This is one of the most predatory CDFI's I have ever encountered in my 12 years as a business…read moreowner. Their application & underwriting process was bullying and unprofessional. It took over 3 months to have anyone get in contact with me about my application once submitted. Finally, when I was contacted back, I was bullied into predatory terms by Lamont Jackson after being denied for the loan, and then also declining the loan later. I was contacted back to prey on a now desperate situation and the loan was forcefully executed. When it was, my company only received 25% of the funds needed which created an immediate default. Our point of contact, Trey Alston was not able to be reached for months while trying to settle the condition of the loan. He also lied about documents that were signed without my knowledge. This company posters as a support for minority business owners but attempted to ruin our relationship with the SBA indefinity through this loan. BEWARE of this company. They act like they operate from some high level of expertise, but they are really just performative individuals using the government accreditation to keep their own pockets paid while mismanaging the funding allocated off the backs on small minority businesses.
