Being a first time mom it was important for me to interview the Pediatrician ahead of time to make sure I felt comfortable. Dr. Weibel was more than willing to meet with me and took the time to answer all of my questions. I have found her to be very personable and likable. She is great with my daughter. There are a few other Pediatricians in this practice and was seen by Dr. Vilushis post delivery so they do rotate for the hospital call. I find their staff has been professional and I haven't had a long wait time when I arrive for my appointment.

My daughter had a blood test in office and we got a message at 3am that she needed to go to the ER. I couldn't even get a call, apparently parents are supposed to check their portal in the middle of the night for these notifications. We took her to the ER to be tested and everything was fine. Later in the week we get a message that the other test came back with concern (found out via message again, not a phone call) and she needed to be tested again at the hospital. We took her to get her lab work done and UPMC Northwest messed up the vile that was supposed to be sent in. We took her back to UPMC Northwest to have the blood drawn again, the test came back that everything was fine. Once again we found out because of a message and not a phone call. Because of the incompetence of this doctors office my daughter went through unnecessary testing, bruising from bloodwork and we have unnecessary bills. Avoid this office at all costs, their "nurses" are not actually nurses and are unable to do basic tasks, like measure the circumference of a baby's head. It's unfortunate that this office has become so unreliable and incompetent compared to what it was when Dr. Hamm was there.

I called super early after being ill for far too long. While my PCP was super booked, the appointment line was able to get me in within just a few hours to see Dr. Patton, who is located in the same office. I'm usually hesitant to try any new doctors (I've had a lot of bad experiences), but I truly needed to be seen and took the chance. Dr. Patton is someone I would highly recommend for anyone. She is very intelligent, kind and listens to her patients. I completely trust in her and her ability to diagnose and treat. Her office is well-run and efficient compared to another major hospital system that always leaves me with a giant headache. And again, I can't tell you how much I appreciated being seen urgently within 2 hours of my phone call. That never happens anywhere, ever. Overall, I hope this review will help someone the next time they need an appointment at UH. I really believe that choosing a good doctor can make or break an entire experience with a hospital and I wish more people in Northeast Ohio reviewed their great doctors in the area. At the big box hospital we felt like we were just a number and not positive that they had our daughter's best interest in mind. With Dr. Milner, we found exactly what we wanted. She has provided us with the expert care of years in the profession. With Dr. Milner we know our daughter is in the best hands and feel the trust as if one of our own family members were taking care of our daughter. Here is just one example: Our preemie daughter came down with a nasty cough late on a Friday afternoon. Dr. Milner stayed late at the office to check her out so we wouldn't have to be worried or need to go to the emergency room over the weekend. As it turned out, she did have RSV, a serious respiratory infection for which many infants are hospitalized. She got us set up with the proper nebulizer treatments and we never had to admit her to a hospital or seek emergency care. We can call her office line anytime and she will get back to us, even on the weekend or evening. We would gladly pay any amount to get the best care for our daughter, but that is not necessary. It is covered by insurance the same as any hospital. On another plus side, we have had absolutely NO billing issues using this private practice, which is such a refreshing change!

Highly overrated clinic - notice I didn't say pediatricians because you'll be very lucky if you are…read morenot funneled to a nurse cast majority of the time. First, the practitioners will parrot the same recommendations regardless of whether they make sense. And when you ask them to explain their reasoning they'll clam up. This whole breastfeeding institute or whatever they call it is a joke -- in a couple of appointments, their main recommendation was actually to use a Facebook group!! Second, the scheduling system and approach is nonsensical. You must call to get anything scheduled, and in order to get a real person on the line you have to possibly spend hours on the phone I suspect this is their way of reducing volume when they cannot keep up; they are assuming that some parents would just give up and miss the time window and go away. But one thing they are truly good at is billing -- those arrive right on the dot. In summary, why would you go to them: - For medical expertise? No, most of the time you don't even see a doctor. And the ones aren't anything special - For convenience? Big hospitals are not great, but at least you can call anytime and schedule online. Not like Senders. DONT FALL FOR THEIR MARKETING -- THERE ARE BETTER PROVIDERS IN THE AREA
