Initailly I was not in much pain do to a nerve block. After about an half hour,my pain in my shoulder was excruciating.I asked the night nurse about managing my pain. She scolded me from getting out of my bed, because if I get up she has to write a report. I told her I could care less if she has to do he job and I needed pain medication. After another hour , I got up up from my bed and demanded pain medication, ir Im calling a uber and leaving. Eventually my surgeon came by and I told him my situation. And he gave me me a 15 milligram morphine tablet. I called a girlfriend of mine to pick me up. I left at 1am, AMA after 5 hours crying due to the pain.I had pain medication at home.
