McPartlon Roofing replaced two rooftop decks that were going to be covered over with composite decking. They showed up early in the morning and worked diligently for two days to get the job done. It was such a pristine job, you could eat on these finished rooftops. The most amazing result to me is the drainage. Unlike the previous roofs, these drain quickly and completely with not one wet spot that pools water. I am so appreciative of the rapid expert job they performed. McPartlon Roofing has done a terrible job on my roof. First off, the company is very non-responsive. Then, although you may have an expensive maintenance contract with them, they can never schedule your annual inspection until after the winter snows. They have been to my home on several occasions, and each time they fail to identify and correct the source of leaking. I have incurred several thousand dollars in repair bills as the result of their negligebt work. I suggest you carefully consider estimates and reviews of other roofers before spending your money with this very expensive roofer. read more

we were grateful that they would come to Taos and re-roof our condominiums, as it was very difficult to find a roofing company to do the work. After a few false starts due to scheduling and illnesses, the project was finished in time for the snow season. However, we've been quite unsatisfied with the follow up, as we still have some leaking issues around the edges of the roof and the sides of the buildings. We cannot get anyone to return our calls or emails now, and this is very frustrating! This was a large commercial project, involving numerous owners, and we are concerned that the warranty on this work is going to mean nothing going into the future. read more

We used to be a fan, but after calling since June and getting no call backs despite promises, we give up!!! McPartlon has become just another Santa Fe story and not to be relied on. Their pricing is higher than other companies offering the exact same service and products, but there is no reason to pay it anymore when they lack integrity and most importantly are no longer available. Time to either change management or close up shop. Your daily ads in the newspapers underscore what you were and not who you are. There are no excuses in business and hiding behind COVID IS AN EXCUSE. Homeowners need help; workers need jobs. Obviously, you cannot help either, let alone return phone calls. This company is the most expensive but their workmanship and materials are the same as other much less expensive roofers. Their estimate was DOUBLE several other estimates we received. Also, neighbors who used them had leaks within one year. Would never use them! read more

Buyer beware! These guys just want to take your money and do poor work. I should have guessed that when their contract said they could neither be held responsible for poor workmanship or property damage, both of which occurred in my case. I agree with other reviews that say the only time they got good "customer service" was when they wanted payment. I put customer service in quotes, because there was none. They shirked all responsibility for making my roof leaks worse and for causing my garage roof to collapse. I have no idea how they got Best of Santa Fe except that they must have paid friends and family members to stuff the ballot box. I also feel like they have me the, "you are too poor and live in too much of a working class neighborhood to be treated with dignity and respect", treatment. McPartlon today hit a new low or bad service in my lifetime. The monsoon has begun in force in NM, and on Friday July 3 I noticed a leak coming down a wall in a bedroom. I called McPartlon, who had done work for the prior owner, and they agreed to come at 10:30 today, July 7. At 10:35 I called and was told that the person coming would be 1/2 an hour late. No problem. 15 minutes later the office called and said that the service person could not come until next Wednesday, July 14. Readers, we are talking about a person's home here and a grave, expensive threat to it by a continual leak. Strong chances of rain are predicted for each day in the coming week. Fortunately, I had a step ladder and was able to scale a near by wall and hoist myself up on the roof. At 78 years old, this involves some peril. I found the likely leak exactly where a tape measure told me it might be. After a quick trip to Lowe's, I was able to patch the presumed leak. Keeping fingers crossed. Do NOT use these people. read more

McPartlon replaced the roof of my house and did excellent work, I have been living in the house for 2 months now and the technique used to make the roof has kept it very cool now that it is late Spring, it can be 87 degrees outside and I am wearing long sleeves inside because it is a bit chilly. I will not need air conditioning this summer with such a well insulated roof. Their team was skilled, always on time, pleasant, and responsive. It was easy for me to communicate my concerns and they took them into considerations while planning this roof replacement. I highly recommend McPartlon. read more

Well, I called about a month ago to get some repair work done on a roof for my rental property. I left a message and received a call back and set up an appointment for three weeks or so later. The estimator never showed on the day he was supposed to come out. I called the office twice on that day to find out what happened. Two different people promised a return call with an explanation as to why he didn't come out. I did not receive a return call, an apology or a visit from the estimator. I will not reschedule nor ever call this company again. read more

McPartlon replaced two roof sections for us this past week. My husband and I were extremely pleased with the work done. A six person crew did the work and all of these crew members worked diligently and efficiently to get our job done in the promised amount of time. Quality control was checked daily by the estimator Matt and overall supervisor Angel; in addition we had complete confidence in the site foreman Ramon who was in charge of the work. One of the re-roofed areas was over a 28 year old cove plaster ceiling; no damage occurred because the roofers knew it was there and were careful. Our property was left clean. This was one of the least stressful major projects I have been through because it was apparent that everyone involved knew what they were doing and enjoyed their work as well. Our job also came in under budget. Matt gave us an estimate that covered the worst case scenario, breaking it down so that we understood what parts would absolutely be required and what could not be determined until the demo was done. I'd rather have it that way than to find out after the roof is off that underlying layers may also need replacing. I highly recommend this business. One reviewer mentioned congestion by workers' cars. This was not a problem in my case due to lower neighborhood density and private roads. I had to ask the workers to repark their cars due to neighborhood restrictions but got absolutely no pushback at all. I would say if your house is in an in-town close together neighborhood, to discuss worker parking plans in advance of the job to avoid issues with the neighbors. read more

These workers have no respect for other people when they are working on a roof in a neighborhood. They bring about 20 cars and block people's driveways and the workers are very rude and disrespectful . They act if you are annoying them when you ask them to move the stuff away from your driveway. read more

I continue to be impressed with Brian's company and workers. So frequently I have clients who feel that they were gouged with a company's inspection and subsequent work. While these guys aren't inexpensive, they're fair and very thorough. I had a recent inspection on a luxury home where the inspector was determined to say the roof had to be replaced. Brian could have made a bundle on a new roof. Instead he and a foreman looked at the roof and reassured my buyers, saving the deal and saving my clients a lot of $$$. A nightmare from beginning to end. Roof work resulted in living room leaks over the TV and AV equipment. The company dragged its feet for months (about 3-4) before coming to see the leaks after being paid. Once there, they company said they were not responsible because leaks were the result of the next door unit's roof.This is a town home structure. Had to hire a separate contractor to meet with us and McPartlon to identify the cause of the leaks. Finally agreed to correct it. The re-roof resulted in having to remove an exterior deck to access the roof. The workers used interior nails and a few years later the nails started to rust. Made an appointment with them and no one showed up. More calls to the office before a response was received. McPartlon avoided responsibility stating the deck was improperly sealed and that was the cause of the rusting. The deck has been sealed for the past 14 years with the same seal. We received confirmation from two other sources that interior nails were used. The most unpleasant service experience to date in Santa Fe. read more
