Once he installed the new tank and lines, he spread the dirt just enough to cover the area. All the big branches he knocked down in the process, he tossed onto the back of my property. He didn't fill correctly as parts of the yard are now caving in. He also didn't smooth the site, reseed and cover with straw. It will cost me hundreds to clean it all up.

Find our tank because our county had no records and we've not lived there long at all and bought the house from our mother. B. We needed our repair. Here's how ward brothers handled the situation. They diagnosed our problem, which was a maple tree that had grown through the old pipes. Our house was built in 1940, keep in mind. They poked around for not one day, two, but three days and not one, two, or three employees but three and the owners to try and find our tank to assess further damage. They then found two old tanks, original to the home, that were dry. Doesn't seem like a problem right? Well on that third day they brought out an excavator to uproot the tree and replace the old piping. They told us they would uproot the tree for free, which they later charged us for, and replace the pipe. So in replacing the old piping, they managed to completely tear up our yard, place new piping and then tell us we need an entire new septic system which would cost us $8000. Absolutely obsurd when the same company installed 3 new tanks for a business for just a few thousand more. Upon this news several people left to get supplies and the only honest employee told me that the brothers, THE OWNERS OF THE COMPANY, wanted to leave our open septic system until another day and not even finish repiping the system COMPLETELY! Which we paid over $800 for. And to top everything off, had they looked 3 more feet to the right of where there looked for the tank to begin with, they would have found our septic tank. And to add insult to injury several employees left garbage laying in our yard and stole our shovel and seemed to laugh the entire way through this process. I would NEVER recommend these guys to anyone. Why we were cheated and treated so poorly is beyond me. But thanks for the inconvenience. Oh and did mention that when we actually had a reputable company come assess their shoddy work, they had done a shoddy job. Wow.

I discovered a pinhole leak in an old copper pipe on a Friday night at 8 pm. All that needed to be done was cut out the bad section of pipe and replace it. The heater itself was fine and did not come into play. I found Acme online and contacted them. They called back Monday, arrived at 3:09, showed me an estimate of $303.11, which I thought was extremely high for the work required but agreed to. They admitted that "most" of it was labor (and didn't give a breakdown). It was labeled TOTAL with no other information on the tablet I was asked to sign. Here's the breakdown of what I was actually charged: $283.94 Repair 39.00 "All Day" service fee 21.80 taxes $344.74 "real" total, not the other "total". Note that there is no breakdown of labor and materials on the invoice itself either. They were gone by 4:09. I was shocked to find later that they'd added their $39 "service call" in addition to over $300 for what should have been 15 minutes' work even for one person, let alone two grown men. (See pictures.) I contacted them two days ago asking if they could waive the fee, and they have not responded. Do yourselves a favor and find a plumber who charges for his/her time and materials instead of by what some "app" says.
