I called up Alford days after my install because I had water coming up through the valve they installed on the system. To say the least, I was stressed about it. Alford sent over a young man named Jason Berry to check it out and he very quickly determined that some gravel around the valve was blocking the flow of water. He cleared out the gravel and then tested the system with my garden hose and water started immediately flowing into my sump pit! Problem solved! Stress over! Thank you Jason for a job well done!

I was quoted a couple of packages in the $28-$31k range, was offered a $3k discount if I signed that day. I was not going to do that. I mentioned other issues that were contributing factors and mentioned multiple stages. He mentioned fees for multiple visits; he wasn't sure He left after telling me that I would hear from the Account Manager soon. I then began addressing the main cause of the issues in the crawlspace - the gutters. I did also get another quote on the first part of the job - the cleanup - and contracted for that based on $$. At various times I received form E-Mails from my Account Manager asking if I was ready to get started on my project. So, on April 22nd, I responded to one of the E-Mails. I outlined what was being done on my project, the timeline, what still needed to be done, and offered them the opportunity to quote on what was left. I got crickets; no response. Today I got the same form E-Mail. I am going to unsubscribe. (And yes, I could have called, but I don't do phone well.) I suspect the work would have been top notch, but this left me - personally - feeling like no one cared about my house and it's REAL issues. What I found was layers of dust ,my walls were streaked, the shower hadn't hadn't been cleaned, my kitchen cabinets were still dirty, the oven exterior was sill dirty and I think one of worst things that happened was when they left Ashley said her friend had spilled a bottle of Pine-Sol and they had cleaned it up. They didn't! They wiped it up, but it had so much cleaner on it the floor was streaked and sticky. Now for some advise. In the beginning I was quoted a price. Jerrod said he could do the job and would be on the way as soon as he picked up a new water heater. I didn't realize Jerrod was located in Kanawha County and my rental was in Raleigh County but Jerrod showed up and completed the work. As it turned out, he had to make another trip to swap water heaters do to space limitations. He also had to remove a door frame to get the new one installed which he did and replaced and repaired the door frame as well. Jerrod is very service oriented and is very professional and courteous.
