This place is quite large, 33-acres, yet not a well-known park because of their location. If you…read morelook at it on the map it's in the middle of a bustling area near the highway and the mall, but because of where the entrance is located, you wouldn't necessarily notice it on a daily basis. There is a large open, grassy area at the front so you could play some sports or games, or just lounge, read, and/or sunbathe. On the perimeter of the open grassy area are a some picnic tables (22 of them according to their website), and 3 grills. There is also a large, covered picnic shelter that you can reserve and a small playground (I think there are actually 2 playgrounds, one a bit smaller & tucked in the trees a bit, if I remember correctly). I spotted a public restroom facility near the picnic shelter as well, but didn't utilize them so I can't speak to their cleanliness or whether they were open or not. The open grass area is surrounded by a forested area of huge pine trees, creating a lovely, shady and cool oasis to wander through. There are a number of trails winding there way through the trees, the main ones being several feet wide, with many offshoot trails that are just about a foot wide. Most of the trails are dirt and/or wood chips, but were well maintained and clear when we were there. The trails were also mainly flat so fairly easy to navigate.

Some picnic tables and benches here and there. I also saw a hot coals disposal bin, but I didn't see any bbq grills, so I'm not sure if they have those or if you're allowed to bring your own grill. They have excellent, flat paved paths for walking that circle and cut-through the park, and also veer off to connect to the neighborhood for local access. The other kids/parents were wild, but that's not the workers' fault. For example, there was a 14 year old pushing his younger sibling very fast and recklessly in a car, going at high speed from one end of the playroom to the other. I highly recommend parents staying close to their kids/tots/babies to protect them from potential run overs or crashes.

The complex has 2 grass fields and 3 turf fields. Turf fields double as soccer fields and baseball diamonds, (not my favorite) The entire complex is ran by the county, so when it rains they tend to cancel games on the grass fields to quickly. Grass fields are still in great shape and play very well. Plenty of bleacher seating and it's all protected with a huge netting system above your head for safety. The complex operates a very clean concessions stand. Clean restrooms, both located dead center of the fields. Huge play structure for the younger kids not yet playing sports. 2 parking areas, but parking is still tight on game days.

The parking is plentiful and the area is immaculate! There's picnic tables, a small playground, and restrooms. My favorite is the little wooded walking trail that I can take my dog for a walk through. Daily you can find little league teams practicing or playing games, people meeting up for impromptu games, or people just enjoying the area. One note is that it can get very busy on the weekends when several games are going on. Sometimes the parking does spill over into our neighborhood, which isn't usually a problem - people seem polite about it overall. This has been a great addition to the neighborhood and I'm glad to live so close to it!
