A-1 taxi is our new go-to taxi service…read more Taking frequent international trips necessitates reliable transportation to the airport. We've tried them all in Nashville, but we've finally found the most reliable, punctual, friendly taxi service. The A-1 driver was early, patiently waiting for our family to gather our belongings, alerting us to his presence and giving us all the time we needed. He efficiently navigated morning rush hour and dropped us off at the airport in plenty of time. The van was noticeably in much better condition than other transportation services. Yes, most airport transportation is the same with very little variation, but there is something special about A-1 that has made us customers for life.

We were driving our 21-year-old Hummer H2, pulling a 24' travel trailer on what has been described as our last adventure. The husband-and-wife campground managers, Pam and Sam went out of the way to help us diagnose the mechanical problem with the Hummer's shift cable. They contacted the owner of the facility and apprised her of our situation, and she suggested that we spend the night in one of cabins for the night as opposed to spending the night in the trailer without being hooked up to sewer, water and electricity. We gladly accepted the offer to spend the night in the air-conditioned cabin. Pam personally moved our overnight belongings in their car to the cabin and Sam came back in the morning to assist us in finding a repair facility for our vehicle. We were humbled by Pam and Sam's overwhelming willingness to help us. Obviously, we were out of our comfort zone and a little rattled by the break down. We were assured that everything would be better the next day. The following morning Sam was available when the wrecker came to get our vehicle. Sam assured me that the repair facility was very competent and had worked on his vehicles in the past which was some comfort in this situation. We would highly recommend Nashville I-24 Campground to everyone. The staff is amazing down-to-earth people and the owner went above and beyond to make us feel at home in a friendly and caring environment Sincerely, Alan DeLee

But our campsite was very small and felt like we were camping in a parking lot. They gave us one of the "buddy sites "where we were facing the front of another RV. We had no fire ring and no picnic table. We met friends for dinner and so didn't spend the evening at the campsite, but if we had wanted to, we would've had nowhere to sit outside. Would not recommend.

Friendliness and tastes at the Savory Spice store brought both history and such a variety of BBQ spices along with a nice parting gift. :) Triple Crown Bakery can't be beat for the sweets and the service. There is always something new at the "Gallery 202" to see. The time was relaxing and the conversation flowed so nicely we couldn't believe it when we our time came to an end, even a bit overtime, but we were having so much FUN. I have your best in Mind... just obey me and check it out.

The property is absolutely beautiful!! Unfortunately, the owners...not so much…read more Stayed at the cottages for a bachelorette party. As soon as Samantha learned it would be a bachelorette party she had apparently made her mind up about not giving us our deposit back. She was incredibly rude, hostile and unprofessional. Let me also add that it was a party of mid-30s to 40 year old mothers...not a bunch of 20 something's looking to rage. We were accused of damaging property which couldn't be farther from the truth. Apparently Sam noted calcifications on the stove top, and if you know anything about chemistry you would know that calcifications don't happen in the 72 hours that we were there. Also accused us of bringing in sand and leaves...leaves maybe from our shoes but it was not intentional. but were never in contact with any sand. Our group was quite respectful of the beautiful property, and it's a shame that the owner is a miserable person. The porch was by far our favorite, having coffee out there each morning. We were so excited for this location and we discussed making it an annual trip as we loved this location. But honestly probably not unless we get an apology for the treatment we received and obviously our deposit back. The owner refuses to show time stamped photos to her claims to prove we in fact caused the damages she is claiming we causes. Please also note the house sleeps 10 people. We had 10 people. Each day we took out a bag of trash. Yes we did accumulate a lot of trash as we cooked and ate at the house. But all our trash was cleaned up and put in the location specified. It's very sad cause we are not people who would EVER disrespect a property. We have morals and values!
