First off, let me share my one positive: the paramedic who took my vitals after my 3 hour wait was more than kind. He saw how upset and uncomfortable I was, and did what he could to calm me down. He is the sole reason alone that this review is bumped up to 2 stars. I hope he sees this and knows he made my experience so much better. As for my negative experience: I came here on a Saturday at 3:00. I threw out my back and had a bronchial infection, in a lot of pain, and couldn't breathe well. The secretaries were initially kind, and they told me it was busy, and they told me 5:00 would be the time I was seen. I expected a wait, as you always have to with these places, so that was no problem. *30 minutes later*, a woman comes in and gets checked in after me. Obviously disgruntled by the long wait with her husband in the car, she did some tricks, said some (and I quote) "magic words" and convinced the secretaries to put her ahead of me. Her symptoms did not actually appear to be severe, rather she just wanted to be seen as quickly as possible. It was obvious the secretaries were bonding with her and let it slide. They were having seamless, lighthearted conversations, while she was apparently "short of breath". She was seen at 5:15, the time I was supposed to be seen. Seemingly, the blonde secretary laughed after I mentioned I've been waiting much longer than her and continued eating her snacks by the computer. I could tell they weren't worried about me because I'm young, so they brushed me off, when truthfully I could NOT breathe well and my back was out. Maybe if I had mentioned those magic words a few more times, I would have been seen at my original time. I was in so much discomfort and pain, that I couldn't hold back tears at that point. I was finally called back at 6:00 and given a breathing treatment and muscle relaxers. This was single handedly the worst experience I've ever had at a Med Express, aside from the kind paramedic. Choose a DIFFERENT location if you care about your wellbeing. The secretary staff here should be ashamed of the way they handled that situation. read more

Came in with a head injury and wanted checked for a concussion. I waited over an hour to be taken back by the nurse, only for her to tell me it's going to be a very long wait before the doctor could see me because there were four people in front of me. I left without being seen. I am a nurse in a very busy doctors office, so I understand the long waits but they could have at least told me up front that it was going to be a long wait, I would've went to the ER and been seen faster. Maybe if they weren't all sitting on their phones the patients would be seen faster. read more

Never again !!!!! called a day in advance and got an 11am appointment. arrived at 10:55 . went to check in only to find a line of people . i was told sit and wait . 11:15 i walked up to check in , the girl wanted my insurance, i said tell me before i go threw that how long is my wait . she says well there's quite few in front of you . i said that's why i made an appointment. girl says your 11:00 appointment only guarantees you'll be seen today sometime !!!! I told the girl THIS IS BULL----- she agreed and said sir i only work here !!! what a joke ... And then i find only one person was seeing patients ... I went in to get checked out for Pneumonia and I was told I couldn't be seen for more than 3 hours because that's the next appointment time? Isn't this supposed to be an Urgent care?? Oh yeah, there was ONE person in the waiting room and 3 cars outside in their private lot. read more

If you need urgent care, please choose another option. This place only offers very limited walk in options, despite the misleading information both online and on the doors of their facility showing hours of operation 8am to 8pm. I arrived at 5:50 to a completely empty waiting room and was turned away by the receptionist as they were "fully booked" for the rest of the evening - I would need to return the next day. They also refused to look up availability at any of their nearby locations as it would "take them too long." If you are in need of care you should stay away from this location. read more

So, I'm trying to write this while sick with a clear mind. Here we go. I came here because I obviously wasn't feeling well. I first attempted to call and make a quick appointment with my PCP, but she's unavailable until the end of January (WHAT!!!). So that is NOT an option if you feel unwell right now. Enter the urgent care. They don't take appointments, so you walk in when you need the care instantly. The waiting room is "comfortable enough". Plenty of chairs and one tv. You get checked in quickly in the front with your license and insurance card. I found it interesting that they keep it until you go to a second desk to sign your life away that you acknowledge you may have to pay on top of your insurance, they don't discriminate, they have authorization to see you, and something about a HIPO (not in the medical industry, it's all greek to me). My total wait time before getting seen was a whopping 2 hours. If you're pressed for time, when you check in you can ask about the wait time. Two people that arrived before me left early because they said they couldn't wait any longer and would go somewhere else.... But it was the weekend and New Year's Eve, so there weren't many options and "Beggers can't be choosers". Bring something with you to keep you entertained! The only have one TV in a corner, so if it's on something you don't like you could be struggling to make it through the day. I've come here once before and was seen within 20 minutes, so I forgot to bring a book or iPad and I was really struggling this time. But the nurses, doctors, and staff are really friendly and nice. They also give you a follow up phone call to see if you're okay or need anything - super professional. The doctor I saw was nice enough to provide me names of specialists that she recommended for my condition, which she didn't have to do. She knew I wasn't from here so she went out of her way to be nice. Hopefully I never get sick again, but if I do I'd definitely come back to this MedExpress! read more

This is the 3rd time we have been there. 3rd time same experience. Rude front staff who checks you in. Poor waiting time when it's not busy. They just leave you be without checking. People come in because they are sick. Never again. If I were the owner reading this I would definitely pay closer attention to my business. My issue is not with the service I received it's with the billing. I received service in October 2023. I have insurance and also use my FSA card that I contribute money to annually. Well my insurance took too long to pay and my FSA card was charged for the service. My insurance eventually paid and I asked for a refund check be MAILED to me at my home address. I was told YES we can do this and my address, email, and phone number were ALL confirmed. Since the initial call on 12/2823. I called 2 more times, inquiring about my mailed refund. The last time I called on 2/5/24 I was told that the request had never been made for the mailed refund and it would be put in , the process takes 4-6 weeks. WHY was a refund made to my FSA card on 3/7/24. When I called the office I was told there is nothing they could do and they were Sorry for their mistake. That's it. Very incompetent and it was not a $20 copay it was for $195.99. read more

I saw a few negative reviews on here so i wanted to share my positive experience at this location! When i arrived (about 10:30am on a saturday) i was pleasantly surprised to see that it was not busy. I was actually the only patient there. After a short check in process i was taken back to get my vitals taken and explain why i was there. The staff members i encountered were friendly and listened to my symptoms. I was quickly but thoroughly examined and Stacy, the nurse practitioner came in and explained my results and course of treatment. My prescription was sent in to my local pharmacy and i was on my way! DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE SEEN IMMEDIATELY!!! Called and was put on hold for over 7 minutes. When someone finally did pick up I was told the "computer was in use and they only have one computer". I asked how long the wait would be and they said "won't be long". I don't know what long is to them but an hour later I was finally let in to do a simple pre-employment drug screen. Do not like this Med Express waited in the lobby for an hour as people kept coming in an getting seen right away, while I sat there. When I inquired about why I was still waiting as people continued to be seen I was told of their policy of taking people who claim they are in distress. We just moved to the area and I needed to seek care for my child who had terrible ear pain. He ended up having an outer ear infection and the CRNP that worked with us was absolutely fabulous. Kind, compassionate, informative and very good with explaining the condition and care. Every touch point on the phone, in person and on the way out was so pleasant and made this a very nice experience. Would highly recommend. read more

They got me in very quickly and everyone there was friendly. Sadly, they only had one of the medications they prescribed, but they got me in and processed very quickly. I arrived at 10:35 am. There were two patients in front of me. Roughly 30 mins later I was taken back to have my vitals done and then put in a freezing cold room. I was told someone would be in shortly. 11:48 am no one showed. At 12:05 I opened the door to ask how much longer they thought it'll be. There was a nurse and either a doctor or a male nurse wearing a stethoscope. Both looked at me the male quite annoyed and said 'there are two people in front of you.' I responded 'that's fine can you tell me an estimate of time?' The male muttered maybe 20 minutes. There are two people in front of you.' At this point I say to the room can I please have a refund. They took me to the front and advised my visit would be cancelled. No one bothered to ask if everything was okay, or even apologize for the delay. This is my second time and was my last. The front staff is very cold and unwelcoming. People go to an urgent care because as the name suggests they need care urgently, they are ill. It's not a free clinic you're paying a fee and the service should be up to par for a medical facility. You don't just take a patient dump them in a room, walk out, leave them sitting there for an hour without even checking in on them. 9/19/19 around 12 noon I'd check to see who the male / or doctor were sitting at the desk and I would definitely have a talk with him about compassion and customer service to patients. The staff here are very friendly and efficient. I got there and was processed and then was seen within 10 minutes. The doctor came in and was very nice. She answered all of my questions, gave me prescriptions for 2 antibiotics for my infected foot, a tetanus shot and an excuse for work. The staff were all very professional. This was my first visit to a MedExpress, and I was very impressed and satisfied. I discovered a deeply-embedded deer tick on my forearm late yesterday afternoon. The CVS Minute Clinic where I first stopped said the tick was too embedded for them to handle, so I went up the road to MedExpress. Very nice facility, and a friendly, welcoming staff. Dr. D'Eramo was very professional and friendly, too. I only had to wait about 15 minutes to get triaged and into the treatment room. Left with a couple of prescriptions to have filled. Good experience all the way around. I will go back there again if needed and will recommend them to others when given the chance. read more

We were visiting from out of state, it was our first time at this office, and it was Christmas Eve, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was the best experience I've ever had at a walk-in clinic!! Everyone, from the front desk staff to the back, were super kind and efficient. They even gave my son Gatorade and Tylenol while we waited for the results of his flu and strep tests. Extremely money hungry company that doesn't care about the finance of their customers. I have been there twice in the last 6 months for the same sinus infection. The first time I went in May and was prescribed an expensive prescription equivalent of Flonase. It didn't work. I couldn't deal with it anymore and went back in in August. I was finally prescribed a antibiotic for 10 days with no refills. I could finally breathe after 10 days but after the script ran out I slowly got the same symptoms hinting that I needed to be on the prescription a bit longer. I called to get a refill 1 month from the original antibiotic script and was told they would not refill the prescription and I needed to come back in to get the same prescription. At that point I had paid over $500 ($185 each visit plus the cost of tests and the prescriptions) with no resolution wanted MORE money to finally rid me of the issue I first visited them for back in May. read more
