How often does a car purchase end up being one of the best memories of the year? While celebrating a recent birthday, I reflected on the high points of the past 12 months and my visit to Superior GMC Buick immediately brought a smile. The initial search for a new vehicle had been stressful. I spent two days shopping at several north Texas dealerships, being "talked at" by as many as four different salesmen. My son had recently bought a car from Jeff Blake at Superior, and was impressed with Jeff's expertise and service, so he suggested that I fly to Fayetteville for this major purchase. Working with Jeff was an incredibly positive experience! He was fully prepared when I arrived at the dealership and even took the time to help me set up the Buick app. It was a busy Saturday, but he treated me like a valued customer and made sure the interior of my vehicle was in good order before I buckled into the driver's seat. Finance manager Mason Beck took the time to answer all my questions while guiding me through the forms for my loan and necessary taxes. I purchased a vehicle from Superior Buick GMC. Superior sent a check for me to pay the sales taxes, however approximately two weeks after "paying" my sales taxes, I received a letter from the DMV that the check from Superior Buick GMC had BOUNCED! I have called Superior twice. Each time I spoke with someone named Oscar. I told Oscar that the sales tax check Superior sent me had bounced, and that I wanted to speak with someone in the finance department. After putting me on hold for approximately five minutes, Oscar returns and tells me "they" are checking on it and someone would call me to let me know when it was resolved. In other words I did not speak with anyone in the finance department. After not hearing from Superior in over a week, I called Superior a second time only to get Oscar again. This time he put me on hold for about a minute and tells me Superior had paid the DMV "this week". I asked when did they pay the DMV and he said "Monday". I still don't know if the sales taxes have been paid, I am going to call a third time tomorrow (December 4, 2024) to see if I can speak with someone in the finance department who will give me all the information I need to ensure my sales taxes are paid. I have purchased many cars in my life and NEVER have I had a car dealership's sales tax check bounce until I purchased a car from Superior Buick GMC. Poor customer service. read more

I have purchased a few vehicles in my life and honestly left with regret or disgust by the processes at other dealerships and my interactions with the sales/finance departments. I thought that putting up with those behaviors was just the price of doing business in that industry. But my experience with Superior GMC was anything but that! From the very start they were all exceptionally honest, professional, friendly, and understanding. Hayden reached out with a welcoming text after my inquiry and was willing to help from the start. He handed me off to Aaron who was the best salesman I have dealt with. Stand up guy who didn't pressure, listened, and seemed to truly want to work with me to find what my needs/wants were. I went over a couple of days on lunch to test drive and ask questions, never once did I feel like I was inconveniencing them or that they were going to apply pressure to close the deal that day. They let me get through the process on my own timeline and were accommodating the entire way. Aaron seemed to know the truck inside and out and answers to any random question I threw his way. Hayden had friendly follow ups to make sure Aaron was treating me right. Jeb stopped by and held a very casual/friendly conversation which was nice to see that even from they top I felt they do business the right way. Surprisingly the sales process fully met/far exceeded my expectations. Lastly came the finance meeting to close the deal which prior to my purchase at Superior was one of my least favorite aspects of buying a car. Typically you are met with extra pressure on warranties and add ons so I was reluctant when I walked in to meet with Mason. However, similar to everyone else at Superior, my experience was nothing like I had in the past. He was organized, personable, friendly, professional and most importantly did not pressure me to add a bunch of warranties or add ons. He gave his rundown of available options/services and let it go when I didn't express interest. Previously it would feel like a 40 minute high pressure sales time at other dealerships, but Mason made it low stress. As long as this AT4 meets my hopes after the purchase, which I know doubt think it will, I wouldn't think of buying another vehicle from any other dealership. As long as they guys are there at superior then that's where I'm heading. They truly earned by business with their exceptional customer service, professional/friendly attitudes, and the smoothest process I've ever had. Thank you Aaron, Hayden, Jeb, and Mason! The salesman Aaron was great to deal with and the purchase was nice and easy. The problem is I bought a 2020 Gmc Denali and 2 days after got it and said low oil. Contacted Aaron and sent me a picture of maintenance they did on truck and said LOF 85$ guess means labor oil and filter. He said was done a monthe ago. The Manager was driving as demo. I checked oil life and showed 50% life on menu. Either they lied about oil change or someone don't know their job. I had to add 2 1/2 quarts of oil to Truck to get it to register on dipstick. Dont know if who ever did oil IF they thought it was a 5.3 not 6.2 engine but a 6.2 holds more oil. Doesnt matter they should have checked level. Dont buy a used vehicle from them. I am paying to have my oil changed at another dealer since cant trust them. Started checking and engne coolant was low also. Gonna have another dealer check everything out. Gave 2 star to even out review. Give Aaron and sales 5 stars but service 0 stars. read more

We recently purchased a Used Kia Sportage. We love this vehicle! Within two weeks we began having major issues with it. We had purchased a warranty and the staff, especially Hayden Guffy, did a fantastic job of working with us to get them resolved. Their customer service was next level. We paid nothing out of pocket for the repairs and had the car back in just a few days. The warranty has paid for itself and they went above and beyond in making sure every issue was addressed and fixed. This is how good customer care should look. We will be using them again! My husband and I are in the market to buy a couple of vehicles. We've been approved through our credit union for financing we are happy with. One of the vehicles close to the specs we were wanting came in this morning. We juggled kids to go drive it and after asking "okay what do you need from me to buy it?" I moved appointments to do the paperwork immediately. The dealership asked for the rate information so they could "match or beat it" then as we were pulling in to finalize the deal they notified us that we HAD to pay cash or go through their preferred finance company (at almost twice our credit union rate) or forfeit the car to the next two buyers that were there wanting to buy it. I agreed to their price with no haggle at all and when I told them I could pick up a check at the credit union they said that they'd have to wait and see if the buyers that were looking at it now we're going to pass on it. I'd much rather them just shoot straight... bait and switch is the worst! Our credit is perfect and our income is great. Again- already approved for more than we need from the credit union. read more

I originally left a glowing review the day I walked out of the dealership with my new used truck and I've come back to edit it a mere year later. The day I left I was so happy about the little over $20K, 96K mile truck I scooped up from this reputable dealership that I left a 5-star WOOHOO fest on my way out. Well, I'm back to take it all back. Five months from purchase from Superior, it was towed into Superiors shop and I was sold some spark plugs for the issue. No big. (Oh, this is also after they left my truck out in the lot overnight, unlocked, with the keys in it because the person who answered the phone up front, didn't write the "notes" she said she would for the people in the back to inform them my truck was towed in, despite my two calls, and when I called the next day to check on my sweet Betty White, as I've lovingly named my truck, they had no clue what I was talking about or that it was there...but I digress). So, I stopped using their shop and started going back to my own for routine maintenance, which I kept up like a champion, because I love my Betty White. Seven months later despite keeping all that wonderful routine maintenance, the exact same issue pops up so I have it towed from MY mechanic back to Superior's shop as it's the same issue they "fixed" previously and the parts are under warranty, where I'm called and informed the truck I bought from them ONE YEAR AGO and will be paying for til my first born goes to college (hope it's not Harvard, after this broke ass truck), needs 5 to 7 thousand dollars worth of engine work! Because it's not just spark plugs, it never was just spark plugs, it's a bigger ENGINE issue. One we didn't catch the first time it was towed in, which I would even admit, was a fair mistake, I guess. Color me disappointed. I'll just talk to the Service Manager, he'll be reasonable about the issue they missed the first time on this 20K truck they sold me a literal year ago, right? He'll see right on paper that this is the second tow for the same issue, right? Wrong. Talked to the shop manager and he basically told me 'too bad, so sad, "I didn't sell you anything"' over and over. (Apparently if you work in the Service Dept., you can just say, "I didn't sell you anything" over and over again, because you somehow don't represent or work for the same dealership if they put you in the back I guess(?!)) and there was nothing he could do about the fact said truck they sold me said year ago needs a new engine. Oh, that was in between making it sound reasonable that my truck have an issue like this at it's whole 106K miles. Well, then if I should expect engine issues so soon, shouldn't that be factored into the price?! That in only 10K of miles put on it, it would need 7K in engine work and that's just how it goes?! No. Because that's bologna. Not even Oscar Meyer, but like, the generic brand bologna. Also, he was a big fan of "there was no way to know", about the problem, too. Despite the fact there was a way to know. On the paperwork in front of him. Towed in for issue A on Date A, Towed in AGAIN for issue A on Date B, only now, it's not covered under warranty. Maybe I'm asking too much. This was my experience, folks, and when I buy a new car next year to replace the other of our older ones, I won't go anywhere near here. read more

Got me in on short notice and provided me with transportation to and from a nearby Drs appointment while they serviced my vehicle. In addition to my requested serviced they also corrected a faulty tire pressure sensor that was driving me crazy. That was a pleasant surprise. read more

We bought a certified car from Superior and just one week later the battery was bad and when we checked the battery it was over 6 years old and would only hold 170 amps after a charging it was suppose to have 550 amps. We called superior and they said that it was checked and was good and offered to sell me a battery for $220 and give me 1/2 off. This is your Certified car policy. I went to Wal-Mart and got the same battery that was in the car for $93. I will never shop at Superior again. This salesman was trying to help but the manager needs a new job. read more

2 star only because I do love the SUV I purchased from this car dealership. But AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. First, the sale rep was ok, but he informed us we could pay in full cash and on a debit, so we continued shopping, this was a Saturday. Once we made our decision to purchase we got sent to a room with the most unfriendly, rude, zero people skills person to close the deal. We had half in cash and as the sale man directed us we could pay the remainder on debit, once we get to this rude closing guy he says "that is wrong wrong wrong", apparently they don't like cash Or debit and what were we thinking. This closing person ruin my experience purchasing my new SUV, he tried his hardest to get us to finance when we wanted to pay in full, he then pushed the extended warranty on us and the car is still covered another 5,000 miles. He was beyond rude and needs to not be in the closing position. We spent a lot of money with this place only to leave feeling upset and angry at how he treated us. I will never go back to this place and would NEVER recommend it unless I was certain this closing man was no longer there. read more

My salesperson Antwuan exceeded my expectations, accommodating me in many ways since I was a out of state buyer, and I would say overall my customer service experience was excellent. He advised me through the whole process returning my calls(very punctual) to the day he picked me up from the airport. I found out the spare keys for the car I ended up buying was still with the previous owner but nevertheless he received the keys back as promised! My previous service visit was horrible. When we purchased the vehicle we were told that we would receive 2 oil changes courtesy of gm. However superior gmc didn't honor it. I had to drive to betonville and service my truck at Everett gmc. There was also a recall on my truck which was never metioned to me. I belief when there is a recall on such a delicate issue as air bags not deploying should of been handled with priority. I will not be going back there for any service after this past week's. I went in for a oil change and was never aware of other fluids being added without my consent. Service representative should do a better job on letting the customer know what is being done to their vehicle and not just toss them a bill. read more
