Having a medical professional support me on my autoimmune/physical/mental health journey the way she has improved my quality of life tremendously. She never dismisses my issues or concerns. Helps track how diet changes/supplements affect my numbers so we know what is working. Understands MTHFR and how medications can interact with it with it so there is no eye rolling when I question taking a medication concerning my genetic increase in risk of side effects. Is diligent with my labwork (conveniently done on site) and concerns. Her referrals for specialists are always solid. Does this office have kinks to work out? Yes. They have been through a huge shift partnering with Brookhaven Health, but I have faith those will be worked out. MD 365 - Urgent Care Near Me - Shirley, New York

My husband is not feeling well and went to his primary care office that is supposed to be open AFTER 4pm. He is complaining of strep throat symptoms and wanting to see him doctor but was turned away since they only have 1 provider on 4 hours away from closing. I've worked for years in medicine and I've never heard of a walk-in clinic turning away people 4 hours away from closing. What a joke. Thanks for taking care of your patients! smh read more

Part 2. Got a prescription from there. 10/19/23. PA said that it should get better in 2-3 days, 10/24/23 went back sicker now than 10/19. Now have a wheezing sound in my chest to go with the head and chest congestion, hacking and coughing. Went back to MD365. Spoke to main desk asked for a stronger prescription. Original prescription was doxycycline monohydrate. Patented in US "1957". The problem with older antibiotics is that you get drug resistant bacteria. Thank you for making me sicker with this prescription and delaying my recovery. I went back today. I was told that a new prescription would be called in and I would be notified by phone when it was placed. No call. Cough, cough, hack hack!!!! ?????????????????????? read more

The incompetence and non-existent communications skills of medical and admin staff are frightening. It took them six months to send me a bill telling me I was uninsured (I'm not.) They did not forward insurance into to lab. The doctor didn't call with results. I had to find them online myself. A MEDICALLY NECESSARY rx was not dealt with in a timely fashion. These people are not helpful; not nice; and should be shut down. read more

They are always polite and professional. The reviews on here complaining about covid test waits are ridiculous. As an RN I know how in demand these tests are and as such, the wait time is going to be long. They have a curbside option for all you whiners. You don't have to wait for a PCP. I followed my primary provider to the practice when they opened. Dr.joesph has been my family's provider since my children were small at least the 7 yrs. At fist the practice here at md 365 was great! But for the last couple months it been horrible! The staff at the desk is terrible not professional at all in the Exception of Debbie (she's great) . It has been so hard to get an appointment with my provider Dr.joesph. when I call to schedule an appointment with her there's always a long hold time in the phone. Then im told I can't get In To see her with an appointment but I can come as a walk in. I come as a walk In at 8am and get told I still can't see my provider because its not urgent. The office manager here is horrible. If doctor joesph leaves the practice my family and I will be too!! I do not recommend this office !! read more

I hate to write bad reviews, but after soooo many horrible experiences with the front office staff I have to say that this is absolutely the WORST doctor's office you could ever go to. The front office goes out of their way to be as difficult and unhelpful as they can be. I tolerated this for a long time because I loved the doctors, but guess what...all the good doctors left because this place is a HOT MESS. Appointment with Dr. Joseph for a physical went well. Office was clean and organized. Staff was nice. Love that blood work was done there so no separate appointment. Did wait 20 minutes to be seen but that is to be expected. Don't know why others were complaining about no social distancing. There were only 3 people in the waiting room and everyone who came in thereafter were asked to wait in their car. BTW, I live in Shirley. Don't know why YELP is saying San Francisco. read more

I was told I would receive my COVID test results via email. I have gone through the drive through at RIte Aid and received my PCR test results in two days. I went last week and I'm still waiting. I am still sick and was not offered any medication because the person who walked in the room claiming to be a doctor said I didn't look like I was sick. They performed no tests besides a COVID test even though I asked the doctor for a strep test and other testing because I have been sick for over a week. He was dismissive and not thorough. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere they listen. I went to the other urgent care center and even though I had to wait for proper care. I will not be using MD365 ever again. read more

Dr Thomas is one in a million.. She is wonderful, truly cares and treats you with kit gloves.. Office is very professional.. I'm a RN with over 35 plus years of experience. Unbelievable is the word that best describes this Facility and the Staff within. I girls that are supposed to handle the answering & directing of the Patients calls & inquiries are sorely lacking. Firstly, more often than not no-one will answer when you call, you will be forced to leave a message on a designated mail box for which you will never receive a return call. If by chance you are lucky enough to have someone pick up the phone you will be addressed in an all to often unfriendly & arrogant manner. Add to this the fact that they all too often make incorrect billings, always in their favor and you'll spend a great deal of time getting it straightened out -- such as charging you a CoPay when your policy actually carries a "0" CoPay for your Primary Care Visits. I had been a patient over the last 2 or so years for one reason or another and have been a patient of Dr. Zena Joseph. Believe it or not in all that time and all the visits I have Never, Not one single time ever seen or been examined by Dr. Joseph. There have numerous P.A.'s and on one visit I was seen by a Dr. Crow, but all other times seen by a P.A. - My biggest complaint and most recent screw up is I was seen by a P.A. Charles Vollmoeller who charged my insurance a $45.00 Fee as if he were a specialist -- I was there to see my doctor (Zena Joseph) Not Charles -- I attempted to straighten this out on the phone only to be hung up on -- I guess I'm going to have to go there in person and attempt to resolve this erroneous charge by the P.A. who did nothing more than discuss my Current Meds. I'm also going to add that dr Joseph and Austin ( first name ) are qualified to write prescriptions of anti depressants ( which I am currently on ) I needed a renewal because it's not good to just stop them completely....and they both said they are not comfortable with writing a prescription for me ....I went to another clinic and they consulted with me and wrote one because they said it's important to ween off them or keep taking them .....they also called me two days later to see if I'm ok .....there are caring dr out there ....md 365 is not a clinic I would recommend .....I'm reporting them again on their negligence read more

Front desk was called to make an appointment. Was told over the phone that they don't take appointments only walk ins. Get to MD365 in Shirley and was told they don't take any more walk ins as of today. Asked when walk ins normally stop and was told they choose when they stop. So refused to see me because they choose right at 4:30 pm to stop taking walk ins as of right then. What place refuses to allow you to book an appointment then tells you they wont take you because they choose once you walk thru their doors to stop taking walk ins. read more

This place has gone down hill. the front desk is mean. they are rude and yell at you when you ask a question. They act like they are doing you a favor by working there. I dont know what is happening. I called like 2 weeks ago and they were so nice and now?? nope dont go. The once girl Debbie, talks about other patients at the front desk so now I know all about so many patients health issues. She name calls them too. I asked her if it's normal to talk about patients like that she just looked at me then talked about me and my mom to another girl at the front desk. I have never felt like my information was so free for everyone to hear. My mom was there because she wasn't feeling well and you dont treat people like that. When I asked to speak to the manager they said they didn't have one. what is that about? I have been there before and I met the manager. she was so nice. She took care of me and my mom like we were family. when i asked to talk to her debbie said she was fired she isn't here because she breaks the rules. I am shocked that this person would say something like that. I dont beleive that woman the manager broke rules, she was so cautious and brought us in her office , offered us candy, and closed the door so we would have privacy. that front desk girl should be gone. horrible behavior and horrible treatment. I will find out if that manager lady isn't there anymore to find out where she is and I will go to her dr office. dont go here if you dont have to ..they treat everyrone differently based on how they like you . and i am sure my mom not speaking very good english and me having an accent didn't help debbie treat us better. read more
