I LOVE Sue at Mindful Massage! I always have anxiety when someone is touching me (especially if I…read moredon't know them). Sue was very conscientious of that. Her communications skills are amazing. She asked several times "is this ok?" or "is this to much or not enough". Sue remembered my likes and dislikes and kept a mental rolodex for the next time (so nice not to have to repeat yourself!). She always kept me informed of what she was going to do before she did it. I think she even asked if I would like for her to stop talking once I got the hang of it. Her sheet work is also phenomenal! I'm pretty chesty and was worried about exposing myself. Sue assured me it wouldn't happen and if it did ...no big deal! Happy to say she must be a magician too! That sheet never came untucked even when I rolled over! Sue focused on my trouble spots (mainly lower back and legs). She paid attention to every inch even some places I didn't think were important... like toes! Who knew those could feel amazing! (Sue, that's who). By the time I left I was anxiety free and so relaxed. My legs felt like butter and all I wanted to do was float home and relax! Sue is the only person I will see from now on! Sue made the entire experience about me and what I wanted and was comfortable with. I'm pretty positive I'm one of those "needy clients", but with Sue I felt comfortable and she accommodated everything. And the rate reduction isn't that much less than for non-members. I discovered Jeannette through a website search. Her rates are about half the price of most other places. I paid $40.00 for a 60 minute full-body massage. I came for a sports oriented massage since I recently began weigh lifting and often become tight in the neck and shoulders. She was very thorough. I will be a repeat customer for sure.

I scheduled about a month in advance and was eagerly awaiting my massage. They day of l, I receieved a text from a random number saying she had to reschedule my appointment because she was in the hospital due to her calories being low from starting a new weight lifting program. She was apologetic and rescheduled me for Monday. Then she texted me monday to reachedule again, hours before. Long story short this contiuined every few days and it's now a month later and I never received a massage. She became less and less apologetic each time she rescheduled. She told me the last time that she had someone else lined up in case she had to cancel again and then still cancelled and said that person couldnt either. I finally stopped wasting my time and had to do a trade in through groupon because they wouldnt issue a refund because it had been so long. I understand things come up in life and was more than understanding of the first few cancellations. But, it soon was just a waste of my time and energy and she never offered anyway to make it right.
