Better help clients to get jobs , it's hard getting a job at least help them find one and help them land one

I was laid off and since I hadn't been out of a job in forever, I figured I needed a little help finding one, so I came here. I signed up online and sent over my resume, and filled out their forms, and they set up a face to face interview. The office is nice, but a little warm to me. Of course, I'm all dressed up and a little nervous, and a little *cough* over insulated, but still. The receptionist was nice enough, but not overly friendly; she wasn't rude, and maybe she was just super busy, but I didn't get any warm fuzzies from her. I did get warm fuzzies from the two recruiters I spoke with, Brittany, and E'Lisa (full disclosure: I know E'Lisa personally, but she was super professional, and awesome). Brittany is my main point of contact and was super helpful and very positive about my chances of them helping me find what I want in my salary range. She said that they will make sure to only look for jobs for me in my area of town (thank goodness, because I'm not driving across Houston) so that is awesome. Even if you sign up in Clear Lake or another office, you can apply for jobs from their other locations, as well. I haven't heard from them yet, but that's OK. It takes awhile when you're job hunting, so I totally understand. Plus, you can go on their website and apply to any job that suits your fancy as well. They have temporary, contract, and full time jobs at all skill levels and salary ranges. Even if I don't get a job through them, I would definitely recommend reaching out to them if you're looking; they are professional, friendly, helpful and if they would just turn their air conditioning down a couple degrees, I would be even more happy with them! read more

Very poor customer service. They do not return your call or respond to emails. Taylor, Lauren and Elisa I believe that's her name. All the receptionist would say is call the availability hot line. This staffing company is a complete joke. I'm not sure who they are getting jobs for. Because if they did I would think theywould have better reviews!!! After calling multiple time and sending emails it is not hard for me to get the point that imjust another number. It really hurts when the job seeker is diligently trying to get a job. read more

So far I'm not having a great service I applied like a month ago and I have experience in warehouse and I have yet to get a job by them. All they tell me is "we'll call you back" a whole week passes by and get nothing. It's really rude how they do their job. They are hired to get people to work to make money for the company. I do not recommend Meador. They seem absolutely great until you get hired on with a company and then it's near impossible, or a complete disruption to reach back out to an agent with questions, or concerns. They do not have transparency and up to date procedures for when hiring on candidates with companies. Because of them, I was not allowed to make a 40 hour work week when I hired on with American National (they're just as terrible 0/10 recommend). I was only allowed 37 1/2 hours for a full time paycheck which I didn't find out about until I tried to submit my first time roll sheet online. My holiday I was forced to miss was not payable at all. I spent over $400 in buying the "required" business casual attire for the new job, only to find out that their attire was casual and I could have simply wore jeans. As a single woman that just moved, I definitely could have used that $400 dollars somewhere else. Quite frustrating. They didn't even communicate with me that I was terminated from American National due to the fact that I HAD TO HAVE SURGERY. Pitiful excuses of companies that I would not recommend to anyone. read more

I would NOT recommend this staffing company. I applied online at the suggestion of a family member. I completed the intake assessment and arrived early for my in person interview. On the phone they stated to bring "2 forms of ID" which I did, in my opinion although what those 2 forms were was never explained to me. When I arrived I was denied to be seen because I didn't bring what they assumed the second form should be although again, no one explained to me what those were. I am relocating drove 3 HOURS TO BE AT THIS APPOINTMENT where I was denied to be seen because they did not communicate what was necessary. I would avoid this company!! read more
