But Now that I live in Long Island and this place is close to my home. I gave it a try. Place is Big, Clean and pretty new. Staff is very minimal since they are trying to bring more customers to this location. OK here's the ILoveKickboxing class review: The trainers were very attentive, push you to the limits. Love the energy. The class consist in 15 minute hard core cardio (running , jumping, push ups, sit ups, etc), Then about 10 minutes of stretching, catching your breath and sweat all of it out. Then another 25-30 minutes of punching , kicking. Make sure to bring a small towel and water, I guarantee you'll sweat a lot, You will be Barefoot and wear comfortable activewear.

Everyone was amazed that we were able to find a drop-in gym for kids, but these guys made it no big deal. They were communicative via email, welcoming upon arrival, and even recommended a more suitable class for my kid. Many of the parents also practice and from what I've seen, the teachers know what they're doing. They use humor to engage the kids, never screaming or forcing them. We would happily join this gym again if we're ever in the area.

Kids classes are group instructions, and depending on the day of the week can be crowded or as low as 1 or 2 kids. As a former student of wingchung, I appreciate how much effort they put into teaching the kids discipline and restraint alongside the physical core of Jeet Kune Do. Good effort by students are reinforced while distracted/distracting kids are often reprimanded immediately, which is good. The lessons are a one year commitment, offering 2 lessons per week. The place is clean, bright and open. Parking is ample as it is located at an open Mall. My kids are eager to attend their lessons and overall I'm happy with this school.

Signing up for a monthly membership was an easy decision. Master Garcia is knowledgable and caring. He will take the time and put in the effort to train you whether you are a seasoned fighter or someone who has zero martial arts training. If you're reading this review, I suggest you find the class schedule, message the owner, and come in to try it for yourself. I have seen and practiced at other schools and this one has a notch up on integrity and culture. They don't gift away belts and the belt tests are hour long events making one worthy of achieving different levels. While all of the teachers excel in the knowledge and application of their corresponding arts at this school, Sensei Ubertini really stands out in maintaining such a positive learning atmosphere that encourages all students to do their best.
