After the final interview I was told they would make a decision the following week. I heard nothing back for over 2 weeks so I called and left a voicemail for Linda. When I did not get a return call in more than a week, it was clear that I did not get the job for whatever reason but I still wanted confirmation. I sent Linda an email and she finally replied that they had advised her nearly a week prior that another candidate had been chosen. I suppose taking 5 minutes to compose an email or return a phone call is too much to ask. It's also incredibly unprofessional. I get that ghosting candidates has become somewhat of the sad norm in this job market but I would personally never again interview with S&S Manufacturing or Meador Staffing.

The manager who recruited me sends an email late this Monday stating that the client ended my assignment because I was "not interested in learning anything new." That is a bunch of bull as the women who trained me told me I was doing well. Plus, I was catching on really quick. I feel that the client had other underlying reasons that I will not go into. And I also felt that the process at this location could have been a little more thorough. I did not even know going into the position how long the contract was or if it was only a temp only or a temp to hire. Some details were missed. I will never try Burnett at this location again.
