very impressive the volume of business they do on mostly MBZ. The shop office is very professional, it is a family owned and run business so you feel the sense of respect and pride they have doing their business. I could write a book on the excellent attributes of this family business. They found my problem which was a cracked air intake hose and not major repair but it felt like it when i was driving it with the problem. I loved the expression, Roger used, in his call to me. He found "the smoking gun". I love that he could explain in such a way that I totally could visualize the problem and what would correct it. I also loved the ease of dropping my vehicle off and picking it up. One of the most amazing things I experienced was that Roger called me about 4 days later to check on me and see how my vehicle was running. It purred, it was such a pleasure driving home with no worry over my vehicle's mechanical soundness. They were so good that I had them do my brakes which had been recommended previously on my last service back at home. I was so close to selling my 2006 Winnebago View which has a 2005 Factory chassis but realized after all of this, it is a gem that I need to hang onto. I just wish I had Roger and his family at Schuler Auto Haus close by to help me with service in the future. They are amazing and great people to be acquainted with. read more

I'm all about good service. My car broke down. I had no one to lend me a car or loan me one so I had to get a rental. I needed a reputable repair place as I am totally new in town and don't know a soul. After some research I called this place and got a very fair quote. They quoted me about a week and called me to come pick up my car in 5 days. YES!!! Way to do business. They were polite, efficient and kept me up to date on my repairs.
