Whether I'm hunting down specific brushes, looking for the right paint for a mural, or trying out new materials, they always point me in the right direction without any pressure. You can tell they actually care about artists and understand the tools we use. Their selection is huge -- from professional sign-painting and pinstriping supplies to spray paint, inks, canvases, and everything in between. It's one of those places where you walk in for one thing and end up finding five other things you didn't even know you needed. Memphis is lucky to have a place like this. They carry Kate Spade, ban.do, Christian Lacroix, and a bunch of other cool brands. I also spotted some Sugarfina near the cash wrap and couldn't resist picking up a couple of boxes. All in all, this is a pretty cool shop and their sales team is super helpful without being pushy. I'll make this a regular stop for me whenever I'm on this side of town.

Then she began mumbling to herself while I was still standing in front of her. You'd think that an older woman would be a little wiser and nicer but that wasn't the case here. If she's having a bad day or something then she needs to go sit down and calm down till she can speak to customers without being rude to them.

I learned that there are two ways to do it at the Frame Corner: 1) Choose your frame, choose your matte, place your order, pick up when ready and pay; or 2) Choose your frame, choose your matte, frame it yourself and pay. Cool, huh? I used to frame my own art myself to save a little money. The hubby and I would go, make our choices and hang out at the worktables, each framing our own work. Now? Not so much. I don't have much spare time, so I generally go with option #1. A little more expensive, but worth it. The staffers at Frame Corner are super sweet and are very good at their job. They love helping you find the perfect frame or matte (or both) for your photos and artwork. Turn around time is pretty quick, and the pricing is reasonable.

I was happy with the work they did, and I was back a couple of weeks later to get something framed for my apartment. Unfortunately I had to use the restroom, it was DISGUSTING, I had to stand in another persons pee puddle under the urinal to use the bathroom. The smell of urine was clear out to the water fountains. The bathrooms and bathroom access looked like the entrance to a crack house. See pics. Inside the store, aisles were wrecked, product thrown everywhere. I was potentially interested in buying a rug but there were no prices on the items, searched vigorously and couldn't find. What a crazy experience, there's absolutely nothing I couldn't have purchased from Amazon and had on my porch next day from this store. What kind of psychopath searches through a nasty store like this, stands in line and pays double for the same Chinese items.
