How dissapointing, my very first experience with Mears Nissan on 10/12/2024. Location: Tuscarawas St. W Canton, Ohio Service Department. We purchased a brand new 2024 Frontier Truck. We needed a front passenger tire replaced. With the new truck purchase, we also purchased the wheel & tire replacement coverage. Would you believe they charged us $342.67 for a 17" tire? There was NOT enough coverage, to cover the replacement, we still had to shell out additional funds to cover the full replacement service. I checked the tire at two places, it was only $167.00ea. at retail. Not only did they charge an unreasonable amount of money for a car size tire, their Service Dept. was completely unorganized and unprofessional. I stood there waiting at the Service counter, the only one there. As the counter person searched & searched for my paperwork & then he cold not find our key. To make matters worse the employee did not know how to do his job. He was stumbling around with the shops computer, as i held up from behind the counter, the paperwork, to point out notes that were written, he fired back, "GET THAT OUT of MY FACE!" with a very rude & threatening tone. Mind you, I'm on the other side of the counter, 2 feet away. As I continued to wait, he finally called another employee to ask more silly questions on the final bill. That's it, I'm done with Mears Nissan. In my opinion, they just robbed themselves of any future business. Do yourself a favor, don't even waste your time or money there. It's ridiculous. read more

Took my brand new truck that I've only put 120 miles on, I had a bad tpms sensor, waited there on It ,they dinged my door, talked to Adam the manager I guess , I basically got called a liar,I had to go off a little and he agreed to call me the next morning for his dent guy to repair it, no phone call,so I call at 2:30 but he is on the phone he will call me back,did not happen ,that's how they do business ,I'm calling corpprate, and the bbb,and I'll pay to get it fixed myself, before I seen the dent in my door I payed them $280,the dent was free, dont Take your vehicle there unless you don't like it, they suck read more

The service manager, Mike has a nasty attitude. My car buying experience was great, but Mike, not so much. He was rude and demanding. Called and canceled my appointment. He has such a nasty attitude over the phone and WILL hang up on you before the conversation is over! What a sissy. read more

The sales rep was 5 star, he was easy to work with, respectful and low pressure. I would buy a cat from him again. The lower rating was due to their horrible credit manager who was judgemental, arrogant and was not someone I would ever deal with again. read more

Bought a used vehicle from Mears Nissan and even before we got it home had issues with it. Talked to them the next day and the had me talked to Manager Jeff Wines nicest guy ever he took care of the problems and really went above and beyond to make things right. Best Dealership around. On April 23 2021 I contacted Dustin concerning cancellation of an extended warranty on vehicle I was selling, after providing paperwork contacted again on May 17 2021 and was informed it was in fact canceled, when asked about refund he said he would contact office and let me know, did not bother responding, Once again Contacted Dustin on May 25 2021, He stated check had been mailed out previous week and mail was slow, would resend if didn't receive, On 29 May 2021 I attempted to contact again as check had not arrived, but received no response, June 2 202, I reached out to General Manager Jeff Wines, who informed me that check was sent to wrong address so they updated and would send overnight which didn't happen !I attempted to contact again but have had no response from either nor has any check been received ! It appears both individuals are bold fabricators and certainly not trustworthy for keeping their word ! read more

The service department well exceeded my expectations and any other service departments I have had dealings with in the past. I brought my vehicle in for a routine oil change. I opted to wait for this service. They have a waiting area with chairs, side tables, reading materials, tv, and a bar/stool area with multiple outlets and usb charging outlets. This was perfect for being able to bring my work computer along and have availability to use and charge while waiting. As I waited, every employee that walked by the area greeted me with a "good morning, how are you today"! I was unexpectedly updated that when they were performing a multi-point inspection they noted that my one tire was a little low, filled it, then checked the tire with soap and water. This was above and beyond!!! I have never had another service company take the time to soap a low tire down to see if there was a leak, they would just put air in it. By doing this, they located a spot that a nail was in and they apologized for the oil change taking a little longer because they wanted to plug the tire for me!! What, apologizing for them checking and fixing my tire!!! I was truly impressed and appreciative that they went this extra step. Not only did they go the extra step and repair this leak for me yet I did not get charged for it either. Superb customer service! I will be back! read more

I'm disgusted. My daughter, son who's (disabled) went into this dealership to purchase a car. We test drove a ford focus and a passat in which we were happy with the focus, until he mentioned the current recall on the engine. At that point my daughter changed her mind, and that's when the "Salesman" Glenn went crazy on us. He called us niggers and flicked us off. Mind you, I'm with my 10 yr old son with Down Syndrome. He was livid with us for not buying that car. I've never had such a terrible experience in my life. I'm actually scared that he knows our address. I will be filling a case with the BBB tomorrow. Wow he even made my daughter put the license plate on the car. Mears should get rid of that man he was even using profanity while showing us the car features. I know they won't because I'm sure he treats his "other" clients well. I just cannot believe what happened. read more

If I could give no stars, I would. We came here to get a key code from the parts department because my friend needed a replacement key for his car. Before coming here, he called the dealer in GA where he got his car and they in turned told us to come here because the dealer would need to confirm our identity with the title and drivers license before giving us the key code. The dealer from GA called Mears Nissan and left a voicemail with the key code. After arriving to the dealer we first attempted to purchase a key from them but they didn't have one in stock. As soon as the parts person realized he wasn't going to make a sale, he no longer wanted to help us. We asked if he could provide us with the key code from the voicemail and he said no because if they're not making a key for us, then they can't give us the code. We asked to speak with the general manager but he was no help. The general manager, Darby, seemed more like a regular employee who started a week ago and not the actual GM. He was completely oblivious to our situation, he didn't provide any kind of actual assistance, and he said that without making a purchase, they weren't going to provide us with the key code to a vehicle that we own. I don't even know how this dealership is surviving because no one here understood the word customer service, it was like a foreign language to them with how we were treated. To no avail, we ended up calling Nissan national customer service number in order to get our key code. We also reported this dealership and their treatment of us to them as well. I'm not sure why something as small as a 5 digit code was so hard to provide when we had the proof of ownership of the vehicle. I will never recommend anyone to come to Mears Nissan for service, parts, or to make a purchase. My experience here was nothing less than terrible. read more
