When they first opened I would come regularly to the point they would remember me. Now every time I come it's seems as if I'm bothering them to order , not sure why it's strange reaction. I love to support family owned businesses but this may be my last time coming. It was a happy memory and a craving I only can fill when I'm back . They have plenty of seating and the food is amazing can't say otherwise the flavor has stayed the same and maintained quality. They seem to have less options for drinks now and a few custom actions I can't get without a huge uppricing. I used to pay 3$ extra to get humans in side of my gryo . I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It's a quaint family run restaurant with authentic Mediterranean cuisine. The lamb gyro meat was melt in your mouth good. Pita bread was fresh, warm and soft. Hummus was creamy perfection. I decided one day to try three different Gyro restaurants to see which one was the best. This one exceeded my expectations. They supplied the most meat in my sandwich over the other two places. The feta and Taziki sauce was great. If you're going to go to a Gyro place in the area, go to this one. The portion was large. I ordered pick up so I can't comment on the ambience. It was OK not amazing but not the worst. I ordered a veggie plate. the falafel were just OK and that goes for the baba ghanoush and grape leaves as well. The restaurant serves great Mediterranean food. It's an order and pay first type of setup then sit and chill. The food was fresh and hot. I had the chicken schwarma sandwich with fries and my wife had the chicken gyro with the Mediterranean salad. Both were fantastic. They were served in pita bread which was very good all by it self. This small storefront next door to a pizza place, you might overlook this little gem. Its worth the trip. Orders were placed at the counter and the sweet lady with the British accent brought us our trays. She made return visits to check in on us which was a nice touch. Portions are generous and everything was well placed on the plate and basket, not slapped together like you might expect. Everything was delicious and we had plenty to take home with us for later snacks. We tasted-- shawarma, falafel, dolmas, babaganoush, hummus, and chicken kebabs. The shawarma and the falafel was notably tasty. This may not be a great place to take a date, there is no ambiance and the instrumental musak doesn't quite fit the food or the environment. The blue lighting was a little off-putting at first, but we got used to it. I will totally go back here. I'm looking forward to tasting the gyro. read more

I came in off of a hard holiday drive from Florida to Tennessee. I was extremely tired and my stress levels were through the roof. I needed respite and at Mediterranean Bistro, I got just what I needed. As I entered I noticed immediately how immaculately clean the place was, with relaxing ambient jazz music in the background. It smelled nice and the people behind the counter were smiling. When I approached the counter, I could overhear the older gentleman behind the counter assuring a customer that they only wanted to earn his dollar the honest way. I had zero context for that statement, but it was reassuring to hear. I ordered the hummus appetizer with the chicken schwarma entree and it was delicious! After a while, the man's wife came from behind the counter and asked me how I liked the food, her answer came in the form of my already nearly empty dish. She proceeded to tell me how the chicken was carefully marinated and slowcooked to perfection. It was evident that these people cared about their food and the customers that enjoyed it. We got to chatting about what getting a drivers lisence was like in the United Kingdom and trading stories about how our respective tests went in our youths. These people are incredibly kind! As I was leaving, she showed me their 100 sanitation score and encouraged me to bring my new fiancé in next time I came through those parts! I would eat here weekly if I lived nearby. I ended up ordering take out through Doordash from Mediterranean Bistro. The food arrived nicely packed and labeled. I ordered the chicken kebab plate with a cucumber salad & rice. The platter came with tatziki sauce & pita bread. I also ordered a side of falafel. I really enjoyed the chicken kebabs and the rice. The salad wasn't as flavorful as I would have hoped. Delicious!! We stopped here after hiking at Kennesaw National Battlefield. You order at the counter and pay, then sit-down and they bring your food to your table. We got falafel as a starter then Chicken Kebab plate and Gyro plate. Falafel was delicious but the meals were plenty and we had leftovers. It was really good food. At the time my family and I went it was just the owners(?) taking orders and cooking, trying they're best to handle not just walk-in orders but to go orders as well. I have to give it to them, they persevered when a lot of other probably would have given up. We went on a Friday night which probably added to the already busy atmosphere. Previous 5 star review: Delicious, affordable, authentic Greek food! Most Greek chains will offer a gyro blend of beef and lamb. As someone that doesn't eat beef or pork, Mediterranean Bistro offers a fully lamb gyro wrap! It was a tasty wrap of fresh pita, great portions of well-seasoned lamb gyro meat, tomatoes, and a yummy tzatziki sauce. I walked in and ordered to-go and it was prepared right away and ready in just minutes. Great food,  great prices, and great service! Definitely will be coming back :) Updated 3 star review: Update: So it's been brought to my attention that the lamb gyro actually does have some beef in it (a commenter told me that she asked about it at the restaurant). I'm surprised because I remember talking to someone on the phone about whether the gyro had any beef and I was assured it was just lamb. For those who do not eat beef, especially for religious purposes, do skip out on the "lamb" gyro from here. I'm a bit upset because I think any ingredient changes/anything that is not as advertised (especially with ingredients - what if people had allergies to an ingredient not listed?) can be harmful to people, physically and emotionally. High hopes for the Kafta Kebobs. Tasted microwaved, very dry and tasteless. Fries, contrary to other posts, are your typical frozen "coated" type that are basically terrible.
