I went to Med Access today with a stopped up ear that was really bothering me. I've always had good experiences with them but today was great. Brian (RNP) came in, took a look and said we would wash it out to see what was there. He sent in Alan Duncan . I have never had a more gentle, calming experience as I did with him while he was digging in my ear canal! Bless his heart, he must have worked on that ear for at least an hour, never getting frustrated or rushed and determined to give me relief. Honestly, I'm not sure that I know of anyone with that kind of dedication to his work. They were both great. I would not hesitate to go back for any reason. Receptionist is very nice as well. I know their job is very stressful and a lot of meals get missed, but I've always been treated with care and compassion when I go there. read more

The facility was very clean and pleasant, the receptionist greeted us with a smile and was very helpful with our questions ,We waited to see the doctor for about ten min , The nurse called us back and she also was very friendly and nice . When she said the doctor will be in here in just a few minutes , she was , the doctor was very nice and explain to me about my condition . She listen to me and gave me easy instructions along with faxing my script to our drug store . I never had to sit and wait at all. I called and made an appointment, I like the reminder text they sent me to remind me of my appointment. When I checked in it was fast and easy. I didn't have to wait, I was seen fast. The staff is very friendly and shows compassion for your issue. After my vitals were taken, the Dr. was in the exam room within 2 minutes. 15 minutes later, I am done and on my way to get my prescription. I have been there 3 or 4 times. I received the same courtious service each time. The price is better than some other places, I don't have insurance and I can afford it. I will definitely return in the future. Another great visit under not so great circumstances. Everyone was very personable and professional . I went in with some severe back pain and the entire team was able to accommodate me and make sure I was comfortable. They kept me informed as to what was going on the entire time. I felt fully prepared for my next steps to take when I left. Ill have you know that I have an urgent care 10 minutes from my home and if I ever need to go I always go to this location (20 minutes away from home). I have used this clinic many times since it opened and I have never regretted having spent the time to go there. From the time you step in the door you are treated as if you're their only patient. I honestly feel like family. They understand the urgency of your visit and you feel the compassion as they begin assessing your problem. They are top notch in their field and look further into your problem to ensure nothing else is happening that may be causing the situation. Keep up the great work that you do there! Great Service Always! Very knowledgeable staff. If you have a situation they can't handle they will send you to a Hospital. For example, I burned my foot last Winter. Didn't think it was too bad. The folks are MedAccess treated it one time and I went back the following week and it wasn't an6 better. They immediately said I needed to go to the Burn Center at UNC HOSPITAL in Chapel Hill. The staff got me a room at the Hospital before I left. Had all necessary paperwork ready very quickly My foot now looks like nothing ever happened! Great Service! I have used the services of MedAccess Urgent Care a number of times when my primary care was closed or I just needed to be seen right away and didn't have an appointment. Each time I was treated very well by the staff and never felt my visit was unwarranted. The most pleasant part of my visit was Alan. I was seen yesterday. They were really busy but I was seen and treated in a reasonable amount of time. I think I was there 45 min-1 hr. Everyone was very nice and professional. Office is exceptionally clean. Called in antibiotics for me and said to come back if not better. They just called to check on me today. They treat you like they care. I like that. read more

Quick access when you are sick - in within 5 minutes after I registered up front - had been sick for a week with a bad cough I couldn't get rid of - they took vitals - xrays - said I had bronchitis -gave me a shot and prescriptions - should be better soon! read more
