Im not even sure where to start. When I was locked out of my house I wanted to find a reputable locksmith. I saw that IBS had a 5 star rating but figured they are going to be VERY expensive as it was an emergency. I was informed it would be $89 and that they would be there in 20 minutes. Thinking this was the charge to "come out" and depending on how much time the job took that this would be an additional billing charge. This was not the case. My entire job despite being more difficult than normal was still only billed at $89!!! Now let me talk about the person who did my job. An attractive young lady named LARISSA pulled into my driveway. I kind of chucked because she doesnt resemble who I thought was coming to get me into my home again. Let me tell you, LARISSA's work was amazing!!! She unfortunately had to drill through my lock. When she started to run into some problems because the lock was a difficult one, most technicians would become frustrated. Not LARISSA! She just became more determined. She was holding a grinder steadily in one hand while her other hand held another part of the lock so she could cut the lock screw. It made me so nervous as I would have easily cut my hand off trying to work in such a small area. Larissa knew EXACTLY what she was doing!!!! The reason I was most satisfied with IBS was not only the very reasonable $89 charge but because I had just minutes earlier installed an electronic WYZE lock ($150) on the back end of the deadbolt. This lock has a setting I didnt get a chance to change, which automatically locks the door a minute after you close it. I had asked LARISSA to try and not damage the expensive electronic lock on the back end of the door. Most technicians would probably have disregarded what I even said and just went about their business in order to make the job less difficult. Not LARISSA...she saved my electronic WYZE lock!! Do yourself a favor and call IBS Locksmith. When you do, ask for LARISSA!!!! You wont be disappointed! read more

I can not say enough great things about this company. My son and I were cleaning this house that I am listing, and my son accidentally locked us out. I called, they took my information, told me that a tech would be calling me shortly, and to stay near my phone. I don't believe it was even 5 minutes before I got a call back from the tech. He told me it would be about an hour because of travel time, he had one job ahead of me, and he would call me when he was on his way. Luckily that job didn't take too long and he was to me within a half hour. Unfortunately, the front door was tricky and so we tried another door which got unlocked but had a deadbolt, and on the third door he was able to get us in. Michael was nice and funny, and even when he had to be getting frustrated ( I know I would have) he just kept trying without complaint. Poor guy whatever time he saved on his previous job seemed to have gotten added to mine. When I made that comment to him he just said "No worries! Every lock is a puzzle." We just purchased a new home and wanted to get the locks re-keyed for security. We sent a message literally just a few hours ago to see the cost and when they could come and do it. The owner got back to me right away to say they could do it today if we wanted, and had Larissa come out an hour later. She was absolutely amazing! She re-keyed 16 locks in a matter of an hour or so, and had such a friendly and welcoming personality, even at the very end of her work day. Probably the friendliest person we've dealt with so far within the new home process with vendors, honestly! The whole job from imitial contact for a price to completion of it all the was done within hours. Could not recommend this company enough, amazing job and great customer service. Izak was great. He showed up on time , explained me what the problem was and communicated what he was doing throughout the process to fix it. He quickly replaced my faulty door knob and was friendly the whole time. He also took the time to fix other things wrong with my door/lock setup that he saw wasn't perfect and did so as a courtesy.
