We recently bought an electric car and needed to install a Level 2 Charger in our garage. To us the…read morework was very challenging because our electric box is far from our garage. However, when Grounded Electric came to give us a quote, they very quickly determined how to do the job and made as feel secure that they knew how to get it done and how to do it well. And it was so! On the date of the appointment, the crew came to our house on time, they were very polite, and fast. They did a very clean and professional job connecting and concealing cables, opening almost invisible wholes where needed, and perfectly installing the charger, which has worked perfectly fine since it was installed. On top of everything, the owner of the company came to evaluate his crew's ' work, and discovered that the job required less materials than they calculated, thus giving us a discount over the original quote. Quality work from Quality people and a Great Experience Overall…read moreIt is truly my pleasure to share with everyone the positive experience that I had working with Epperson Electric. This is a family business and I feel honored to have at minimum meet Brian and his wife plus a few of their children but they have such a great story that you can get an idea of on their website and I hope others get to meet them as well. So for my project, the positive experience started from my first interaction with Epperson Electric when I went on Yelp (I also checked out their website) and asked for a quote, the response was very quick and we meet Brian, the owner, within a couple days where he walked me through the estimation, how the project would unfold and asked what I wanted plus gave me options to several things, it was very interactive experience. The estimate was very reasonable for the size of the project and I could tell that this was not "just another project" to Brian, but that he is passionate about quality of his work and this is very aligned to my own ideas and expectations. The work that Brian did was exceptional, because he didn't just wire my shop and dig a trench and lay the pipe for the hookup to the transformer, but he paid attention to the little details that you only really notice if quality of work is important to you like, straight wire runs even when no one else will see them, all the new boxes were perfectly level, the existing light fixtures being reworked and the wires were nicely zip tied and look clean, the 240' trench was perfect even though our water company's spray marks for their lines were 9' off where they marked and caused issues but everything went as planned with high quality craftmanship. I don't know if I have effectively communicated in words to everyone just how impressed I am with Epperson Electric, Brian, and his quality of work and knowledge but I will say that I will never use anyone else for any of my electrical projects in the future.

Do not use! Unreliable, poor communication, and not professional in any way! They told me they…read moreoffer a free diagnostic evaluation, so I asked them to come look at our pipes that were allowing debris to back into the tub. The next thing I know, the employee was calling me to tell me he got his camera/hose stuck in the pipe and the only way to get it out would be to dig up the entire plumbing system and replace it... costing $2500 (He actually gave me over 4 different prices, going back and forth on what all was included for each price, but none of them actually adding up. It's like he was just throwing random numbers out and they dont have actual fees set for what they offer). I called the office, requesting to speak with the manager or owner to make sure they knew I didn't want the plumbing system left in worse shape than it was when they got there (long story short, IT WAS) and that we were not interested in a $2500 repair right now. The receptionist said that she would give him my number and he would call me.. he never did. My husband and I talked about it and decided to go ahead and have the repair done, so I called and asked for a written quote... I never got it. I called back, requesting one again, and still never got one. I called back a third time and was told "I meant to call you but got sidetracked. I we are no longer able to do your repair." So to summarize, they came out to look at and tell me what was wrong with a pipe, got a piece of equipment stuck in it, rendering it non-functional, and then said that they can't fix a problem they created? AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This business is run in the most irresponsible way. Not to be trusted!
