First, let me start with the staff. Laura and Jennifer are AMAZING! Anytime I had an inquiry, a request, or the very select few times I had a concern, they always made sure to take care of it. And forgive me for not knowing his name, but the gentleman in charge of maintenance is AWESOME! Always quick to take care of an issue you may have (minus normal hours - that's normal!). It all starts with attitude, and this staff has the best! As for living, if you are looking for a place that helps you feel secluded, peaceful, but close to everything, this is the place to live. The only concern is limited parking in front of your unit, but that only happens if you are coming home late at night. Morning and throughout the day is no problem, and there are other spaces available across the complex if something isn't in front of your unit. You might have to walk a couple minutes, but again, only if you are trying to park late at night (around 9:30-10). The appliances are up to date or new, there is plenty of space with the garage (snow...think about it) and it is a very relaxing place and community. Plus, you will have a nice welcome kit waiting for you (won't spoil it) Thank you to the staff for my short, but enjoyable, stay. You are VERY good at what you do!

The truth hurts and the reality is this is a sub par place to live. nearing 4 years the only thing that makes us renew is not wanting to pack our stuff and go. rent has regularly gone up over 100$ every year on a year lease. The winters are absolute hell living here as there is no good snow removal service provided. I had to use two days of work vacation time because I couldn't get my car out of Knapps corners parking spaces or the lot itself. The only thing you hear from management is how you owe a small fee on top of your rent. There's constantly dog feces anywhere in the surrounding grass as no dog owners pick it up even the management claim to run samples on dog poop to trace it back to the owner. There's no security cameras anywhere resulting in numerous reports of car break ins. Management stated they don't want to be liable so no cameras for the renters peace of mind. We were told to not give out building codes to anybody who doesn't live there, have fun going down to your door for food orders or to let a guest in (jokes on you Knapps corner flats, nobody is doing that). We dealt with numerous flaws in our apartment, one that was taken into consideration and then finally looked at two weeks later and finally "fixed" two weeks after that. Truth is KCF has a 2.2 rating for a reason and it would be worse without the money giveaways getting people to leave bland or fake reviews to win money.op

It has been essentially useless all winter long because it is an actual mud pit. You'll be paying a hefty deposit and monthly fee to keep your dog here with you only for the dog park to look like this.

Have dog shit on a rug they just flip over. No notice for carpet cleaners to clean carpets. Have a dumpster diver. People opening there doors to find someone grabbing or going to grab your door knob. Never know if manager is going to show up for work or tells you he be here on Monday and never shows. Hope network needs to get real managers to run this place the one they have is worthless.

And it's not all furniture; there are lamps, (new) candles, objets d'art, (new) throw pillows, bookends, etc. Basically anything you could find at Pottery Barn (save linens and tableware) but higher quality and certainly more unique. It's such a comfortable, warm place that my husband and I enjoy just popping in every few weeks to see what's new. Unfortunately (or fortunately!) we've run out of spaces to put furniture. Rick, the owner, has a great eye for quality and style and is super friendly, to boot. Once he offered to lend us his SUV so we could haul a piece of furniture to our nearby home! We declined his very generous offer :-) They do deliver for a fee, for things that can't be wedged into a standard vehicle.

I lived in on of these '616 lofts' apartments. It had granite countertops and new appliances which…read morewas pretty nice. Most aspects of the building that contained my apartment was pretty high quality. They also have a facebook page to foster a community for everyone living in the building which is pretty nice. Unfortunately the apartment is not as large as advertised. The '540 sq ft' apartment I lived in was actually no larger than 450 sq ft (not sure if that is false advertising?). It was also common for the common areas to smell like wet dog. On top of that, when I moved into my apartment the key I was given did not work so I could not access the building. They also forgot to give me a key to the mailbox on the first floor. So, the physical quality of apartments are nice because they are new (albeit a little false advertising on their size). My experience moving in really wasn't that bad but the small things that happened when I moved in seemed quite unprofessional. They indicate a bit of lazy and unprofessional behavior on the management side of things.
