She is having extreme pain in her knee, and we will be leaving for a honeymoon next week. The Sports Medicine Associates were much too busy to answer their phone... they have a system that says it will send you a text message so you can communicate with their 'portal' Klara. I got the automated message on the portal, and left a detailed message that we'd like to have an appointment so that she will be able to walk on our honeymoon. The automated Klara portal said someone would be calling within 24 hrs. Nope... nothing but crickets... The next day (24 hrs after they promised to call) I left another message with the Klara portal. Again... nothing... no response. By now, I'm thinking... these guys are so busy, they don't have a receptionist or office manager that can call us back. Finally, we get a message on the 18th, asking if we can come in on the 19th. The address they give is in San Antonio, in the Medical Center area. My fiancée cannot stand to drive into San Antonio for anything... we were hoping that someone in Boerne could help her. So we ended up saying "forget about it". For all I know, the doctors at this practice might be really talented. We didn't get that far. Just know that they are way too busy to talk to you. Don't worry... their AI portal will also ignore your requests too.

Initailly I was not in much pain do to a nerve block. After about an half hour,my pain in my shoulder was excruciating.I asked the night nurse about managing my pain. She scolded me from getting out of my bed, because if I get up she has to write a report. I told her I could care less if she has to do he job and I needed pain medication. After another hour , I got up up from my bed and demanded pain medication, ir Im calling a uber and leaving. Eventually my surgeon came by and I told him my situation. And he gave me me a 15 milligram morphine tablet. I called a girlfriend of mine to pick me up. I left at 1am, AMA after 5 hours crying due to the pain.I had pain medication at home. Thank the Lord I left.The doctor apologized, but he needs to be charged with malpractice for the complete disregard of my pain following surgery. Anyone agree?
