Do not recommend. Still have scar from a waxing done there almost a year ago. The tech did not change the wooden applicator for the wax, just used the same one she applied to my skin and dip it right back into the tub of wax- Very unhygienic. Also, had to stop half way through my daughters hair color bc the stylist made her very uncomfortable. She was very aggressive and rude- seemed to be having a very bad day and taking it out on my daughter. Haven't been back since and have warned others not to go. Really wished I would have documented the skin burn I received from their waxing. It still shows on my upper lip- it's been permanent since last Sept 2021. Really created the opposite of Getting waxed on your upper lip now it's a permanent dark spot over my lips. It's embarrassing. read more

I wish I could give MORE than 5 stars!!! I am so picky with my hair (traumatic experiences lol) it took me almost 7 months to pick a stylist through moving and research. I finally met and decided Jenn was the one for me. She made me feel comfortable and confident in her abilities. I set up an appointment (she came in on a day off to accommodate me) and she blew me away. I've never had a stylist that was able to lift my deep brown/auburn under toned hair to this ash blonde color. I have literally researched throughout the country and couldn't find anyone. She was so sweet and never made me feel bad or awkward when I asked questions. I can honestly say her skills are legitimately top notch and her customer service is right there as well. Just had my first haircut at ME Salon. It was a great experience from start to finish. David gave me a killer haircut and took me from COVID drab to spring fab! Very professional, super knowledgeable and delightful to talk to. He gave me some pro styling tips that I found incredibly useful and really listened to what I wanted - even being deliberate to make sure that his version and my version of 'one inch off the ends' meant the same thing. My favorite salon ever! Every stylist does a great job. They listen to your needs while styling your hair to complement your face. I've never had an incident in which I asked for a trim and came out missing 4 inches. I recently worked with Susanne who was very gentle (she didn't yank my hair with a comb like most hair dressers do). The spa environment is very nice and the staff is friendly. They also have free coffee and tea which is a bonus. I live in NYC but my folks live in the New Hope area, so I haven't even bothered to find a local salon - I just keep coming here when I visit. When I met David and admitted to feeling a bit nervous about the change I received not one but two generous hugs. Listen. If you are looking for a new stylist, do yourself the biggest favor of your life and get your tuchus to Me Salon & Spa in New Hope. I went to the same salon throughout high school and college. After that, I guess my blonde highlights started to feel some wanderlust because I started to try various salons around the Princeton area. I wasn't happy with any of the cut and color jobs anywhere I went over the course of those few years. Then one day a co-worker suggested I go see David at Me Salon & Spa and let me tell you, my hair has kicked the wanderlust and grown some serious roots there (pun IS intended - his balayage keeps me blonde and gives me beautiful mermaid hair that I can let go for several months between appointments as it grows out beautifully - a lovely solution to my old, tired highlights). Not that I would ever want to too long without giving my hair some TLC at Me Salon. It is exceptionally vital to my best face forward. I moved away from the Princeton are about half a year ago and am now an hour and a half away from Me, but I can say will full certainty I will not be going anywhere else. Basically what I'm trying to say is this salon is fantastic and if you're looking for a new spot, this will be the last place you look. I always love my cut and color, and David is always available to talk through any new color ideas and provide honest, direct feedback about the feasibility and final outcome. The stylists are well-educated in their art and have regular on-site classes to learn the newest techniques. Plus, I really enjoy David's company and I doubt there is a person out there who wouldn't, so that's just one gigantic plus. Not to mention, my hair has never been healthier. David suggested new products to wash and condition as well as style. I always used to straighten my hair daily because air drying was not an option - since I never had any idea what my hair would do with itself for the day. Now, since my hair has healed, I can step out of the shower, put some serum or oil in it, and it dries in lovely little waves that weren't there before David transformed my life, I mean hair. I highly recommend Beth! I had booked an appointment to get tips done, expecting the usual acrylic, but I was suprised to find out that there are other types. Beth suggested the gel instead of the acrylic because it healthier for your natural nail. I trusted Beth's knowledge and let her do the gels. I am so happy I did! My nails look great and feel like my real nails but are longer and stronger. It's been two weeks and they still look perfect. You must go and see Beth. read more

I've been going to Me Salon for 20 years. My hair has never look better but this is so much more than a hair salon. Everyone, the receptionist, the shampoo staff and all of the stylists are warm, welcoming and caring. They are intelligent and interesting and genuinely take a holistic approach to all of the clients. My stylist, Gina, is very creative with my difficult hair which I can now style easily. I usually go to a different salon in town, but this past weekend I decided last minute that I wanted to chop off all my hair and my stylist was all booked. On a recommendation from a client at work, I called me salon to see if someone could take me, and I was told that Jimmy was available (I hope that his name!) I went in, showed him a picture and he didn't do something kind of like what I wanted, he did EXACTLY what I wanted. I was nervous because I went from shoulder length hair to very short, but I'm pleased beyond belief. Great salon, great haircut, great experience. My hair has been colored, cut and blown out for almost 2 years now at Me Salon. David is my gifted and gregarious stylist and I am completely pleased with every one of his transformations of my hair. I am an unusual client as I have never ever enjoyed going to salons, but now I most certainly DO look forward to having my hair done! The salon is bright and everyone is happy and friendly. David has the rare quality of understanding and delivering what I want, but he also can steer me away from certain desired treatments which wouldn't be good for my hair - without offending me. My color is vibrant and natural, and I recently had a Kerasilk treatment which really brought out the light in my hair while calming down the summer frizz. (I highly recommend Goldwell's Kerasilk.) The prices are fair and the products are excellent.......Overall, this is the best salon experience I have had in all my 61 years! They are keeping me for life, I think. read more

This is the only salon I trust. They always do a fantastic job with my hair, especially David who I have been going to for many years. It's perfect if you have something in mind that you love and want to maintain (me now) or if you want to make a big change (me a year ago...) or if you don't know what you want (also me a year ago...) I have been going to this salon for 13 years, I have trusted them with weddings, parties, proms and countless other events in addition to just regular maintenance. I have been going to David for years, he is fantastic, I always know that I am in great hands with him and he goes above and beyond with his client experience. I asked for 2-3 inches off and my stylist cut off 5-6. I made it very clear that I did not want this much hair cut off. Now it is at an awkward, ugly length and I hate it. I just don't understand why my stylist blatantly ignored my requests and instead did what she thought was best. In the end, it's my hair that I have to live with every single day and I hate it. I do not feel beautiful, and, more importantly, I don't feel like myself. read more

I started going to Me about two years ago. After 34 years, my search is finally over. Gina is my stylist and I cannot say enough positive things about her. After undergoing radiation, I lost a good deal of hair. Gina not only acted as if she has been working with half bald patients for years, but she made me feel comfortable and completely stress free. What would be a challenge to anyone else was a breeze for her. She not only cuts my hair exactly how I want it (which has never happened before, even when I had a normal head of hair), but she is so genuine, kind and welcoming. Terrible. Went for a blow out and a shape up cut for my son. He was bowl cut across the front and my blow out: my 11 year old daughter does a better job. Terrible. Would not recommend AT ALL. one star is too many. I knew when we walked in it wound be mediocre but we were in a jam for an event tomorrow. Should have followed my instinct. to be honest, i scheduled my appointment here in desperation. i'm not sure why it took me so long to call. i came in for a hair cut with marc. it was a great experience and i'll definitely be going back. not only did he do what i asked (and really well), he also gave me insight about my hair's potential that i'd never though of before, like suggesting relaxing my wave so it lays flat if/when i grow it out. i didn't even know it was an option since my hair is only mildly curly. it was refreshing. everyone is really friendly. now if only my hair would go faster so i could go back sooner... read more

Attention CURLY HAIR LADIES... forget the so called curly hair cuts ( devastated, ouidad) that are awful! I have long, thick beautiful curly hair that was simply not working for me anymore and was really looking for a big change...to go very short. I have been so disappointed so many times by horrible hair cuts by people who have no clue how to cut or style curly hair. I have traveled great distances and paid mega dollars to get my hair cut by a "top" stylist and left with a cut that was not at all what I wanted... like a bob, a bowl cut too heavy on top or a blunt triangle shape. I recently came across the ME salon while in New Hope and decided to pull up their web site to see if perhaps there would be a stylist who could cut curly hair. DAVID's bio intrigued me and I liked the fact he had curly hair and it didn't look like poodle hair. I read all the reviews and customers praised David, so I decided to book a consultation. I was WOWED by his knowledge, confidence, genuine friendliness and interest in what I was looking to do. He took the time to talk to me, look at my hair and pictures and gave me his opinion and also what it would cost. Today I had my appointment and tonight I am sitting here SO HAPPY with my new look. My color is beautiful and my drastic cut (like 7 inches) is stylish and exactly what I was looking for and showed him. Trust me, he gets curly hair and knows his stuff. I love Me Salon + Spa. I used to go to a different salon every time I needed my hair cut because I was never quite satisfied with the look. I've been back to Me Salon about six times now because everytime I go I get the best haircut. Maria works wonders with my curls, bringing out their definition and giving me a shape that doesn't look like a triangle (like every other place) every time I go. She is thorough but quick, I'm not someone who wants to spend my whole day on my hair, I can be in and out in a half hour. I get compliments wherever I go and I've trusted him to take me from the inky dark I was when I met him to a beautiful caramel brunette with gorgeous highlights. I recommend this place for up-dos but not for the nail services. I had my hair done for my wedding day and it looked great. Heather did my hair. I showed her a few pictures on my phone for ideas and she immediately went to work and made my thin, fine hair look like a million bucks. I also had an express french manicure done after my hair appointment. It was done by a mean Eastern European lady and she painted my nails in a green tint that was visible in my wedding photos. How hard it is to paint nails properly, especially hours before a girl's wedding? It was prom day so all the salons were slammed, otherwise I would have had them re-done elsewhere. read more

Three days before my son's wedding I decided to use a different hair and make-up stylist and picked Me Salon out of the air. What a fantastic choice!! Karen listened to what I wanted and gave me an updo that was so comfortable I didn't know I had it and, best of all, it looked really lovely. Then David did my make-up. He was charming, entertaining and, as far as I can tell since I haven't seen many photos yet, he made me look really great in the photos. Thanks to them both for making my experience so pleasant,and to the salon for being so accommodating to get a one time only customer in on a Saturday on very short notice.
