I wish I had checked Yelp to read all the bad reviews of this AWFUL business before booking. Brian Stolley allegedly received his medical licensing from Southwestern in Dallas, and he runs this center with toxic incompetence -- zero regard for CONSENT, women's bodies or boundaries. The staff are constantly apologizing for him "he's our medical director" "he's the doctor" meanwhile he will barge in while you are naked and completely BOTCH TREATMENTS, multiple times. Come here if you want to waste time and money having a beauty treatment ruined by a sloppy, negligent, unprofessional and bumbling man while the female team around him follow his absurd directives in rote lockstep and are unable to finish your treatment because Brian Stolley is so clueless and sloppy. Do not come here if you are seeking competence. Brian Stolley forced me to lie naked on the treatment table with just a small paper towel sized mat covering me while he haphazardly lasered parts of my body that had nothing to do with my treatment area. When I protested because I was uncomfortable with him being in the room while I was naked, he cancelled my treatment and said he was just going to test laser settings on all these different parts of my body. He will pretend to see things or not see things on your skin to gaslight you when you notice his erratic carelessness. The staff pretend they do this "for your safety." This place is a joke. If MediSpa Maui truly cared about safety or consent, they could simply hire competent practitioners who are diligent, skilled, well-trained and good at their jobs. You don't need some idiot "medical director" barging in pretending to oversee treatment of naked women to ensure medical safety. Hire competent staff and trust them to do their jobs. Stop violating people's boundaries, it's creepy and unprofessional bordering medical misconduct. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Go anywhere else, this place sucks. read more

I went here today for a consultation and was very impressed with the care and warmth I received. To begin, the woman who provided me with my paperwork greeted me with a smile, a nice first impression at a new establishment. The woman who did my consultation, Tawny, was very knowledgable, personable and seemed to care about directing me to a service that would yield the best results. Since I have some concerns around my hypermobile skin, she asked Dr Stolley to drop in and speak with me. He had an easy going, warm disposition that put me at ease. Often we are in such places to address areas of our bodies or faces that create insecurity, and so of course the experience can be stressful or embarrassing but I felt cared for in a way that made me very comfortable. Finally, Dr Stolley asked Dr Jay to come speak with me about the possibility of adding some peptides to my plan to better support my goals. Dr Jay was also a very kind, present, professional and took time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. I never felt rushed and all three of them treated my questions as valid and deserving of their time. Furthermore, I have been to Medi spas where frankly the people working there were a little snooty so I deeply appreciate that I didn't have that experience here. read more

I would never go back to have anything done here for many reasons, but most importantly there is a great possibility that you will have your face ruined. I have never felt compelled to write a Yelp review before but after my most recent visit I wanted to give a huge shout out to Courtney the nurse. Courtney has treated my several times, Botox and fillers, and every time I leave looking rejuvenated and refreshed. She is skilled in enhancing and restoring your look, while not creating an overly "done" aesthetic which can be all too common with fillers. The staff there is welcoming and the spa offers specials consistently with competitive pricing. These people do not care about you. If you have a concern or feel uncomfortable about something or are unhappy for any reason, they somehow turn it around on you, or ignore you, minimize what you think and how you feel, make it your fault, and they DO NOT DO ANYTHING to remedy the situation. A take your money and run sort of establishment. They do not take the time necessary for a person to feel comfortable, nor tolerate many questions...absolutely zero patience, w lack of optimal results. Definitely a turn and burn kind of establishment, if you will. Trust us trust us they say and then they mess up your skin/face and give you zero options and take zero accountability.... The nurse they have there, her name is Sally, and i am sad to say but she is awful, absolutely intolerable and may in fact be one of the worst excuses for a human being, that I have unfortunately encountered. Genuinely a stuck up little girl w a superficial stick up her ass, at best. I will never go back to this establishment and it's most definitely due to her. She is starting to look like a clown anyway and that's definitely not the look that I am going for. Their superficiality and lack of genuine care is apparent from the moment you enter their building. While I have had Botox and dysport injections many times before, I went in with a budget that was comfortable to me and informed the staff of what I was comfortable with and the amount of product that was currently working for me. The snotty attitude from the staff the moment you walk into this place, the cold, awkward-let me take photos of you "before", to sitting you on a cold chair to have an assistant bully you into purchasing WAY more Botox than you need or are comfortable with or even NEED...these ppl are crooks. Hey, if I want to go into a spa, and PAY YOU for services...treat me like it's a high end spa without the sales pitch, guilt and snotty service. DON'T SAY YOU WEREN'T WARNED!!! I want to get this out there so that others will not fall victim to the horrific situation I am personally dealing with for the last year! I will not fall by the wayside and not NOT stand up for what I believe and let anyone not take care of something they did to me. I have swallowed my patience for the last year and I will not keep silent any longer!!! This is for anyone that will listen to what can happen injecting fillers, which I've been doing for the last 30 years of my life and never had one doctor do to me what this man has done! This man (BRIAN) injected me with RESTYLANE SILK in an area of the eye pad that I did not want put there, but he decided on his own that's what I need. I called the following week to explain I have horrific bruising what I thought to be bruising completely over the entire eye pad areas. I left several messages and mentioned my concerns that he might want to take a look at what is happening. This was December 2021 and I had to wait till he got back from his vacation to finally come in for a visit. I also mentioned to him at the time he did the filler injections...I said...."WOW, OUT OF ALL THE INJECTIONS YOU JUST GAVE ME...THESE 2 REALLY HURT ME. Any experienced doctor would know immediately what happened and why this really hurt me. AT THAT MOMENT...HE COULD HAVE INJECTED THE HYLARONIDISE and avoided this ALL TOGETHER. I stated..I've been doing this for over 30 years and never once NOT ONCE did any injections ever hurt me. I don't even get numbing before any injections. And why wasn't any assistant with him in the room during these injections. Kendall was always there, but I noticed she was no longer by his side for the last several or more times. Visit number 1. He says to me. looking at my black/blue situation....oh oh, well, when things like this happen we have a "CURTESY LASER" treatment that we offer. I was like...Ok great, let's get this off..TAKE NOTE I'M GUESSING THIS IS BRUISING because that's what he's telling me at this point that this is what it is. He says this is very common and almost 99% common that everyone bruises after infections. These (bruises) were at least 2 inches long. This was not your typical bruising after injections almost 3 weeks later. He performs the LASER TREATMENT FOR BRUISING NOT BLOOD!!! After the 1st laser treatment, he wants me to come back for a second treatment in 2 weeks. When I came back I had been analyzing my skin for the 2 weeks and I started to notice criss crossing patterns (WRINKLES) and I said to him..I said...is this damaging my skin..."oh no no, in fact laser helps with wrinkles too, BUT I NEVER HAD THIS IN THAT AREA BEFORE....I specifically said to him...what in GODS name did you do to my skin? Word for word he said..."I BROKE THE BLOOD VESSELS BY PUTTING THE FILLER INTO THEM" I was in shock, but I'm not a doctor and I'm still believing this is BRUISING not BLOOD under the skin. He then tells me that the filler he injected SILK is now in the vessels mixed with the blood. So, if this is now blood mixed with filler why am I getting laser treatments? How does bruising last for 4 months and I still have it ....March 2022. I go back 2 weeks later for the 3rd laser treatment. It still looks the same but he says to me, we can take another route and drain the vessels but you will have wrinkles in those areas...which horrified the hell out of me, or he says to me word for word..."JUST COVER THEM WITH SHIMMER POWDER" you won't even see them. I was in absolute shock. So, I was so scared about the draining that I said, look, lets just do this laser and see how this one goes...YEAH RIGHT AS IF I KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT but I was so scared, I thought I'd do the lesser of the 2 evils. He then says to me..you can also put a creams like hydroquinone on this and I can put a prescription in and you can pick it up at the pharmacy. I said..NO, YOU CAN HAVE IT DELIVERED HERE and I'll come get it from you..."knowing full well I wasn't going to pay for something he did to my face" He says..."how can I pick up a prescription in your name?" I'm like why in GODS name would I pay for something he has done to me? So after the 3rd laser and another 2 weeks go by, I can see he needs to take another route, and finally he drains the vessels and I'm to come back 2 more weeks later. I noticed swelling in certain areas of the pads on both sides. 1/2 moon sunken areas right under the eyes in the pad areas. I was in tears. I was so distraught, Dana takes pictures of me crying so when this man comes back in the room to visit with me....HANG ON TO YOUR SEATS PEOPLE...this is what is he says to me....in a stern voice "holds both hands wide apart and says...YOU'RE MAKING A SITUATION THIS BIG, WHEN IN REALITY IT'S MORE LIKE THIS...and holds in hands much closer together". In my head, I said to myself...HOW DARE HE MINIMIZE THE SEVERITY OF MY SITUATION. I'm done! HE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT HE DID! read more

Today i had an appointment at medispa maui in Kihei and I could not me more disappointed with the unprofessionalism and treatment i received at this location as a new patient. I called to make my appointment with time, I paid my deposit, I was called twice to confirm my appointment and was even given prices and estimate. I took my day off of a busy work day just to be able to go to my appointment just to get there and be told they cant assist me because there was a scheduling issue , that the doctor was not available and they dont take new patients without him. I was talked like it was kind of my fault that they had a problem with their communication , me a new maui resident had the worst morning thanks to the staff of this location.If you are looking for a new place to get your treatments i would definitely not recommend this office dont deserve the money of hard working customers . read more

The ladies at the front desk are always so nice and know what they are talking about. My two go to services are the hydrafacial and dermaplaning with Bailey.. It wasn't until I found Jerusa that my skin truly started taking a turn or the better. She is SO knowledgeable and good at what she does. Just awesome. I received treatments from her once to twice a month. Through her treatments and recommended at home regimes, I've seen amazing improvement. The unfortunate part that i can't stop thinking about over a year later is that cool sculpting completely ruined my legs. I got it done on my inner thighs at age 24 and i got several treatments done. The laxity and composition of my thighs have changed drastically. There is no significant improvement for the thousands of dollars i paid for the treatment & everyday i look in the mirror or down at my legs or see them while I'm running i am Reminded of the enormous mistake i made getting this done. I was never told that this was a possibility. That the machine would suck up my skin and leave it saggy. Scars that were on the middle of my inner thighs are now by my knees. All of my skin has fallen towards my knees! I am to young to be dealing with this. It has been over a year since my first treatment and i am upset about this almost everyday. They recommend i used the tightening serum by skinceuticals and i spent a good close to $400 buying those and using it religiously to try and fix the problem. I went to a plastic surgeons just recently and he even could tell the shocking laxity problem i had in my thighs from this. Mind you i am now newly 26 and 5'6 & 135 pounds. Very active very fit. This whole thing terrifies me and makes me not want to do anything to my body again. Kimberley thought was so amazing and i wish i had listened to her when she told me i should get the skin tightening procedure but i honestly didn't think that it would get this bad. Went in for a hydrafacial with a friend. I knew it was wayyyy overpriced (been getting them in LA for half what they charged here) but shelled out the $250 and went for it anyway. Upon arrival customer service seemed unfriendly and less than accommodating but i wasn't too bothered. My appointment seemed rushed from the start and my aesthetician on edge, but again i didn't really mind any of this i was just hoping for a quality facial. The peel seemed to burn quite intensely (never happened before), the extractions were ineffective, my pores still clogged, however i could see marks where she'd tried to dig in unsuccessfully. The right side of my nose bled for a few days after and had a scab. Overall skin still felt dry. I tipped 20% because anything less is against my religion but emailed today, hoping to bestow some feedback. IMO a full return (minus gratuity for the aesthetician) would've been the right thing to do given how unhappy i was with the experience however instead i was offered 20% next time i come, even though I'd made it quite clear, i won't be coming back. Sad way to do business, my friend and i get regular facials and dropped somewhere near $500 that day, but a good reminder for businesses to be better and do better than this! read more

I highly recommend seeking elsewhere. Approximately 5 years ago I was a patient there getting laser right before my wedding. The laser tech one put it on an extremely high setting much too high for my skin..I was not given protective eye wear and she slipped while doing my forehead and layered off my eyebrow. As you know this is basically same type of laser used for hair removal so the eyebrow never grew back to its normal state and I was given a bottle of Latisse(yes one bottle) and sent on my way. I was told the next laser would be free, I was very upset but felt as tho I was owed something so I returned. A different laser tech did next laser because they fired the one who did mine(which she saw me in Walmart and told me she was fired because of ME while I am with my family in line) AND they did not honor the next free treatment so I was clearly upset paid and left because I do honestly hate confrontation like that. I wrote numerous letters with photos attached expressing my concern and dissatisfaction, there was NO response at all. However every where I went on island people would tell me "they heard the story" it even stretched as far as Kansas City laser office. The fact that I was also not given eyewear to wear during treatment it could have been MUCH worse. I decided to return to this office after 4 years because let's be honest it's a small island with limited options and they had "upgraded"offices and seemed more professional. I expressed my deep concern and fear each time I did laser there..I was given a new tech(not my normal girl) and while she was doing the treatment the machine would not switch on and I could hear them talking under their breath about it, but I assumed it was just human error. When she got to a spot right under my eye I heard a sound like someone had put aluminum foil in a microwave..now if u have had laser u know that it does NOT sound like that. It instantly burned(as in real burn) and smelled of burned flesh. I immediately asked her if she burned me and her response was "no no but there was some SMOKAGE" she quickly finished not even doing opposing eye and put cold towel on my face. I was walked to the front where I then told the front girls of what happened. They said go home and put ice on it. I left in shock and confused of what happened. As soon as I got home it started to blister. I immediately text the technician to let her know. I washed my face that night and the blister slid off leaving raw skin there. I text her again and she said she would talk to the doctor but all is fine, and I said clearly it is not. These texts, emails, and phone calls went on for a month and half. They pushed me off, blamed everything from my skin to a piece of stencil that was not even used. It took a over a month and half to get my money back for treatment and a lot of sadness for me to know I'm permanently scarred. And the way I was treated there after it happened yet again was appalling. I am permanent scarred for life and have to now get treatment for a very large scar caused by this. I have recently found out I am not the only person that has been burned and blistered there..there are three of us on the west side that I know of alone. This has been a very long and traumatic experience with them and I hate to be this way but do not get laser there. I have medical records, medical bills, copies of emails and doctors reports. Trust me when I say I do not like writing such negative things especially on such a small island, because it never ends well for the person complaining but I feel as tho I should warn people of the experience I have had there so it does not happen again. read more

Let me sum up this long review by saying I strongly recommend MediSpa Maui. Ask for Fletcha if you have questions or are have issues making a reservation. I'm writing a review today because I saw a review on here from March 2019 talking about not getting callbacks/bad customer service. I actually had the same experience at that time. I was extremely annoyed, and felt personally offended. I just wanted to come in and get a service done and give them a bunch of money. After I cooled off I thought about customer complaints in my own business, and I thought of my past experiences at MediSpa. Of course, I came to the conclusion that it wasn't personal. There was probably an internal shakeup that was effecting them greatly (maybe they lost a pillar of their business - an office manager, a head receptionist, etc...) Unfortunately, your face to the public can be a single person and one bad egg can tarnish your image. You need someone to answer the phones and have no choice but to hire a less than ideal receptionist; For new clients when they've only met one employee that's the whole of who you are to that client. It's devastating for owners and longtime employees who work hard every day to do and be their very best. This is why my experiences from March 2019 aren't reflected in my star rating. My experience from that time is the exact opposite of my normal experience. They have always treated me like a VIP and have taken a lot of time with me in our sessions (filler and Botox). Courtney is so skilled, meticulous, and professional. She was trained by Dr. Stolley so I've experienced the same level of attention to detail from him. The nurse aides (assistants?) are so sweet and helpful, always holding my hand when I need it and rubbing a metal distraction tool on the other side of my face (I'm sure that's the medical name for it.) My results are beautiful and long lasting. I love that they poke me a bunch of times to make sure that the filler is evenly dispersed, instead of a few pokes with too much filler in one place. Also, my lips look so beautiful, I still don't have lip lines and it's been a year. The Botox is perfectly done, so I still have expressions but my face is no longer stuck in a grimace. They even botox a bit under my lips because I was permafrowning. I am beyond happy with my results. I also appreciate that when I've wanted to go full tilt they've asked me to let the results settle in a bit first and then add more. I also loved that when I came in as a new client Fletcha actually sat me down to go over my long term goals and areas of concerns. She also advised me against doing too much too quickly. She normally sets up my appointments, sometimes going back and forth with me several times over email when I'm too busy to speak on the phone. (Sorry to digress again but I need to say - In March I couldn't find Fletcha's email so it was actually my first time speaking to someone who didn't know me. Dr. Stolley Is the best! wow I was very pleased ! just when I thought Maui had nothing to offer as far as good customer service and a friendly environment I visited MediSpa Maui! I went in for under eye fillers (Belotero) for my deep eye hollows. I am in my late 20's and I am not the best patient because I get really dizzy and lightheaded when I get fillers done..I was very pleased when I realized Dr.Stolley was very kind and Patient with me! I halfway through the procedure I got really dizzy and he took very good care of me, by elevating my feet and giving me something to drink :) he made me feel not embarrassed. He also talked to me through the whole procedure about his back round and life to keep my mind off of the procedure. He also has a beautiful staff that were very outgoing and kind to me! I am so happy to have found MediSpa Maui on Yelp. As a new resident to Maui, it has been a challenge to find new doctors, hair dressers, etc. You get so used to the ones you've used for years and to start off with someone new in a new place can be intimidating. Well all my fears were put to rest at MediSpa Maui. I went in for botox. Their prices were the same as I was used paying on the Mainland, which was a relief and Dr. Stolley came in to meet me even though I was having Courtney do my injections. That is the very first time I've ever had the doctor come in to meet me at an office where I was getting Botox and the nurse was doing injections. I thought that was great. He was very nice and professional. There was absolutely no upselling of any kind, which was also a relief. The staff was wonderful and Courtney is amazing. I had botox done and she was incredible. This place is AMAZING. I have gotten various treatments here, all with incredible results. But the best part of Medispa is most definitely the staff. Everyone is SO sweet and friendly, and they make you feel like you are part of the family. They call you by first name as soon as you walk in the door, and they seem to genuinely enjoy spending time with their patients. Additionally, Dr. Stolley is a fantastic Dr. Today he patiently answered all of my questions and gave me complete details and explanations, despite the fact that I was his last appointment of the day and it was past 5 o'clock.
