UPDATE: We got a call from the manager. They went out of their way to count the money in the till and found a surplus of $15. We were able to go to the courtesy desk and get our money back. I still wish the cashiers were paying better attention. It's not exactly rocket science. All they need to do is scan bar codes, receive money and hand back the correct change. I'll do my part and record serial numbers of large bills BEFORE spending them in that store.

Luckily, everyone loved it and walked away saying it was one of their favorite parts of the trip! Keith was our guide and is not only is he hysterical with his light hearted (and well timed) comedic injection, but he's clearly passionate about the farm and highly knowledgeable about the entire farm to shelf process. It was such a breath of fresh air and honestly, his delivery of the tour information is what kept everyone so engaged and interested. We were able to crack our own macadamia nuts and eat them fresh, tried 100% kona coffee and even learned how to taste chocolate like a real cocoa connoisseur! It was lovely and a highlight of our trip indeed. The gift shop was also great and had an awesome selection of chocolate to purchase and bring home to share with friends. We came here on a Wednesday and one of the vendors told us that there usually is more vendors, so when we came by it was a very small and casual event. There was a few local musicians playing some music so that was very nice. I really sensed the community from the different vendors here and some had a lot of stories to share. I think where it's held is not bad at all because the lawn is well-kept and aren't full of dirt of anything. We chilled under the tents with the tables and seats because it's out in the open so not much shade. We parked along the street but I think the parking lot next to Outrigger might be free too? Not entirely sure because there might be parking gates so definitely aim to just park along the streets to be safe. We came here and hung out for about 30 minutes before heading to the "beach" through the shoreline access pathway a bit more up from the market. I think a lot of the food being sold seemed really interesting too and we were close to getting shaved ice. We sampled chocolate coffee beans that were really delicious.
