I was in search of a wheelchair and came upon this place on Yelp. I called at 11am on a Saturday and was told by a nice lady that yes they were open but if I arrived and the door was locked, to give her a call so she could open the door for us. I arrived about 30 minutes later and the door was locked. Called the number listed and the nice lady who answered the phone earlier said she would send someone to come open up the shop in a few minutes and to wait there momentarily. Over 20 minutes later and 2 additional phone calls, a man finally arrives at the shop apologizing about not being there and opens up the shop for us. Walking in, the place is a bit cluttered but they have a good selection of wheelchairs and other various medical equipment. The sales person helped us quickly find a lightweight transport wheelchair and let us try it out. There were no prices listed on any equipment in the store so we perused online to get the gist of how much we would be spending. Well, once we agreed on which wheelchair we wanted to buy we asked for the price and was told it was $100 over what we had expected to pay. That really frustrated us and he flat out told us the price was not negotiable but he would take off $20 since we had to wait for him to open up the store. I fully support small businesses but I also would like full transparency and don't enjoy bargaining. This place needs to list their prices and stick with it. Overall, if you're desperate for medical supplies, I'm sure you can find it in this place. But call before you waste your time coming here and also be prepared to spend $$ over typical pricing.

    If I could give them less than 0 stars I would. My insurance company selected this company to…read moreprovide my cpap supplies. The last 3 deliveries I received under that coverage in 2023 contained the incorrect equipment. I contacted Debra in October to let them know about the problem and requested they switch it out. She asked me to bring the 3 masks and incorrect filters to her and I did. Then I was told she would get it taken care of. Fast forward to May 2024 and SHE STILL HAS NOT remedied the problem. Debra NEVER called to follow up with me. Each phone call or text correspondence was from me inquiring about the status. She kept saying there was a problem at the warehouse or the product design had been changed, but she always ended by saying she would take care of it. Monday, May 16 2024, after exhausting all measures of trying to extend the lifespan of the equipment I already had in use, (i.e. cleaning and re-using hoses, filters, and masks I already had) I went back to the office and spoke with Debra. It was at this time she told me she was still working on it, but she couldn't do anything until she spoke with her manager. In SEVEN WHOLE MONTHS she'd NEVER brought up her manager or the fact that she had to speak with her. I told her if I hadn't heard from her by EOD Tuesday, I would call back up there. Well of course she didn't call, why would she? This time when I called, the manager Onje (I think that is how she pronounced it. When I asked her to spell it, she refused.) answered and let me tell you she is a doozy! If "I refuse to take accountability for my employees, their laziness, and the mistakes they make" was a person, her face would most assuredly be the poster child! We went round and round about the situation and her response was, well give me your new insurance information and I can take care of it. ABSOLUTELY NOT! Why would I give the new information so they could falsely bill them when the issue happened under my previous coverage????? After refusing to handle the issue correctly, she ended up hanging up in my face. Imagine that! They were completely wrong and she was the one with the attitude. She ended up calling back and asking me to calm down. Sweetheart calm went out the window a long time ago. I'm on my way to pick up the items I dropped LAST YEAR and yall don't have to worry about me another moment! This place is a complete scam and the workers have no accountability for their mistakes. Please don't allow your family members be taken advantage by them. Also, they are no longer located on Stella Link. That location closed over a year ago. The new location is 8572 Katy Fwy #109, Houston, TX 77024. Additionally, Onje told me there was not a corporate office, but she gave me a number to file a complaint. Surprise! The number is the exact same phone number listed for this location and all complaints go her. What a class act!

    Had a very mediocre experience. Called ahead a few days before to see if they had a nebulizer in…read morestock. They did and they said they accepted my insurance. Came into the store a days later. I told the clerk what I was there for and she pointed me to the item. She then asked if I had insurance and with who and I gave her the name and she said they worked with them. I grab the item and then she says something to the effect that I can't just take it... there's a process, and that she had to contact my insurance to see about my coverage. There was nothing in her tone that was kind or friendly, or service-minded(she didn't say how long, when I could get the item...nothing). I explained that I had called a few days before and had I known that this was such a process, I would have taken action sooner. I then said, I will just pay for it out of pocket and be reimbursed. As she's ringing me up she says " well I mean it could take 30-40 minutes". At that point, I was just frustrated because I kept getting bit of pieces of information at a time. I started to wonder if this was a bait and switch type of situation where they tell you they take insurance but then make the process sound so complicated you just pay for the item and handle the reimbursement on your own?I'm not sure, all I know is that on that day with that clerk I didn't have the best experience. Even as I paid there were issues with her not reading my card correctly and attempting to reject my payment even though she made a clerical error ( twice I might add with no apology). So, I'm glad with the people who recently wrote reviews had a great experience - I did not. On the upside and the reason for three stars versus two. The place is easy to get to, there's parking out front, and the establishment itself is clean and orderly. UPDATE - the owner or manager of this establishment did attempt to reach me. It doesn't change my review of the service received,but I do appreciate the attempt made to discuss the issue.
