Quality of product extremely poor. After waiting months for arrival and installation (late…read moresummer/early fall 2021), our fence was installed. We were told there would be a final inspection prior to final payment. Tomblin did not come to inspect but instructed the crew to collect final payment. My husband and I inspected the fence the next day. The fence had many already rusted places and chipped areas that would need to be painted. After many attempts to reach Tomblin (only after making the comment 'they had our money so I guess customer service isn't important' did they respond), they returned our call. Again time passed and Tomblin made no effort to make our fence right. We finally were able to get them to agree to come in spring of 2022 since by then the weather had already turned cold. They came May 17, 2022 but did not finish. When they returned the next day it was forecast to rain so we preferred to reschedule. We have not heard from them since. It's been 10-1/2 wks! In the original installation, the crew was short a cap for one of the upright rails. We asked for a cap and the crew assured us they would get one. We have yet to see the cap or hear from Tomblin. Our fence cost nearly $10,000. They have our money but we do NOT have a completed product for our money. We are NOT satisfied customers. We do NOT recommend Tomblin if you want a quality product for your money. Customer service is non-existent. Tomblin does not return calls and does not make good on their product.

Superior was the company most people that used McNeil went to for fencing. So I gave them a try and was more than pleasantly surprised. They did a great job. So happy. Please share so others can make an informed decision…read more Based on our experience, I would not recommend Michael Vaughn's fencing company from Clay County. My elderly mother hired him to install a fence, and I believe he took advantage of her. The quality of the work was unacceptable, and after inspecting it, we had to hire another contractor to complete and correct the job. The contractor told us it was one of the worst fence installations he had seen. Among the issues we found were large gaps between the fence boards, screws that were barely attached to the fence posts, several posts that were not set in concrete, and screws that were not rated for use with pressure-treated lumber. These problems raised serious concerns about the fence's structural integrity and its ability to withstand the weather. Additionally, while cutting the boards, the crew used my fence post as a cutting surface. I had just finished painting it, and they damaged the finish so it would no longer properly seal or protect the wood. There are now large inch-deep gashes running down the post, which defeats the purpose of protecting it from the elements. It was careless, shoddy, and lazy work. We also discovered that we were short more than 50 fence boards and did not receive enough screws to complete the project. The screws that were provided were the wrong type for the job. When I brought these concerns to Michael Vaughn and asked him to correct the problems, he refused to make the necessary repairs, walked off the job, and left the project unfinished. He then told my elderly mother that if she did not pay him, he would sue her, despite the condition the work was left in. As a result, we had to pay another contractor to fix and finish the fence. I will be posting photos so everyone can see the workmanship for themselves. This post reflects our personal experience, and I hope it helps others make an informed decision before hiring this company. This guy is a lying saying that they were almost finished with fence they only had 2 panel's up and they were cracked and she asked him if she could change it and he said sure and she paid him for that job. I never talked to any of his guys accept for the Forman because he was never around and I have every right to question there work when it's not done properly. My parents lost alot of money and if they say they lost money it's because they don't know how to quote a job and they also voided the contract when they quit. Also they said they lost jobs is not our fault we can't control the weather. The pictures speak for themselves. All in all crappie and lazy work.

The first time it exercised it was fine. The second time it gave me a fuel fault and after restating it with the help of Generac I had a larger gas meter installed. On May 24 it faulted again with the same code. I called this company and they couldn't help with service because the only tech was off with persona reasons. tell me when it would be serviced. A week later a girl from the company called me and said she had no idea when they could get out here to fix the problem ! I have called a new service company. They will be out on the 6th of this month to repair the issue and take over servicing my unit. This company is USELESS after the sale.
