This one is located in New Haven and is in walking to other great dining locations. Parking can be found on-street and nearby garages. I stopped in for a Thai iced bubble tea with grass jelly. There were a few kiosks there you can place your order at. The location was big with plenty of tables and seats. I got my drink within 10 minutes and it was great; I like mine with less ice and less sugar. I look forward to going back to try out their ramen and poke bowls.

I got my drink, and while waiting for a second drink another older man came in and ordered at the cashier. He ended up taking our second drink, which we didn't know until his drink was ready. The guy working really quickly apologized, gave us that man's drink, and remade the proper drink for us very quickly. The jasmine milk tea I ordered was great, slightly tart (got less sweet) and the boba was a bit more firm than I'd like but not too bad! The strawberry lemon drink was a bit more lemon than strawberry but tasted great. And our extra strawberry smoothie was delicious! The cafe was cute and quiet at the time, great place to spend some time!

I ordered a salad bowl, and the ordering process is actually kind of interesting. They give you a paper with different options, and you check off what you want in your bowl. Everything came out pretty quickly, but the food isn't exactly hot, more like warm. Only the protein and rice are cooked, while any veggies you add come out cold, which is something to keep in mind. I also tried the pork gyoza, which were just okay. The overall service was also pretty average; the workers weren't particularly friendly. Overall, it was an okay experience, but nothing that really stood out.

You can taste how much love these items are made with. Beautiful colors in the cups and wonderful aroma from the soups and ramen dishes. Truly the service is nice, the ppl at the front are courteous and patient. I appreciate their service. The decor is pretty and the store looks very clean. You can order out or eat in. Prices vary by dish or drink. I wouldve posted pics but I devoured it all.

We had one of each. They offer many standard flavor options like taro, brown sugar and traditional milk tea, and several bubble options ranging from standard tapioca, peal, and fruit flavors. And the premium options are essentially a dessert is a cup! Tai chi tea also offers food options with a full quick service restaurant inside. If you only order tea, the area to wait in the front of the store is on the small side, but you can grab a seat at a table while you wait.

We've found this surprisingly hard to find around Stony Brook. We usually have my inlaws bring food in from Commack when we want good Chinese, but we were really hoping to find a local spot that hits the spot. The other night we asked our nanny, who has lived in the neighborhood for a lot longer than us, to suggest a place for great Chinese. To our surprise she suggested Tai Chi. We were like, what? The bubble tea place? But she wasn't kidding, so we gave it a try. And WOW. We weren't disappointed! This is going to be our go-to place for great Chinese food standards. It was hot, delicious, good portion sizes, and the price point was right. Highly recommend for what we ordered, and looking forward to trying other menu items soon.

The forms are like calming, moving meditations I can settle back into whenever I'm feeling tense or anxious. Sad to say, the phrase "you never get a second chance to make a first impression" rings true. I walked down the stairs hoping for a welcoming greeting and someone who could answer questions. What I recieved was an indifferent stare from a woman who pointed me towards the wall with the class schedule and information, who then went back to whatever she was reading. I walked back up the stairs and tossed the brochure in the trash at the first corner garbage can. For the sake of their other students, hopefully their customer service has improved. Or perhaps they're following the "36 Chambers of Shaolin" style of recruitment, where one has to walk across a barrel bobbing in water to be accepted.

A Hidden Gem for Mind-Body Healing…read more I found Body & Brain while searching for a place to help with my back and neck pain--and it's been such a positive experience. The instructors are warm, knowledgeable, and offer a unique mix of yoga and qigong that helps me release tension and feel more balanced. The studio is clean, spacious, and welcoming, with a cheerful energy that makes every class enjoyable. Even though my pain isn't fully gone yet, I feel a noticeable difference in how my body and mind feel overall. They also offer monthly special classes, which keep things fresh and engaging. Whether you're dealing with physical discomfort or just want to feel more grounded, I highly recommend giving this place a try!

It's more geared towards stretching, breathing, and making your body more flexible and healthy. It teaches you to be "mindful" and destress. It's an easygoing class where you can go at your own pace. You don't need a yoga mat for the exercises here, although you are free to bring and use one. The place is clean, well kept and calming to be in. They also offer online classes, but I have not taken those since I'd be watching from the couch eating popcorn instead of actually practicing. The attendees usually range from 30s-70s, I'd say most of them leaning towards the elderly side and female. There are a few guys in each class. Class size ranges from around 8-20 people, depending on the class and time, usually on the lower end. I feel better physically and mentally after each class, and I feel the improvement. The teachers are all competent and have a very positive, welcoming attitude. The classes are not cheap, but it's worth it for the health benefit (and they're also not prohibitively expensive). If you attend the classes, it's a reasonable rate. I would recommend trying their friends and family classes where it's free, they have those a few times a year. Then they offer different rates for 10 classes (you have 3 months to use them), 1 month, 3 months or 1 year. I always walked by this place and never went in. Wish I had joined years earlier. Overall I'd say it's been a very good experience.
