My car's trunk was locked, the key wasn't working, and I couldn't get it open by going through the backseats, which were also locked, from the inside of the trunk. They got the trunk unlocked in about 15 minutes. Not only that, they fixed my fob which was randomly unlocking all of the doors leaving me in an unsafe state, unless I pulled my fob's battery. They opened my fob to reveal some time of corrosion around the buttons' inners. They cleaned it up from the inside. The unlock button was basically getting stuck but it couldn't be known just looking at the small rubber button. They saved me the trouble of buying a brand new $70 fob. All this for $45. I called this business after reading their reviews on Yelp .. and my 2* rating says it all. "Meh, I've experienced better". In fact, we did experience better by using a locksmith we found on Google - Lock's King. Let me give the details of my rating, because truthfully I would have gone with a 1*, but I hated to do that even though I think it's applicable. I had purchased a secondary key fob for our vehicle and needed a locksmith to cut the key. In a case like this, your usual key-cutters will not do it because the key has a transponder chip in it. You either have to have the dealer OR a locksmith handle it. Apparently, McMahon's did not feel confident in their ability to perform this work. The woman who answered the phone was very curt and abrupt, anything but pleasant and courteous. When I explained to her the situation, she stated that she would not do it because she wanted me to purchase one of the keys that she would provide. I was willing to pay for the work, the service fee, etc. .. but, I already had a key in hand and did not need to buy her merchandise. I only needed expertise in handling this particular key. I even asked her if she could recommend someone who would cut a key that was already purchased and she refused to recommend anyone else. She simply restated that she could provide me one of her keys, so I let it go. Needless to say, it seems as if it was for the best because we ended up with our key professionally cut and programmed by another locksmith and it works great.
