It's odd that only two of the reviews for this service are shown... Anyway, I live on a military base and had them deliver fire wood to me about a month ago. They will be here again tomorrow to deliver more and to give me an estimate on some red mulch for my front yard (the base only uses brown.) They were very professional, I paid the price they have on their website for a 4x8 stack. I would not have paid anything but had the price magically changed en route to my house - but it did not. Personally I really don't see the problem here? Unless things have changed dramatically since 2016 for the better I highly recommend these folks for fire wood delivery. I would highly recommend Gary and his crew for your Tree Removal Service. They took down quite a few very large trees & their work is done with precision and care. Normally I would worry about the people doing work such as this but I wasn't nervous at all because if you watch them you see how professional they are. It was cool to watch. I see people complaining about price gouging and the fact that they sell wood. Oh My, what did the Police say! :) They do not pressure you to haul away the wood it is your call. I personally use Firewood but have no way to cut it into pieces nor to split the wood, I would not want the logs just left lying in my yard. I would much rather someone tell me if one of my trees had issues and could possibly fall on my house or neighbors. The decision is left up to you if you want to remove the possible hazard or not. June 2016 Very bad experience with Mc Peak tree Service. Quotes a price then during tree trimming identified questionable problems. Claimed tree posed a 'danger'; would fall unless removed. The approach can be compared to 'fraudulent' auto repair. You go for an oil change, the mechanic is under the hood, claims the timing belt is frayed, must be replaced or engine will be damaged. In my situation, price doubled. In sum Mc Peak is a price gouger. Buyer beware! read more

I saw this crew up in a tree using ropes, and they seemed like they were competent. However, when they arrived at my house, all work was done off of ladders. Very dangerous! Not all of the work was done. They said they would return in 2 weeks to finish, and never returned, or even called. I had to help clear brush!! Not recommended! read more
