It seems like a welcoming environment at first until you realize how close these cliques are and hard it is to actually be welcomed equally in them. The leadership style is one that is do what I say and do not question it. If you do not agree with something they do (move to a new building and time) the pastors answer to the congregation is pray about it until you accept it. Recently a very sexist post was sent out where it implied a women should serve a man while watching tv in a bikini and the response when it was brought out was they did not even notice what the image was they posted on social media and in church newsletters. They are constantly asking for money as the church lost external funding support and even with the very small church size they have two pastors on staff and close friends employed. It is very disappointing seeing how this church uses money for salaries and how much everyone involved in the church is really just part of a very close clique of friends. Be careful if you consider this church- I fully believe it is all about income for the leadership and hanging out with their friends. The pastor has also asked regular attendees to RSVP yes to Facebook events even if they 100% know they can't attend to generate more buzz and hopefully get others to attend- how is a request like this for others to intentionally lie and mislead others to attend a church event ever OK? - well it's the culture of Sideris. Although I appreciate the pastors reply keep in mind attendees were also send specific instructions on to search for the church on google and how long to spend on the site to increase the keyword results- this is search engine manipulation yet the pastor asks his church to do this- including false RSVPs on Facebook and a don't question my decision environment but give me more money tactics..... We were blessed to have met the greeters, and inside we were met by another to direct us to our seats! We witnessed 2 baptisms, sang songs of worship, listen to an amazing sermon and then had communion (3 options, which included gluten free for those that cannot eat gluten). The pastor that spoke was Dr. Brenda Salter Mcneil and her message was on the Birth of Hope! God bless her she is a phenomenal preacher! Highly recommend visiting this church!

I have never met more genuine and kind people than I have attending and being involved with Quest. Quest recently moved to the Leary location which was actually the old Mars Hill location. The space is big and can be a bit overwhelming upon arrival but once you're inside the sanctuary, the setting is surprisingly intimate and the flow of the service is nice and manageable. They have a nursery for infants and waddlers and programs for kids as well as for high school and college-aged people. I was in the post-college group for some time and it was a great experience. I can't recommend Quest enough to anyone interested in a church. The church is solidly scripture-based and centered around Jesus. Social justice and reconciliation are key focuses of Quest. When Kevin came to our branch for a book signing event, we were so exited to get a chance to meet him and talked about how appreciate we felt about the service. We were told we couldn't join the line coz we don't have a book. I bought the book but left at home. We explained that we just want to have a quick chat with him. Guess what? We were not allowed. What??? We can't talk to our pastor??? In which church you can't talk to your pastor? Sorry we can't join a church with no real community in mind. Very disappointing...
