He closed on his home in October of 2022, moved in and started enjoying his new home. Unfortunately he ran into a situation this year (2023) that caused him to need to sell after only about 6 short months, we put his home on the market and received an offer. There were a few small items that needed repair and the buyer also had some questions that required a rather detailed response. She was finding conflicting information from various sources and it looked like the deal was in jeopardy of not moving forward. Thomas took care of the warranty items quickly, even returned to the home twice in one day rather than pushing it off to a different day. He was also super helpful providing information to address the buyer's concerns and was able to help her feel comfortable moving forward with the purchase. It's not very common to find people like Thomas, he is an incredible asset for the Hayden Homes team. We are grateful he was the one assigned to us and so thankful that he cared enough to go way out of his way and make sure he did everything he could to help us. These are not minor cosmetic concerns--these are serious, costly problems that no homeowner should be facing in such a new house. When we reached out, Haden Homes repeatedly told us it was "just the house settling" and insisted it wasn't their responsibility to fix. That's unacceptable. Settling does not cause widespread floor failure, plumbing issues, and furnace problems. These point to poor workmanship and low-quality construction. The worst part? They've done nothing to resolve any of it. We've been left with unsafe, unreliable systems and expensive repairs, while Haden Homes refuses to take accountability. If you're considering buying from them, please reconsider. Buyers deserve to know what we've experienced: a company that will happily take your money but disappear when real problems arise. Save yourself the frustration--we wish we had chosen differently.
