This is the kids favorite indoor play spot. Lots of variety of imagination play (store, construction, fire department, ice cream/ coffee shop, veterinary, postal delivery), dinosaurs, train tracks, sand box, blowing scarves and puff balls, connect four, table activities, crafts. Amble space and engages kids from toddlers to older kids. It provides enough variety that my seven year old still loves to come here. Very nice gals at the front desk, very clean and organized. And a huge benefit is the coffee shop for mom! Fun treat. We love this spot! read more

This one isn't as clean as Playstreet, but it's cheaper and the location is probably closer for a lot of people. They sell food and drinks, so the place does have that fast food, oily smell. The other kids/parents were wild, but that's not the workers' fault. For example, there was a 14 year old pushing his younger sibling very fast and recklessly in a car, going at high speed from one end of the playroom to the other. I highly recommend parents staying close to their kids/tots/babies to protect them from potential run overs or crashes. read more

This is a nice play place. Pretty quiet during the later hours and tidy and the cafe is nice to have although I think the food/drinks are pricey. I think I'd rate it 5-star if there were more selection of toys, each area was lacking, the kitchen and grocery store were nearly empty, the vet had no tools, and there was coloring available but no sheets laid out. read more

Very clean. I was so impressed that the staff came out to clean and vacuum while we were there. Lots of kids to do! My tots didn't want to leave even after 2h and they usually get bored of any place after 40 minutes. The bathrooms had kid seats and a bin for diapers! We really like this place and has taken our daughter here 3-4 times now. We bought the 10 visits pass during their thanksgiving sale and that was a great idea because the pass does not expired so you can go whenever during the whole year really. Our daughter really liked it here too even though she's just almost 1. They have many themes and well designed work rooms for all types of kids and age range. Really glad a friend of mine recommended this playhouse and it's always the go-to place when we think about places to take our daughter out for a couple play time. They also cleaned the playhouse an hour everyday. I think that's a great thing . The playhouse itself is super cute. The vibe, the decorations and the staff are all great. I think the only downside is you really have to check their website for open play time especially on the weekends where they have a lot of birthday reservations. read more

Could've been better, could've been worse. My granddaughter really liked some of the different little stations, but there just wasn't enough for the cost. Great place very pretty inside and some fun stuff for kids but their hours of operations fluctuates honestly to the point I found somewhere else to take my kids. One time they closed at 3pm, 5:30pm, 6pm. I'm not talking about when they stop the play to do cleaning I really like that about them. It's when I talk to the employees and they say they're closing for the whole day. I ended up finding a place just similar east of Vancouver and has complimentary coffee and a den for parents optional if you're a busy parent that works from home they'll watch your kids for you! I'll definitely come back to chicky play museum in hopes they finally fix their hours situation instead of online saying 7:00PM. Cleanliness is a plus read more

We had a blast here for my nieces birthday party! They only allot 30 mins for set up before the party, but the two employees that helped up get everything ready were amazing and we had everything set up in plenty of time. We were so appreciative of how attentive they were before, during, and after the party. The play space is perfect for a birthday party and all the kids had fun with the different stations. I give this place a 2 star because our visit wasn't that good. They have different play session times where they close the play area place for 30 minutes to clean. We arrived around 4:10 and the next play session started at 4:30. The idea of them cleaning is great to me but when playing with the toys i noticed they were sticky and not that clean compared to other facilities we have gone too. Also at other facilities after kids have finished playing in an area/no longer occupied a worker will reset the area to make clean again but I noticed that's not done here or it happens much later. read more

I took my almost two year old here to play a few weeks back and he had a decent enough time.  We are avid indoor play space explorers and have tried many in the Portland Metro area.  This one was just middle of the road for us.  To start off, the playtime/scheduling at this playground is different from what we have experienced from the others. You have a set start time in two hour increments (9am, 11am, etc.) so you cannot set your own time. Play starts at the top of the hour for your block and ticks down for 90 mins, whether you are there playing or not. When you are paying $18.50, you definitely want to get your money's worth and having such strict start times can be difficult for families on schedules for meals, naps and whatnot. We scheduled for 11am and showed up at 11:15 (my fault) but we then had to wait for about 10-15 additional minutes to go in and play because the person doing check-ins was the same person doing all the orders for food and beverage. They were helping someone who either wasn't ready to order yet or was having a payment issue and a line of us waiting to check in formed in the small dining area. I would have expected a little more play time since this was out of our control but the end time is very strict. While this is not the only play place we've gone to with a 90 minute limit, it was the most rigid and the only one that starts the timer before you get there.  It is also the highest price point we've encountered so the play time to value ratio ended up being the lowest.  The play room was absolutely trashed by the time we got into it and there were no staff members tidying up at any point while we were there. I imagine they probably pick up between play blocks but a space this size with so many toys, it would be helpful if someone even just moved toys back to their general area a couple times per play.  As I mentioned above, we go to indoor play spaces and children's museums often and I have never seen a place get this messy with toys. Once we were settled in, my son had no problem finding things to entertain himself. He really liked the train table and the little café. The slide was nice, too.  I will say we found the sand table a little frustrating because you can't bring toys from the playroom into the sand but there was also nothing in the sand to play with. It was just an empty bin of sand! No scoops, buckets or similar.  There was a light show going on but it wasn't particularly entertaining, especially for the target age group of the play space.  We witnessed several toddlers trying to bring the little plastic animals into the sand and getting frustrated when they were told no.  It would be nice to either get rid of the sand table all together, and do the light show on a wall to clear up space for other activities or to add some sand appropriate toys to the bin to interact with. Just a suggestion.  Two other things that were a little frustrating were the room temperature and the bathroom situation. The temperature in the play area was sweltering. All three of us were visibly sweating by the time we left and we were dressed in pants/shorts and t-shirts. Would be great to have a bit more airflow in the part of the room where the play is happening. There are also only two single occupancy bathrooms which seemed to always be occupied. I waited to go into one only to find that it had no changing area so I had to change my toddler in the back seat of my car. Overall, like I said before, this was the middle of the road for us. If you live super close, this may be a good option because you can hopefully bypass the bathroom situation and it would be easier to show up on time.  They also sell play passes that make the price per play cheaper, so that would also make this place more appealing. read more

Agree with some of what the other reviewer wrote, 18.50 is the HIGHEST I've paid for a play place, I really hope they adjust the pricing to be more competitive with others that are $12-15 and the set timing is annoying because if you don't get it exactly right you don't get the full amount of time and 1.5 hours isn't enough for some kids my little one definitely takes their time with things. Cafe area was cute and the play space was clean (we came first thing in the morning though) the ball tube system scared my little one so I do wish it had a quieter function cause when it's running it's loud in the whole place. read more

We did the parents night out event, where you drop your kid off for the night. He had a blast playing here. We came back for the Santa meet and greet event which I think was a great idea because sometimes kids don't wanna meet Santa or want to do in at their own pace. It's a clean environment, and the service is great. In my opinion less can be more. The area is designed perfectly and not over stimulating. They have a great menu of cafe items even though we didn't try any. read more

Absolutely amazing. It's a wonderful set up with tons of different play areas for toddlers - firehouse, restaurant, dog vet, supermarket, house, ambulance, giant train table....great for their imagination play. The staff is also constantly cleaning up and resetting the toys and play areas. It felt very clean! They also do private birthday parties! The cafe has nice coffee and kids snacks that are all reasonably priced. We love this place!!!!! read more

3rd time we show up and they don't have open playtime available. They tell you to check website and don't bother to update when they decide to close early. Now and days you either have to pay for a private party or an over priced event by them. read more
