We had used Dr. Carpet many years ago, and since our house is WAY off the beaten path, it's hard to find someone to come out for service. I could tell right away they had their act together. The dispatcher asked great questions like "can we find your house on a nav system", and "do you have cell service at your house". (Yes, and no.) Most people don't think to ask those questions, which can cause a lot of headaches. Also they called to confirm the night before--very thoughtful because I had completely forgotten! The technicians (Mike and Dean) were right on time, wearing masks and gloves, as well as shoe coverings. They worked around my home-office meeting schedule so I didn't have to worry about noise during critical parts where I needed to be speaking to my coworkers. I couldn't believe the stuff they found in my air ducts! (Pictured below, NOT including the dead mouse.) They also showed me pictures of the insides of my ducts, including a few areas that need replacing (they don't do that kind of work, but it's great to know, I would have never thought about that). And finally they made some suggestions about replacing my air filters in a few weeks. I appreciated that they never once tried to upsell me on anything. The total charge was exactly as quoted. Overall my experience was professional, friendly and helpful, I would definitely use them again.

If my husband wouldn't have been home I wouldn't have let him in. He wore dirty clothes and walked around in dirty socks with huge holes. I doubt he showered before he came out and sweated the entire time. Every time I went to check on him, he was on his phone with either his granddaughter or changing the music he was listening to. Jim had done the quote for both of our tile bathrooms and for new caulking in the shower. The worker spent more time trying to talk me out of the caulking and saying wanted to set up grout work with another company he knew. A three hour job turned into 6 hours, we never say the worker bring in any equipment to 'steam clean' with and when I asked he said they only give me these yellow rags and product. When I asked him about their cleaning product that Jim had mentioned, he told me to just buy some hydrogen peroxide and mix it with some dish soap as that is pretty much what the cleaner is. I highly doubt that he did much of anything. I was so disappointed with the service that i didn't want them back in our house even to look at the crap work but after 11 months and our tile shower looking poorly I finally called and asked them to come out. Warranty...what a joke! The estimator that came out was happy to tell me that they don't warranty caulking but would happily send me a quote for redoing the job for $125 "even though it shouldn't look that way in less than a year" was his comment. He also conveniently didn't have their wonderful product to clean with to see if it would help any, but more than happy to ship me a bottle for $30.

My family ran a dry cleaning, carpet & upholstery cleaning service on Hawthorne since the 1940's all the way up until about 7-8 years ago I think. They sold the franchise to another SR/JR duo and it continued to be a family owned business, just not my family.... However my family does still own the property. Covid hit COIT hard and the new franchise owners decided to move to a smaller location. The Hawthorne building sat vacant for a year before I helped my dad renovate and get a new lease in there. I don't know where COIT operates from now but it's not on Hawthorne. I also will note that if someone recommended you to COIT, verify when they used the company cause if it's been over 10 years it simply isn't the same at all and based on these newer reviews it would appear it's not going well... Oh one last thing, if you're missing drapes or rugs from before May there's a chance they're still on Hawthorne.... You can stop by and check ?!

Day-before I never get a call, so I call back day-of my scheduled appointment and office staff was very apologetic, says they'll send an email asap to their onsite crew to give me a 30-min heads up. Never received the call from onsite crew - complete no-call-no-show. So I call back and talk to another friendly, apologetic office person, who schedules another appointment another week out. Exact. Same. Experience. No call day-before, called back and left voicemail with office, still no-call-no-show day of. Super unimpressed with the follow through on actually sending the person to do the work (or the communication that something needs to be rescheduled, that would have been fine and much appreciated).

Boards started cracking. They kept sending out the installer to replace the cracked boards with leftover material we had from the original install. But it continued to happen. Finally, they reached out to the manufacturer who sent their own inspector out to determine what the cause was. Before this inspector came out though Jeff, the head of Cherry City sent the original installer back out to my house to make some adjustments and create gaps in the installl so it was altered before the manufacturer showed up. After they came back with their report determining it was a bad install, Jeff said that he disagreed with it. Ultimately, they didn't take care of it and we have a cracked floor in multiple places. Avoid this place at all cost. They are terrible and Jeff is a total piece of garbage.
