I have never met a more rude staff of so called medical professionals in my life. The sign outside says to call and do not enter. I tried over a dozen time and the didn't pick up, so I walked in and was rudely told to go wait outside. First, This place tells you it costs $120 without insurance. (Our insurance is not yet active through work so this was our only option) then they charge you $149. Second you will only be seen by an Nurse Practitioner NOT A DOCTOR. My husbands vitals were taken and that's it and then told to go to an ER. So you will be charged to see a doctor but only be seen by a nurse and sent to another facility. The lack of true medical care is this world is insulting. For how they treated and robbed my husband they should have their medical licenses revoked. At the end they want you to sign a liability waiver but then use liability as their excuse to not treat you. These are the worst physicians facility and nurses I've seen in all my years of being a medic. We know exactly what is wrong with my husband he suffers from Chrons. All he needed was a prescription for Prednisone or a "Z pack" ... and his suffering would have ended within 12 hours. I repeat if you care for your life, your quality of care do NOT GO here!!!!! Went to Wheeling Med Express with abdominal pain. As I had been there before they had all my info on file. Took me in a room and the nurse said she was calling an ambulance to take me to Wheeling hospital. I explained that my wife was in the parking lot and that I would have her take me over. They still billed my insurer and I had to pay my deductible for being told they can't help me. I was there less than 5 minutes with no care provided. Stay away from this place unless you like paying for services that you do not receive. read more

I guess getting a drug test takes 45 minutes and the people who came in after you get to go before you. This is the worst place and I don't recommend coming here unless you plan on being here for hours in the waiting room. read more

I was there this afternoon, friendly staff, good location and clean premises. I waited 15-20 minutes to go in after check-in. I was diagnosed rather quickly, unfortunately I have a hernia that I need to take care of now. I would recommend if you don't have insurance. read more

I went to med express for a pregnancy test. I had already taken multiple home tests, all positive. I just needed a confirmation from a drs office for insurance purposes. I walk in, pay $127, and wait for about an hour. I finally get to go back and they let another woman go ahead of me who was there for a drug test, whatever. I finally go in to pee in a cup, and the metal door where you place your specimen when you're finished has another patients cup of pee still in it. Violation of hippa, but ok, moving on. I place my cup next to it, because they're both labeled with our names, and go wait in another room. I wait another 20 minutes and a nurse finally comes in and shuts the door. She says "you're not pregnant, we've tested it twice, and both were negative. Our tests are very accurate. We're you planning?" So I leave, go out to the car, call my boyfriend, start crying. A few days go by, I continue to take home tests, they're still positive. I make an appointment at planned parenthood, within minutes of them testing my specimen they come out and tell me I'm pregnant, and that I'm decently far along because of how fast the result came back. Fast forward 9 months later, 12/28/18 I have birth to my perfect son. So in conclusion, thanks for nothing med express, you owe me $127. read more

Was seen for covid symptoms. Made it clear I was breastfeeding multiple times. Yet still got sent home with medications UNSAFE to take while nursing. No communication, the whole staff just stares at you and explains NOTHING. read more

I would like to clarify that I am reviewing the elm grove medexpress, as im not entirely sure thats what im posting this under. I took my partner here for a drug test for a new job. As soon as we walked in, the woman at the main desk was short with us. Did you know that a drug test costs more if the result is positive? We didn't, but they seemed to believe that would be a determining factor in our descision to pay out of pocket for this as they refuse insurance for these tests. The wait was longer than necessary, and when I went up to ask about it, I was told we were being serviced 'first come, first served', even after seeing a man who'd arrived after we had walk up and make a scene before being taken back immediately. She was rude every time I spoke, often cutting me off to interrupt even short sentences and questions. By the way- they passed. read more

I'm traveling across country from Seattle to New Jersey. I didn't expect to have to go to a walk in clinic, but sometimes things happen. This place happened to be the closest place for me to stop off the freeway. Read their website. It sounded like patient care was their top priority. From I could tell, their website said that patient concerns and speedy service was their specialty. Well that's a load of crock. So I come in, some lady at the counter is rushing to take my insurance card and Id. Could care less why I need to be seen. Doesn't explain anything else. 15 minutes later, I go up to the counter and ask about my card. She said someone else will call my name and assist me. Ok fine. Another 15 minutes later. A man calls my names, asks from my personal info, then tells me I have to pay $40. I questioned it because I have never had to pay that. Always been another co pay, but he was insistent. They asked me to sign a Buh of agreements without reading them first. So bizarre to me. 15 min later, my name is called back. They just take some vitals and take me to my room to wait another 20 minutes I have to use the restroom.. I open the door, see an old lady nurse. I said "hi excuse me, " and she completely ignores me and goes and sits down. Unreal. I asked another women.. Who ended up being the "nurse" to help me. She seemed really nice but not educated enough to treat someone with a kidney disease. I told her i get this often and it's a treat the symptoms kind of thing.. Didn't matter. Told me, after WASTING my time, that she hopes I make it to my destination and if it gets worse ... Got to E.R. That's it. Service sucked, staff sucked, facility was dirty, and they don't care at all about you. Do NOT go here. read more

Being from out of state, I showed up without a medical card the staff was very patient and finally got my card numbers 30 minutes from closing , they went out of their way of my circumstances. Very professional from the receptionist to the doctor on staff! If I didn't live 150 miles from here I'd make it over my regular dr thanks again. read more

I have gone to this MedExpress twice. Once when I was having severe cramping and abdominal pain and was immediately referred to the ER. $50 copay to be told to go to the ER for something that was not an emergency. The second time was this past Wednesday. I had not gone to the bathroom in 14 days and was having a lot of pain and bloating. They did an x-ray and told me to go to the ER. The ER was not happy to take in a patient for severe constipation, checked the X-Ray, gave me an enema that didn't work, and then sent me home. I would not recommend going here unless you already know what is wrong with you and know it can be treated easily. They will not attempt to treat or diagnose anything. However, I do have to give them 3 stars because this time they did call 2 days after my visit to see if I was feeling better. read more

I was there to get a simple T-spot TB blood test for my employer. I got there 7:50 am and waited till they opened at 8am. I was the first person there. Amy, at the 1st window was rude and unfriendly, mean and not professional at all. Her customer services skilled were horrible. She never smiled. She didn't even say 'good morning' to me or other folks. From her mannerisms, I think she hated her job. I waited and waited for over 30 minutes while other people came to this facility. They were all called back and again I waited. Finally after another 40 minutes, I went up to another window , Leslie, who was extremely nice and found out the 'machine broke'' but AMY failed to inform me. Leslie got the ball rolling and I was then waited on for my blood test. After a week or so, my company informed me that my test had to be done again as 'MED EXPRESS somehow LOST the tube of blood! I think 100% that this AMY had something to do with it being 'lost'. I went to a hospital to get this done without any issues Never again will I use this MED EXPRESS.. read more
