I just want to give a shout out to B and her awesome team who literally came to my rescue today. I am always coming here for my family members meds, but today it was for me. I tested positive for Covid and my doctor called in my script that needed to be started right away. Without hesitation, team member B got my medicine ready by the time I drove to the store. The electronic signature app DOES NOT WORK properly even when you have signed it!!!!! Because the medication has to be kept refrigerated, I don't trust them keeping it at the correct temperature until it finally gets delivered..which in our case has taken 2 days and we still don't have it!!!! According to the app, RX Zippy picked up my husband's medication on Tuesday to deliver Wednesday morning and here it is Thursday, and we still don't have it and we can't track it. I've had to contact Anchor Pharmacy to track the medication. Hopefully they can find it !!! I hope Anchor will hire a more dependable delivery service!!!!

When I called Walgreens (sister pharmacy to Duane Reade which was my NYC pharmacy), they said it wouldn't be a problem at all to get my meds. I just had to go online and do an Rx transfer request. Lo and behold, after putting in this request online, my prescription was ready for pickup in 2 days. You really can't beat that. I have never heard of anything like that before. When I asked why they were opening the new item, the associate stated that it was because it was an exchange and claimed it was "their policy." I know that is not standard everywhere. If a product is defective, and I purchased it legitimately with my receipt, I absolutely have the right to exchange or return it within the return window. The item wasn't even 48 hours old. Another employee then came out of the office while I was trying to understand why this was being done. The entire interaction felt rude, unnecessary, and unprofessional. This is exactly why I prefer shopping at stores other than Walmart because there always seems to be unnecessary issues and confusion. This location on Pleasant Hill Road seriously needs improvement, not just with returns and exchanges, but with customer service overall. Half the time employees do not know where products are located when customers ask for help. Compare that to stores like Publix, where employees will actually walk customers to the aisle to help them find what they need. A customer should not have to deal with nonsense over a simple exchange for a defective product that was just purchased. It makes no sense and creates an unpleasant shopping experience.
