I so wish I would have checked reviews on this retailer before buying anything from them. I ordered an art piece for over $800. It took 4 months for the item to ship when it had originally shown as in stock and ready to ship. From reviews of others it appears this is a common practice. I did finally arrive. It was damaged. See pictures, top left corner canvas, coloring cracked and peeling. They claimed this was "brushstrokes". The wood frame was cracked and stapled back together. The retailer refused a refund. A credit card claim and a BBB claim were filed. If you've done business with this store and had a similar experience, I highly encourage you to make a Better Business Bureau claim. There needs to be some accurate accountability here across multiple forums. There is extremely negative reviews for this business for issues have delayed shipment, damaged items received and not honoring or deceptive Return policies. So disappointed with this business. I strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing from Meadow Blu Furniture to do extensive research before placing an order. After my experience, I have filed complaints with both the Better Business Bureau and the South Carolina Attorney General's Office because I believe consumers deserve greater transparency about this company's business practices. The chair I purchased is not a custom item and is sold by multiple other retailers that allow returns. However, Meadow Blu refused to accept my return even though the chair has never been removed from its original packaging. Instead, I was offered only a small partial refund while still being responsible for significant return shipping costs. My biggest issue is that the product page did not clearly indicate that the item was final sale. A restriction this significant should be displayed prominently on the product page--not hidden within a separate return policy. I also did not knowingly authorize the purchase of a product under what I understood to be final-sale terms. I also experienced issues with being overcharged for shipping and my advertised 15% first-time customer discount not being honored. Before buying, I recommend looking at independent review sites such as the BBB, Google, Yelp, and Trustpilot to see the experiences other customers have reported. I believe Meadow Blu should clearly identify final-sale items on every product page and provide consumers with an accurate representation of customer feedback so buyers can make informed decisions. I didn't pay much attention to the bad reviews about Meadow Blu, and now I really wish I had. I usually don't bother writing Yelp reviews anymore, but this experience compelled me to. I ordered a planter that arrived in the worst packaging imaginable--broken styrofoam everywhere, leaving me with a mess that took hours to clean. To make matters worse, the planter turned out to be too small for the plant I bought it for, all because the site only listed the dimensions for the widest part of the planter, not the actual opening. When I asked about the inaccurate dimensions, their reply was basically: "That's what the manufacturer provides. Good day!" No empathy, no offer to return or refund--just complete dismissal. I ordered a desk this last Saturday that I was intending to place between the two sinks in my master bath in the home I'm building. After speaking with the builder Sunday morning and being told that there wasn't room in the bathroom to have two separate sinks with the desk in the middle, I emailed customer service less than 24 hours after the order was placed and asked to cancel the order. Since they're not open on the weekend, I wanted the email to be there first thing Monday morning when they arrived and could cancel it before anything was processed. I received a reply saying they were sorry it wasn't going to work but could they help me find a different piece of furniture? I asked to just please cancel the order. I then received this response: Hi Lori, This order has been processed and moved to the shipping floor. We could either issue you a store credit or you would be charged a 25% restocking fee due to it being processed. I ordered a light fixture that was advertised online as in Door/Outdoor. I received the fixture which was attached to a plug, no ceiling, cap and outdoor installation instructions. I called customer service and talked to Luanne who advised me that she would contact the sales rep in regards to. Installation instructions and what she could do for me to make this an indoor light I then was ghosted by customer service and no response from the customer sales rep after several emails and several phone calls. I received an email telling me that I needed to pay shipping to return the light and a 25% restocking fee. I would never buy anything from this company for false advertising and horrible customer service. Well that bit me in the a$$. My order arrived damaged, and they won't do anything to fix it. The people don't answer the phone or return phone calls. Do not buy from this company. I wrote to customer service to see if I bought a rug if it was returnable and they said it was returnable in accordance with their return policy. I read the return policy and nowhere does it say that I need to pay to return the items and a 25% restocking fee on rugs. I orderd two rugs and both did not work out. When I aske to return the rugs, they said I would need to pay for the return shipping ($150) and a 25% restocking fee ($170). Nowhere in the return policy does it say that rugs returned have a 25% restocking fee and I needed to pay to ship them back. In the end I received very little refund for the rugs and felt very misled. I called and emailed to disccuss with customer serivce and received a very poor response. Ive ordered 4 bar chairs and everything was fine until we returned home from vacation and opened the boxes.All 4 boxes had no damages but one chair inside the box had a broken leg.We contacted the costumer service immediately,pictures were sent and we explained the situation but seems like they don't want to accept that the chair was sent to us damaged. I ordered two beautiful soap dispensers for my new bathroom in February. Mid August they arrived. That is six months after I ordered them. I totally forgot. I had ordered them and I had already purchased something else. When I asked to return them, I was told that I had to pay $20 to return them and a 25% restocking fee. Now, I will admit that the products that they sell may be beautiful, but they are expensive and there are some negative comments in their reviews that I now know are worth repeating. There were many customers that said when they ordered things there was very long shipping delays. If I read that, I don't think I'd even think six months was possible. I never received an email saying sorry for the delay or your order is going to take a while I never received an email offering a refund due to the delay. All of those things should've happened. But instead of six months later, I received two items I didn't need anymore. I would have been a long time loyal customer to this company if they had simply taken care of my return request. But they had no interest in helping me and therefore I'm leaving this review. Because they would rather loose a customer than make an exception to their return policy. It is not about the money. It's just the lack of basic understanding that they were in the wrong and that I should not have been inconvenienced or asked to loose money. We all know that exceptions to return policies can be made when the reason justifies it. And my reason justified it - I have never waited six months for items unless they were some sort of custom made piece of furniture. read more

I wish I'd read the overwhelming number of negative reviews about this business before purchasing from them. They all highlight terrible experiences much like my own. I bought a very expensive Made Goods planter, and it appears I was sent the wrong color. I sent photos and a friendly note upon opening, and the reply was hostile, uninformed, highly unprofessional, and I was told I was wrong, had no claim, and that I would have to pay a 25% restocking fee and return shipping on a 60-pound package. All through email, no human touch. I repeatedly asked via email for someone to call so that we could figure this out together, and kept getting emailed verbatim quotes from the website. I tried calling many times but they don't answer the phones. I finally got a knowledgeable customer service representative who offered me a discount and told me it would be applied to the purchase. Then a salesperson emailed me and told me that representative was wrong and rescinded the discount . She did inform me I could have 15% off a future purchase, as though that would happen. I was unable to get beyond this salesperson, and no one has reached out or tried to help in any way. first off, their prices are about 15 to 30 percent above competitors. additionally, if you want to get your item quickly do not purchase from this company. My item was ordered over two months ago and I still do not have it. They blame it on everybody about themselves. My piece has changed hands several times and is now sitting in a Fragilepak facility because they "don't have anyone that wants to deliver it". why would you accept contracts to receive another person's merchandise if you don't have people to deliver. Meadow blu accepts no responsibility for who they choose to ship with. I can order from the same brand with a competitor and have merchandise in a few weeks, with them it's months. I am starting to wonder if it's financial and that's why they can't manage to deliver within a reasonable time frame. If you are looking for large furniture, run the other way. They will just gas light you until eventually one day your merchandise shows up. read more

I added the table to my cart, entered my credit card details, checked out and received an email confirmation confirming my purchase. Within 24 hours I received an email stating that I needed to pay an additional $100 if I wanted to receive the item I already purchased. I was told it was to cover the shipping cost. However, the product listing on the website clearly states "this item qualifies for free standard shipping". In my cart and in my email confirmation there is a line for shipping and it shows $0. Throughout the entire checkout process at no point did it state that I might have to pay for shipping.  After receiving this email saying I needed to pay an additional $100 or my order would be cancelled, I called Meadow Blu because I thought it was a scam email. Turns out Meadow Blu is the scam. This is not an ethical or legal way to do business. Shame on Meadow Blu. read more

We ordered an outdoor concrete table from this company two years ago. Almost a year later, it arrived damaged. The delivery company said that they would install the broken one (so we have a table) and work with Meadow Blu to send a new base. Months later, and they sent a base, but for a different table (the base that can't be moved since it is so heavy) is still in our house. After many more emails and complaints (inc to BBB) a new base was sent but shockingly, it was broken as well. The company stopped replying to customer service emails so we are now stuck. read more

Meadow Blu is absolutely the WORST company that I have EVER dealt with. I would give them zero stars if that were possible! I ordered 3 pendant lights in July of 2024. Shortly after I placed the order, and they charged my credit card, I received an email stating the estimated ship date was November of 2024. The delivery date was then pushed out to December of 2024, then February of 2025 and now March of 2025. At that point I cancelled my order. They will now only issue a store credit, not a credit to the original form of payment. Remember, they charged my credit card in July of 2024. It would have taken 9 months to receive this order! I have been fighting with Meadow Blu to get my money back for monthsI have reported them to the Better Business Bureau. I am now disputing the charges with my credit card company too. I ordered 6 dining chairs from this company, unfortunately 4 of them arrived with damage ranging in severity. I contacted my POC Candace at Meadow Blu immediately and provided images and all requested information. Candace apologized for the damaged items and let me know she would work on a solution. This was on 12/23/22, it has now been over FIVE MONTHS and there has yet to be any kind of resolution or communication from Meadow Blu. The dining chairs are still sitting in my formal dining room with the tags attached and have never been used. I have followed up with about 10 emails over the last few months and have even chatted into the website a few times. Each time Luanne assures me in the chat window that Candace will be replying to my emails but I have yet to hear back from anyone. I would not recommend this company. If you go back and look at the comments over the past few years, many of the negative reviews are met with canned, disingenuous responses from the owner.
