After many experiences at different urgent cares throughout Glendale over the years, I HAD TO MAKE SURE I left a review for Mederi Urgent Care!! Last week, my mom had been dealing with a lingering cough for over a week. Waiting 4+ hours at Adventist's ER wasn't an option, so we looked up local urgent cares and came across Mederi. Every single person at this facility was incredibly kind and attentive to my mom. Even though they were busy that day, they still made us feel seen and cared for. From the receptionist who checked us in, to the office manager Serj, who made sure we and the other patients had help with any questions or the check-in process, to the medical assistant who helped get my mom situated for her visit, and finally to the PA, Emily, who was kind and thorough with her diagnosis and recommendations. The service we received here was by far the best we've experienced at any healthcare office. I wish I remembered everyone's names because they ALL deserve recognition!!! Today was my second time here. I came back after an allergy reaction. I definitely recommend this place for a quick emergency symptom. Everyone is super nice. Welcoming and on top of it. This is my second time coming to this particular urgent care, and I had a very similar experience as last time. Both times were not only easy, comforting and efficient, they also left me with the feeling that I actually liked the experience, which is absolutely unusual for an urgent care. Everything is clean and calm and the people are present, the doctors are caring and I left with peace of mind. So unusual for an urgent care because of what they're up against with dealing with illnesses and emergencies. I hope they can help other facilities to help them do the same. read more

I had an extremely good experience at Mederi Urgent! I went in for IV treatment to boost my immunity and hydration, and everything from start to finish was smooth and professional. The facility is brand new and very clean, you can tell they really take pride in maintaining a comfortable, welcoming environment. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. They explained everything clearly and checked in on me to make sure I was comfortable during the IV treatment. I left feeling refreshed, rehydrated, and overall much better. I biffed it on a run a few days ago, and decided it was time to get a professional take on the bruising and swelling. I called Mederi and they said they took my HMO insurance and group, so I went there, fully expecting that NOT to be the case, because health care never seems to be easy. Delighted to be wrong! Walked in, checked in on their kiosk thingy, was sent a text, set up my info. and then got checked in. The Physicians assistant was warm and helpful, the nurse who did my initial stats was also very cordial, and most importantly, when I told the receptionist that going into medical places gave me anxiety, she said, "that's ok. we'll get you checked out and the help that you need." This meant the world to me. Their forward facing person was not dismissive. I had to call back when I got my work release note to ask for a modification, and the person on the phone got it handled quickly and with care. Over all, this place knocked it out of the ballfield! I will add that if you are over a certain age, having to do the self check in on the kiosk and entering your info. via a text link may be daunting, so I hope they have a plan in place to help super seniors who don't come in with a young to help out. read more

My husbands sinuses are so bad he will get so sick because of it and of course on Sunday in the middle of the rain storm I found this place! All the urgent cares in our city had wait times were way too long. It was so simple to go online and reserve an appointment. My 4-year-old decided to stick a small Lego piece up his nose, and I couldn't see or get it out. I rushed over to Mederi and told them what happened and the doctor saw us right away. He looked up his nose with a scope and found the piece - it was pretty high up. Using a long, narrow tool, he removed it on the first try. The whole process was so quick and painless. My son just teared up a bit from the tool but was laughing moments later. The front desk staff and medical team were incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. During the exam, the RN and PA explained everything and verified with me prior to treatment Prescriptions were sent directing to my pharmacy.
